I really loved my stay at this hotel. One person at the reception was a bit cold, but the 4 others were warm and very helpful. We booked 19 rooms and all the rooms were clean. The buffet was nice.The waiters were very helpful and nice and the dessert buffet was simply amazing! Everything in that dessert buffet was really tasty! I have been to a couple of 5*s hotels this year and the food was not as good as the food I had there! The pool was spacious and clean. The drinks at the bar were nice. There was also a Sega night on that day . The entertainment was great! For a 3* hotel, it was much above my expectations!!! Pleasantly surprised by this place! Thank you to the hotel staff who made sure that my family had a great time!

Absolutely exceptional stay at Laguna Beach. I'm surprised this isn't classed as 5-stars - it's really that good! The room was cleaned to perfection each day (it was spotless). The bar staff were so accommodating and knew all the best drinks. The food was extremely well-cooked and thoroughly delicious - ALWAYS fresh meats and vegetables, nothing recycled. All the servers in the restaurant were simply fantastic and really looked after us. Each and every member of staff was just so very polite and friendly. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again and highly recommend this hotel for honeymooners and families alike (stayed a week from end of April). The WiFi is great, too!

the hotel as a hotel is ok but the food is monotonous every day the same and most of the dishes are Indian but the place where the hotel is located is a disaster ocean dirty smelly massacre if you only want to smell it by the pool then ok but when you fly here you want something more

We chose a room with tub but got 1 without tub which was very disappointing . Should improve more in room services. Was unable to put on tv , call the receptionist asked for help ... but unfortunately no one was sent for help till the end . The girl on reception wearing specs was quite boring and should be trained more. Food I would say nice. Pool was great . Restaurant Staffs were very friendly and welcoming ... the chef was very kind and helpful... View from room was nice

+ Laguna is small hotel with amazing view from infinity swimming pool. Has artificial beach (nice and small but enough). Close to harbor where we can buy all day trip to waterfall, Ile aux Cerfs etc. - standard price 2000-2500 RP) On Monday, Wednesday and Friday hotel offered free ship to Ile aux Cerfs too (reservation on beach point required!) Drinks included in all inclusive option are good (pinacolada, beer, wine, local alcohol etc. but be aware what you order (read menu before!) because some popular drinks are excluded and then during check out you will pay extra cash for it (we paid 740 RP for 4 drinks). WiFi is ok depends of places - on beach,and swimming pool zone 5-20Mbps, on room above restaurant (No. 203) range poor and without internet in bathroom but speed 2-5 Mbps - enough for Netflix and YouTube. Service are very friendly, helpful and smiling🙂🙂🙂 Hotel is clean, nice arranged and small - for us this is big advantage Rooms are moderate size with big balcony (pretty view!) and have fantastic, local climate (but refresh would be nice🙂) Mini bar is free and equipped with water, beers, cola, fanta pepsi daily filled during cleaning Close on hotel you will find few local food shops but for shopping you need to take taxi or rent a vehicle - if you mainly want to stay in hotel and take few (eg. 3 times) all day trips (external (no from hotel) taxi driver for 8h~3500RP) this is the best place for you (close to Laguna is Four Season Hotel - this isn't coincidence😁) ! Foods have very good quality - often tuna, chicken and beef in lots variants but... -> - ->Number of dishes are poor - each time we found something for eat but sometimes we need to thinking a lot what we can eat this day (lunch much better than dinner in our opinion). Coffee poor without aroma. Very loud music till 11pm - we had room above restaurant and this were very irritated (especially for somebody who (as we) want to sleep or watch a movies after all day trip) We recommend this hotel (in all inclusive version) for somebody who want to takes the rest, makes few all day trips and loves beautiful views. If you want to drive a lot and visiting all Mauritius nice places - find hotel with better location (closer to Flic en Flac or Le Morne)

Pros : 1. Resort is undeniably beautiful. 2. They have variety of food items, tasty and fresh. 3. Big swimming pool, wow watersports (near by) where you can do Watersports, underwater sea walk and many more. 4. Explore near by market area. 5. You can have evening walk around the resort with a beautiful view. Cons : 1. Hotel remains mostly crowded so couldn't get the sea view we were expecting and which we had booked. 2. Security guards are quite interfering and lazy they won't open main door quickly and ask the duration of the stay and cause further delay by their enquiry ( which is unnecessary information for security guard to ask). Suggestions: 1. They should organize more activity in the evening like local music and dance..that would be lovely. 2. They should allot rooms as booked and preferred.

