A nice beach. But the sea is rather colder than other beaches, for example Blue Bay Beach. Well worth spending a few hours at this beautiful location.

This is a beautiful beach during lockdown but can get very crowded over weekends. A new parking lot is under construction. Food stalls and toilets on the beach

I think is one of the longest and calm of all beaches! From mai 2022 they built a nice parking place and showers. There are also a few food truck with very delicious plates! Nice sandy beach and very child friendly!

Not the spot we would choose to stay for a sunbath or a swim or food. It's okay just not our type of beach. If you like putting a hammock and have food from a food shack it's probably the best place to go for.

Cool long stretch of beach, sublime soft sand, lots of places to relax and little stalls with food and snacks. Plenty of easily accessible parking which is well laid out and safe

Beautiful long stretch of beach with a quiet vibe, despite the number of people on it. The woodland that separates the beach from the main road makes for a lovely break from the sunshine and is equipped with several benches and picnic tables. The Northern end, closer to Club Med and the public bus stop, is where the public car park is and where food trucks can be found. Going South it gets quieter and that's where you'll see the locals jogging and exercising later in the afternoon. There's also a large football pitch and training area at the back. Highly recommended and I'll be back very soon!

This is truly an excellent and stunning public beach. It consists of a long tree-lined white sandy beach with usually very calm waters. It has two separate areas for toilets (which appear well maintained) plus outdoor showers to remove sand, etc. There is also a good selection of local food stalls, one of which (Chez Poum) had superb noodle dishes. This is the beach for all others to live up to.

By far the best beach I have seen in Mauritius (north and east sides). The wind is gentle, beach is long and with plenty of room to sit (also has a few sunbeds with umbrellas here and there if you're a fan), water is clear and entry is easy (not abrupt if you have chimdren; no water shoes required). There are places for both sitting in the sun and in the shades offered by the trees. There are various options for food and drinks offered by the kiosks nearby. Also, the street is not in immediate approach, so there are no car noises on the beach. The only disadvantage is that there is not much to see if you want to do some snorkekling. Also, the sunset is amazing!

I really liked the beach. One of the best, in my opinion, of the beaches of Mauritius. You can arrive by car, bus or taxi. There are no problems with parking. Clean water, no waves, yachts, grass or other dirt. There are changing rooms, showers and toilets on the beach. Everything is clean, odorless. Also lots of places to eat. Mauritian fast food. Only these are shrimp, squid, fish, not shawarma) Delicious juices. Especially pineapple. Natural protection from the scorching sun in the form of a green alley. The trees are quite close to the water, you can lie in the shade of the greenery. Highly recommend.

Lovely beach. The sand is fine and soft, and the water is chilled but not too cold. There are stones here and there, but not too much. There are several vendors scattered over the beach offering water activities. Went in May and the beach was not very busy. Overall a pleasant beach to relax and enjoy the sun, sea and views.

Mont Choisy is one of the most beautiful beach in Mauritius with an amazing view of long arc of the beach reaching Grand Baie. It is cool for afternoon walk, swim and chill. Plenty of places to sit and swim or just watch the world go by. Fringed with trees it has some useful shade too for a nice picnic with friends and family. The water is a clear turquoise and beautiful in the morning with calm atmos including its soft sand.

Awesome beach !! GOOD initiative by the government to make parking spaces and disable bays but how does the person who have difficulty to walk, baby stroller or wheel chair reach the beach? Why can't they make a ramp for those people are they supposed to enjoy the parking or the beach .Frustrating

Am afraid littered with plastic. There is literally not a single 3 meters stretch where you won’t find litter. Pet bottles, single-use plastic from take away food.

Personally, I believe this is the best beach in the North of Mauritius 🇲🇺 just because it is so open, has loads of parking, best views and is nearly 2km long. Even when it is busy on weekends, there’s still so much of space to choose a spot. The vibes when the locals relax here are one of a kind and the sunsets 🌅 are simply too beautiful 😍 There’s plenty of shade with the casuarina trees and some palm trees 🌴The beach sand is so white and like powder, it’s just so relaxing 😎 The parking is generally on the road and there’s a new parking lot with bathroom facilities. Very little in terms of street food but very neat to Grand Baie and Troux Aux Biches.

