The hotel is located at a shallow lagoon with a private beach. The whole area is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, with woodden furniture at the beach and an amazing view from the terrace. I subtract one star at the rooms category, because we expected cleaner bathrooms. Apart from that, the service deserves five stars, because the staff was extraordinarily friendly, attentive and professional. My girlfriend and me are vegetarian and were provided with an individually prepared meal whenever we asked for it. The hotel ambiance is calm and relaxed, loud music, pool animation or partying do not fit to the resort. A special compliment has to be made for the food, which was outstanding and definitely made our stay a five star experience.

Amazing place! We spent 5 amazing days in June in Seasense boutique and I can honestly say it was our best hotel ever that we stayed. Rooms are amazing- all of them I guess have ocean view so you dont have to worry about that point. They are cleaned twice a day so the comfort is really high. Food in restaurant is super nice and everyday you will find sth different on dinner. Beach, pool - amazing! Overall our stay was so pleasant, everything was perfect that I higly recommend you this place. What you have to know about this place/ part of island is: 1)when we were i June, at around 3pm there was no more sun on the beach 2) there is no supermarket nearby 3) this part of island is really really windy! 4) hotel offers some excursions but i highly recommend to go to Belle mare beach, it is around 30 mind by foot Highly recommend you to see both sides of Mauritius as they are really different but both beautiful!

Tolle Wandermöglichkeiten in 1-2 Stunden Autofahrt. Wir sind außerhalb der Stoßzeiten verreist und waren definitiv nicht das letzte Mal hier. Vielen Dank für den erholsamen Urlaub.

We stayed at the Seasence first 2 weeks of June to celebrate our anniversary, very disappointed. The room was small and dark. The flooring and the walls of the shower were brown, it looked like they had forgot to tile it! The food in the restaurant lacked flavour and a number of items on the menu had a surcharge. We ended up having most of our food from the beach bar menu, burger, pizza, pasta etc. We chose the Seasence as the reviews were good and it is a smaller hotel with no children, but being on the east coast it is windy and in June the sun leaves the beach by 3.30pm. The hotel could do with more entertainment in the evenings to liven the place up. Finishing on a good note the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you especially Sylvania, Jerome and Eddie.

We had a fantastic week at this hotel! Very satisfied from start to finish. From the moment you are welcomed until you leave, you are pampered by the staff. The staff are very friendly, always a smile. All rooms overlook the sea which is a huge plus. Breakfast was great, about the dinner everything is indescribable. Big compliments to the chef and his staff, the fine dining theme is amazing! The food tastes fantastic and there is plenty of choice! The beach and beds are very good and plenty of space which is also an important point compared to other hotels. We are very glad we chose this hotel. Should we come back to Mauritius again, we will definitely choose this hotel!

Very nice relaxing stay at Seasense. Welcoming and efficient hotel personnel with a pleasing and professional attitude towards their hotel guests. Holidays here in winter which was in off season was perfect, not the crowd's and not the high temperatures. Highly recommended this hotel which has a beach side location on the east side of the island. Wish to thank all the staff and management for our wonderful time during our stay 👌🍹😎

We stayed at the hotel for a few days to get a 5 star experience after staying at a great 3 star hotel in the North Western part of the Island. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations; Pros: 1. Great accommodation with stunning ocean views, the rooms are exactly as advertised. 2. Nice breakfast with a variety of options 3. The team is very receptive to feedback and acts on complaints. Cons: 1. The service at the establishment is very commercialised, and the team did not seem to care and were going through the motions to get their tasks done. 2. Dinner starts at 7:30 pm, and the service is extremely slow due to the many guests compared to the waiting staff. We sat for around 15 minutes without being attended to.

