Lovely place. Welcoming staff. Yummy food. Live music was awesome. Totally recommend.

Food is massively overpriced and underseasoned. Food definitely over rated. Cocktails are inconsistent. If the person who runs the grill does it, then it is excellent. If anyone else does it (as he is busy cooking), then it is horrible. The staff is completely disorganised. I don't understand some of the high ratings and would avoid.

The owner is Portuguese by birth and many of his offerings are prepared in that style. We were a party of seven which meant several different meals were chosen. All of them were tasty and prepared to perfection. The staff were attentive, as was the owner. Also important, it is virtually impossible to find a good restaurant that is open on a Sunday; this fine establishment is open. We had an early seating and within an hour of our arrival, the restaurant was full. It you want a delicious meal, if you want attentive wait staff--come to The Garden Grill. If you are exceptionally lucky, the owner may still have one of his treasured bottles of Port that he will share with you.

We loved eating here! The owner was super nice and made great meat. We had a lot of fun talking with him! The staff was very attentive and kind and we really happy with the experience. Also, the atmosphere is wonderful. Definitely come here for a quiet lunch or a nice dinner. ☺️♥️

We love this restaurant and please, you need to order correctly and not complain when you get what you ordered! The food is well described and perfectly presented, speak to the staff about it if you are uncertain, we have never had a problem and they go out of their way to make our experience even better. This is a Portuguese restaurant with amazing meat dishes, we love it here and are weekly regulars! Thank you Paulo and team for always making our stay so wonderful

Paolo is the best! Spectacular service and outstanding and delicious food. There is no way that you can go wrong dining at this restaurant. I cannot say enough about the staff and of course the wonderful chef. The meat was tender and flavorful, the presentation was breathtaking and Paolo welcomes you and makes you feel like a part of his family. I had my husbands birthday dinner there, and there was no stone left unturned. From the welcoming staff to the surprise at the end of dinner we were completely and totally satisfied. On our way again tonight! See you soon guys.

Paulo and his team were amazing hosts! They certainly made a birthday dinner extra special. We loved the DELICIOUS food, atmosphere and great service. We hope to return very soon!

I came here yesterday and i was very disappointed because the price was very EXPENSIVE and the food is not value for money at all…i would not recommend this place to anyone…

Too slow service. Even nachos came in half an hour .😂They don’t know how to cook meat. We waited for one hour for our meal . Since they waited for all orders to be ready, most of them was cold. Only smoked marlin fish was good.

The meat is good but but we find it very very expensive for what it is. Value for money is not good enough! (Updated after your answer). So I will be more specific 1. We took meat for 6. I agree the meat was good 👍. 2. The fries were very soft and average 3. The salad plater per person is very small and average and presentation bad. 4. The beans very average 5. Rice portion very small and average 6. Half stuffed eggplant Rs.650 is a bit high From my opinion. 7. The nachos on starters very soft and very average You should try to make the side dishes at the same standard as your meat to much gap between them.

Overpriced and overrated. Staff is disorganised. Chicken was underseasoned, fries were overcooked. The aubergine was cold. We sent it back and it was still cold when it was returned to us. First round of cocktails were great, second round was very watered down. Double g&t tastes like a single. I would not bother to return.

The most cozy place with delicious food, friendliest people and brilliant music playlist! You should try their chorizo and marlin as appetizers. For the main course you can choose variety of meat, chicken is very good as well! There is also one special offer to try Portuguese national dish - rice with seafood, but you should order it 24 hours before. The chef Paolo is warmest man who is in love with life and his profession! For dessert I recommend banana or pineapple! What is very important, you want to come back. And when you come back you feel like you visit old friends ! Thank you guys so much!

Me and my wife went there last week, it was amazing, the staff was so friendly, always helping with a smile. The atmosphere was so romantic with nice live music. We were already impressed and that was before the food. Then came our order, the meat was out of this world, juicy and tender accompanied with a lovely fresh salad. It was so relaxing, I would recommend all my friends and family to go there with no hesitation.

Booked via whatsapp for the new year's eve dinner. Specified chicken instead of beef when booking. On entry we reminded them of chicken instead of beef again. Service was great until the tables filled up, then it was a disaster. Only two waiters who were run off their feet and sweating profusely. We were brought beef and we specified chicken again. Someone then remembered to put the chicken to cook!!! Everyone had eaten their main course and we were still waiting for our mains. One sad piece of thigh and a drumstick which were totally devoid of taste. And 2 viennas!!! No rice or salad as per the set menu. Other couples got 2 portions of fries and we got only one portion. The choc cake was a dry piece of swissroll that was so stale it tasted "sandy" in the mouth. A disgrace of a meal at Rs2800 per person excluding drinks! My daughter is a resident and won't be referring her company for their staff functions!

The restaurant is cosy, and i really loved their choice of music. It's a chill atmosphere and cool. The place itself is great. The food was amazing, and the lamb steak was mouth-watering. Taste great. The staff were very friendly, Mr Jerry is helpful, polite and really cares for our best experience at the restaurant.

Meat was really tender and tasty, and loved the live music! So good we even improvised a dance floor in the restaurant yard post-dinner :) public parking just across the street makes it very convenient as well. Looking fwd to coming back!

The food was tasty but we waited over an hour for it- most of that time the chef was chatting to a walk in client - before he had even started preparing our food. It's a pity because that ruined the evening- and the rest of the staff was great- and its a lovely setting.

We went to "The Garden Grill" for my daughter's birthday. It was absolutely amazing 👏. The service was excellent, the FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL and the Chef was so friendly. This is a fabulous restaurant and a must try. Well done 👏

I lunch here today. Shrimps with spaghetti. The food was delicious!! The service was first class. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Amazing food and superb service. Quiet and very cosy. Nice jazz background music. Family friendly. Currently enjoying their Mixed Meat Platter...and it is simply Outstanding! And finally, the owner is such a gentleman.

Had the garlic prawns and a steak. Not enough garlic flavor on the prawns. We ordered the meat medium but got a well done steak, told the chef who kindly came out and talk to us but also let us know that he considered our steak to be medium and told us that there is not supposed to be anything red in a medium steak. We disagreed and then we got a new steak. When he came out with it he told us tags in that we were wrong the first time and what we now considered to be a medium steak is actually a medium rare steak. Make sure to explain exactly how you want your steak! The flavor on the steak was amazing though, lots of garlic!

We were there Christmas night. Staff are really nice, but we ordered our meal at 19.20 we got our food at 20.45. The food was amazing 👏 we had the rump beef and chicken. But the waiting was so infuriating and made for a very late night with kids and tainted the experience. It's not cheap either. 10,000 Rps for 4 of us and only 3 main meals.

Super nice atmosphere, the waiter was fast and super friendly. Even the cook himself came around to greet and to serve the meat. The meat was amazing, tender and juicy. We absolutely recommend this lovely place!

very nice place.... music a bit too loud maybe... good service. they do not have huge menu, so its easier to order and thats great... food is very good.... just that we are not used to wait long period to get served but still meat is well cooked. vfm wise maybe a bit over priced.... but anyway was a very nice experience...