This was the most gorgeous, vast open beach. With clean, clear sea water. I swam for hours and enjoyed suntanning. Was a bit surprised at how many people tanned topless because there were so many families with children and hundreds of people all around. Despite so many people, because it is a few kilometers of beach, you will find it is quite spacious. There are plenty of food trucks. The toilets were kept clean, but you must bring your own toilet paper.

Mon Choisy Beach, located in the picturesque island nation of Mauritius, stands out as a splendid public coastline. This beach is renowned for its striking blue waters, creating a serene and inviting ambiance for visitors. Strategically positioned trees near the shoreline offer a natural canopy, providing much-needed shade and respite from the bright, sunny days typical of this tropical paradise. The calmness of the water at Mon Choisy Beach is a notable feature, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and gentle water activities. Additionally, one of the most captivating experiences at this beach is the opportunity to witness breathtaking sunsets. The interplay of colors as the sun dips below the horizon offers a spectacular view, making it a memorable moment for beachgoers. This combination of natural beauty and tranquility makes Mon Choisy Beach a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Mauritius, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and scenic splendor.

Beautiful beach that's very popular among locals. Perfect spot to see the sunset and for a nice swim. Enough trees to find some shade if you don't want to stay in the sun. Not really any marine life to see near shore tough because of all the boats passing close by

(Translated by Google) A brilliant, wonderful, long, fairly wide beach with spotlessly clean, warm water and sand in the ocean - you can swim without shoes. For me, the forest with grass is sensational, where you can forget about the world in the shade :-). From the end (at Club Med), great views of the mountains. During the week, peace and quiet, complete relaxation, relatively few people. On weekends, it is quite crowded with locals, but then you can see the wonderful color of this place - people rest in huge families with picnics, music, dancing, joy and smile at every step. There is a free toilet (old and worn, but there is). A lot of food tracks with good food right on the beach, but if you are looking for mega cheap and delicious local food, I recommend going north to Ronda and eating at Mamou Snack :-). (Original) Genialna, wspaniała, długa, dość szeroka plaża z czyściusieńką, ciepłą wodą i piaskiem w oceanie - można spokojnie się kąpać bez obuwia.

(Translated by Google) We were there at Christmas 2019 and we did not have time to do all the beaches in the north of the island but for the moment this is the one we keep in mind! You will pass next to the magnificent golf course of Mont Choisy and under grandiose flamboyant trees to access the beach car park. There are shady corners, fine and clean sand (it will depend on the time of day you arrive because cleaning is done by hand, so longer) private sunbeds and impeccable service with your feet in the water too good for a cocktail than to eat Mauritian specialties (table and chairs brought just for you at the water's edge, free service ... new for us!) Not to mention Patrick and his custom-made natural stone jewelry! I advise you not to go too far west for your jog on the beach because you will come across Club Med which is much less friendly. PS: family beach of course! PS: plage familiale bien entendu !

Our favourite beach in the north of Mauritius. Lots of space, shade under the trees, food stalls. Great for swimming. We took a glass boat tour off the north of the beach - with a super nice man called Angelique who takes people out to the reef in his boat "white dolphin" (has masks and snorkel equipment available on the boat). We saw lots of fish and had a fantastic time. We wanted something short and sweet for our toddler and a good hour of looking out for fish and snorkeling was perfect - much recommended! I don't this he has a web presence but seems to be there most days.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius! A long stretch of fine white sand bordered by a large and well kept pine tree forest. The water is clear with beautiful shades of green and blue. There are plenty of parking spaces, some food stalls, icecream trucks, showers and a public toilet. During weekend it can get a bit busy with locals, but it's a pleasure enjoying the beach with them. Water sports are also available.

One of the best beaches in Mauritius without a doubt. The white sand with pristine clean water is ideal for a quick swim. Since there are no rocks on this beach, its quite soothing to walk in the sand barefoot.