We stayed at SeaSense for our honeymoon at the end of September / beginning of October 2022. It was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. On arrival you come into a very calming lounge and the staff are immediately very welcoming and warm. The whole place is extremely serene and calming. The interior design is very nice, laid back and minimalistic with lots of raw materials such as wood, straw, linen etc. Our room was very spacious and clean and decorated tastefully. We had a large walk in wardrobe and bathroom with a balcony and ocean view. We liked our room very much. Our only feedback would be that the bathroom slightly let the room down and seemed slightly older and worn than the rest of the room and overall hotel. The staff here are really the stars of the show. All of the staff, but particularly the bar and restaurant staff are wonderfully friendly and professional. Special thanks to Thierry and Dheeraj who made us feel very welcome and were really accommodating. My wife is a coeliac and Dheeraj (our waiter) made sure that she always had freshly baked gluten free bread and that all meals were gluten free including bringing surprise deserts. He also organised for us to have a special Mauritian delicacy one evening (biryani) which we loved. The curry’s were so good and we wished they featured more on the a la carte menu. At 4pm the hotel do ‘tea time’ which is on the terrace and you can have tea and cake which was always a nice treat. Dheeraj brought my wife chocolates instead of the cake which was very thoughtful. The cocktails are all very nice and staff at the bar and watering hole are very fun and vibrant characters! If you meet Samuel ask him to beatbox for you! You can hire water-sport equipment for free such as canoes, paddle etc. There is also a gym which is free to use though one of the air conditioning units had broken and the equipment was a bit outdated, this didn’t really detract from our stay though as it was all you needed for a holiday. One evening every week there are management cocktails and live music on the beach. We loved the live music though the meeting with management felt a bit awkward and overly formal for us. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. If we were to give feedback it would be to include more local delicacies and curries on the menu, have more of the live music (until later in evening) and update the bathrooms. However these didn’t really take away at all from how much we loved it here and are more really things which would make it even better! Thank you to everyone who made our honeymoon so special.

What a slice of heaven! From the moment my wife and myself arrived we were made to feel welcomed, if there is one thing this Boutique Hotel has it’s definitely an outstanding attention to detail when it comes to all levels of service whether it’s back of house, front desk or all other aspects of service. Gunness creates the most artistic towel animals, every shift he is on there is always a new and exciting creature at the end of the bed. The effort he must apply in making these is astounding and always leaves us exited to come back to our room to see if he has been in!! Aravin, Prithvi and Carine made sure our room was always squeaky clean and smelling beautiful Avi applies next level service when it comes to the restaurants, I don’t think there has been once when he has been working that he has not come over and offered a warm welcome or had a little chat, even when being served by the other great members of staff he will pop over to see if we need anything. (He even sorted a special vegetarian 5 course meal for my wife so she could dine with me whilst I had the special that night, truly impressive) Waiting staff remember what drinks we like by memory which is impressive and crack jokes which lightens the mood!! The massage at the Spa out of this world, frangipani flowers floating in a bowl gave off the most amazing scent, we went for a couples massage which is new that uses candle wax dripped in the skin infused with essential oils. My massage was deep with the most pressure which was the best wind down to start off our stay. Believe me when I say the masseuse knew exactly what she was doing, none of my muscles were missed, the pressure points were all visited. 100% do this if it’s the only thing you do. Every dealing I’ve had with front of desk has been efficient and courteous with no request too much of an ask. If there is one criticism it is that time unfortunately doesn’t stop to make the experience at Seasence last forever.

My now-fiancé and I embarked on a journey to Seasense with the intent of finding ultimate relaxation, basking in the sun, and partaking in various activities. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were warmly greeted with a complimentary drink and a rejuvenating massage. The delightful Keshia, who serves as the guest relations manager, graciously conducted a tour for us. From the 4th to the 14th of our stay, we were blessed with consistently pleasant weather, with temperatures hovering around 27-28 degrees Celsius. The sun radiated its warmth, accompanied by a gentle, refreshing breeze. One of the highlights of our Seasense experience was the complimentary boat house, offering an array of activities ranging from paddle boarding to kayaking. The tranquil ocean lured us out most days to make the most of this fantastic amenity. The boat house team demonstrated exceptional assistance, ensuring that there was always an attentive staff member present should we require any help. During our sojourn at Seasense, I had a special plan in mind—to propose to my partner on their birthday. In preparation for this momentous occasion, I maintained frequent communication with Keshia, meticulously arranging the perfect engagement package. I can attest that Keshia's support and innovative ideas were invaluable in crafting a personal and unforgettable experience for both of us. This package encompassed appointments, seamless communication, and visual aids, all tailored precisely to my envisioned setting. In this review, you will find photographs capturing the event, showcasing the exquisite flower arrangements, the private band, and the custom setup with a breathtaking seafront view and a charming runway. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Keshia for her role in making this the most perfect experience for us. Furthermore, Avinash, the restaurant manager at the hotel, played a pivotal role during the proposal evening, attending to our every need. His proactive approach throughout the evening ensured that we were consistently well-serviced and that the evening held a personal and special touch. Avinash even assisted me in recording the proposal on video, and we had discussions prior to the event to ensure everything unfolded seamlessly. I have included photos in my review to highlight this extraordinary evening and the hard work put in by the Seasense team. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Avinash for his continued attentiveness throughout our holiday, as he approached us each night to ensure our satisfaction with the service and to inquire about our day. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the entire restaurant and bar team, who worked diligently to ensure prompt service and maintained a consistently friendly and approachable demeanor. Special thanks go to Sylvana, Yona, Akhilesh, Sandren, and Jerome, who frequently attended to us and made certain we were content. Additionally, we want to acknowledge the fantastic housekeeping team, which provided exceptional service in maintaining our rooms beautifully presented and spotlessly clean at all times. This included daily cleaning and an additional turn-down service. We wish to offer our personal thanks to Oogesh, the housekeeping manager, and Nilesh, who orchestrated a stunning display of balloons, petals, chocolates, and a bathtub filled with petals for my partner's birthday and on the final night of our stay. Our gratitude extends to the entire housekeeping team, including Bhavish, Shivam, Kishan, and Gunness. In summary, our holiday at Seasense was an incredibly remarkable experience, thanks not only to the hotel's fantastic and chic ambiance and location but also to the extraordinary people at Seasense who made it one of the most enjoyable and standout destinations. We can confidently affirm that Seasense is a place we will undoubtedly return to.

Quiet lovely relatively small adults only boutique hotel. Service: This is probably the best thing about this hotel. Special thanks go out to Anish and Krish who were always happy and very funny which made the atmosphere in the restaurant and bar more lively. Furthermore, Sylvana is absolutely one of the best. She always saw the little details, remembered the coffee order from the days before, asked how our day was. Absolute gem of the hotel. Rooms: Wonderful appointed rooms (choose a bigger room, worth the money), bedding is comfortable, turn down service, fresh and clean every day. Restaurant(s): Great food every single time. Impressive how they manage the rather extensive menu and eat something different every single day. Hence you’re on an island so alcohol is expensive. Unfortunately the wine cellar and wine menu was not really up to date, which was a shame because they had a good collection of wines. The atmosphere was mainly created by some of the staff, although nicely appointed, hearing the slow piano version of the Titanic theme for the sixth time made us laugh 😉 As a coffee lover I did miss the cappuccino with actual foam. The machine is not well set for foamy drinks. Take a cappuccino at the beach bar instead, they have a proper milk whisk. Spa: Very good! Therapists were friendly and the overall quality of the massage was good. Prices match hotel spa service in Europe. Amenities: The pool, beach and daybeds were plenty never we had to search for a spot. Entertainment was rather absent but than again who needs loud music until late when you come for rest and relaxation. Location: Perfect for a chill beach holiday! But no action, nightlife nearby. All in all many thanks for a very relaxed holiday!

Staff are immediately very welcoming and warm. The whole place is extremely serene and calming. The interior design is very nice. Our room was very spacious and clean and decorated tastefully. Food is great... You can hire water-sport equipment for free such as canoes, paddle etc. There is also a gym which is free to use. Also, we were walking more than 5km from Seasense hotel, north direction, and I can guarantee, the best view and closest approch to the beach, has the same our Seasense accomodation. Even if you compare luxury 5-stars hotels... Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel, and I think this is the beat value for the money.

As we arrived it was a Wow-effect: the architecture of the building is beautiful with woods and a nice terrase. We had a tour of the hotel, the two restaurant, the terrasse, the pool and the spa. Then we arrived in our room, which are totaly fine. We loved the bathroom with the rainy shower. In the evening we went to the restaurant for eating and that was a bad start: the personal was so unfriendly, wanted to put us in front of the kitchen, the menu was overpriced (in the romantic restaurant you pay at least MUR 2'500-3'000 for one main course!!!) and the food had no taste. It continued like this on the next morning: for the breakfast omelette with no taste and at least 4 eggs in it (or more?!), personal unfriendly and they forgot every order or mixed them up. We noticed at the 3rd day a completely change in the behaviour of the personal: they laughed and talked to every client in a way they didn't before. Why? It stays a mystery...We also noticed that some clients gave tips to the personal, probably to have a better service. The hotel is definitly not a 5 stars, but rather a 3-4 stars with a lot of unmotivated personal. Some of them, like Thierry at the beach were nice and cared about the guests but it was definitly a minority. They are better price-quality hotels in the area, that's why i sadly wouldn't recommend to stay here. Comment for the hotel: You should tried to treat every clients the same, be less chaotic, be more friendly but not fake and probably put some slot for the dinner, better price-quality food and more typical food.

Probably one of the best hotel experience. All staffs are very well mannered, polite and helpful. They made us feel very welcomed and treated us very well. Excellence in service. Beautiful rooms. Nice pool and beach. Excellent food. I saw the most beautiful sunrise from my room... Definitely recommend. 5star

We had a stay of 14 days at Seasense Boutique Hotel. From the beginning to the end a wonderful experience. Everyone is really nice and took so much care of us. We always felt welcome. The room was cleaned 2-3 times a day and they made it ready for bed every night while we were having dinner. The food is delicious and the drinks very tasty. The atmosphere at night is cozy and perfect for drinks at the watering hole bar where the barkeepers mix fantastic cocktails and are always up for a chat. Keisha is a great guest relationmanager, she managed our trips and it's very impressive how she remembers every little detail. The beach at the Seasense Hotel is a dream. It's very clean and there is no trash at all. Perfect for swimming too because the water is really clear and calm. There is also the option to rent snorkling gear and kayaks for free. We also got the chance to get massaged twice and it was super relaxing. The woman knew exactly where to put pressure on and I was in heaven. So as you can see, it was a perfect experience for us and I would definitely recommend this to couples who wanna have a relaxing time with nice beaches and a fantastic 5-Star hotel stay. The hotel organized us a car and it was easy to get around to explore the island.

Have been there in November 2022: nice and cosy hotel directly at the beach. The staff is very nice and does a great job. Everybody is really committed to make your stay as perfect as possible. Room, breakfast, dinner - all perfect. All rooms are very close to the beach with seaside view. If you want to relax in the first row next to the beach, you have to be an early bird, but there is no fear that you can't get a good spot for your day, even if you get up late. The place suffers a little bit with wash ashore seagrass (no smell though), but at least 3 times a day there is a crew working removing the seagrass. So all good. We can also recommend to take the opportunity to book a catamaran tour for a day: all perfectly organised and really a great different experience to the sun bathing at the beach. Endless drinks and lunch on board included. All in all this hotel deserves our recommendation and we thank the staff for this lovely stay.

We stayed at this hotel in mid-October 2022 and the whole experience was wonderful. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and always went the extra mile to make our stay an enjoyable one (special mention to Samuel, Kavinesh, Gerald & Thierry in the bar areas who were truly exceptional in their service and approach to their profession). The accommodation itself was excellent and food was good (supplements for some the menu items was a slight downside). But on the whole, all worthy of the 5-star rating. The location on a private beach is truly second to none. Even when I was ill with some heat-stroke, all of the staff were so helpful and friendly to myself and my partner, ensuring we were both OK. I cannot thank and rate them highly enough for this. I would definitely recommend a stay at Seasense.

The facilities are great, the food of a fine dining standard, the location and beach utterly gorgeous and the rooms comfortable with good amenities. But it's the staff that makes this hotel outstanding. From warm welcomes to friendly conversations and the desire to help, they made us feel at home. There are countless staff members who assisted us, endless moments where they went out of their way to help make our stay so memorable. We're eternally thankful. The only cons really are those associated with a stay in Mauritius. Prices of food and drink in the hotel are relatively high (to maintain quality) and getting about the island means a car or taxi. A truly amazing place to stay.

Well run hotel with well trained staff who are genuinely helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean with a generous sized bathroom with small and large shower heads, and the bedclothes are turned down nightly by the evening room staff. The decor is modern and not too fussy. There is a small bar fridge as well as a good safe for valuables. I am coeliac and lacto-vegetarian and the chef and staff were fantastic in making sure I received a balanced diet. Beaches are beautiful and cleared daily of any seaweed or other debris. Highly recommend this hotel

A very nice small hotel. The room: Very nice and huge room with a view on sea. Super clean big bath room. You will find every thing that you need from sleepers to hairdryer the bed was very comfortable. The overall hotel was very nice with a beautiful beachfront with a very easy acces. The only downside was some algae on the beach. The Staff was absolutely lovely. The food: I had only booked the bed and breakfast, the food variety in the morning was very good nothing to report here BUT the staff in the restaurant was clearly untrained and they would forget your order and ask multiple time or get-it wrong. The coffee at the hotel restaurant was absolutely a disaster the cappuccino ranging from bitter to a kid drink with the taste of Nesquick (thank god for the Nespresso machine in the room). I think this hotel is a good 8 out of 10 they have small thing to make right.