Nice place to stay, the view from the windows are beautiful and this hotel is practical if you want to go to Île aux cerfs. There was an issue with our room but the staff did everything they could to make us have a nice stay and changed our room to a bigger one. The service is really good and I appreciated the effort of the staff. I would recommend this hotel :)

Staff in bar & restaurant were amazing especially Davina Avi Big Dave & bin head they will know who we mean. Some of reception staff could be friendlier.Our holiday company said it was 4* but more like 3-3.5. Food was OK but after 2 weeks was a bit samie. Today’s the final day and what an amazing holiday it has been. We booked with Mercury Travel and we have not been disappointed with our all inclusive package at Laguna Beach Hotel & Spa. From the bar staff, the restaurant staff, the entertainment staff, reception staff, all the amazing staff at Laguna Beach Hotel and Spa Thank you for making this holiday one to remember. All the staff are smiling, helpful and offer the best service especially Avi. There has been a great variety of food and drinks daily to choose from. With Laguna Beach Hotel and Spa being a central pick up for trips out we have done endless boat trips to beautiful beaches and islands, safari park, reggae festival, night life, the markets, walking with the lions, dolphins, snorkelling... the list is endless. Thank you to Kevin Jooty the Deputy General Manager and all his team for making this a holiday we will never forget. I would 💯recommend

Rooms were nice. Only thing is that they should provide a wardrobe for keeping the dresses. Except this, Breakfast and dinner buffets were beautiful. Swimming pool is a treat. Overall wonderful experience.

Awesome experience..very nice resorts for couples..I had visited 4years back and again planning to revisit..peaceful place and private huge sea..swimming pool larger than your expectations..wake up with morning local dance..resort situated near by il le surf island..also near to city and capital port louis..private boats are always available in campus of resort.. Most important is all staff of resort are very nice and humble..all kind of foods avalable in breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Indian foods are too tasty..

Der perfekte Platz um sich vom Alltagsstress zu erholen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und es werden auch Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und merkt sich jede Vorlieben der Gäste. Hier fühlt man sich rundum wohl und perfekt umsorgt. Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Laguna Beach Personal, wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen

Sehr nettes Personal, wirklich sehr bemüht. Essen sehr gut. Kleines Hotel, nicht überfüllt. Der Poolbereich ist daran gemessen sehr großzügig sodass immer Platz ist und man im Pool schwimen kann. Ausstattung ist Landesstandard aber alles ist sauber und man kann dort einen schönen und entspannten Urlaub verbringen. Kleiner Strand der zum liegen ok ist, wer viel schwimmt findet in der Umgebung aber mit dem Taxi viele breitere Strände. Für meinen Geschmack ein sehr freundliches Hotel und ein schöner Urlaub.

Beautiful reasonably priced resort with gorgeous rooms and pool. Since it's located on East Mauritius, commuting to other areas is time consuming. One closely located activity is Ile aux cerf. The kayak and pedal boating (which on their website they say is complementary to all guests) is not worth it at all since it can only be done in the cornered off ocean area which is max 1m deep (which is shallower than the pool). The food was decent and most staff are well mannered and courteous. We did face an incident of racism but the same was taken care of once a complaint was made.

The hotel staff was very polite, helpful and professional View from the room was fantastic and the pool area was well kept The hotel is located in a remote place so renting a car is recommended Now the bad stuff. Balcony was covered in pigeon feces and the whole hotel need some renovation. Also there were some ants running around the room.

We stayed at laguna Beach Hotel and from the beginning we wasn't happy because we had some issues. But one Manager called Avishen made our stay so special. He made every effort to ensure that we're well look after till our last day. This type of manager should be given promotion for his post. We admired his kindness and effort. Avishen you're very special to us, without you we would have gone elsewhere. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mauritius and the food exceptionally great. The chefs are very helpful, friendly and everyday they made sure that I got my crushed chillies sauce (Typical mauritian side). Thank you so much for everything Avishen and hope to meet you again soon!

Lovely, elegant hotel, with a beautiful garden, nice pools and a private beach. The restaurant is a bit outdated, but the food is delicious. During the evening there are some music activities and it gets a bit loud until 11PM. Great view of the sea and the mountains and you can reach Ile aux Cerf by boat from just outside the hotel.

Good well located hotel. All nice spots can be reached by walking distance. Breakfast as always in the US not remarkable.

Lovely view, great service, the food was different and majorly featured curry which seems to be their main spice. But overall a lovely place.

Ambience: Small but very cozy hotel. Situated in an isikated quiet location with a smal private beach and outdoor swimming pool. An outdoor bat also available with a boathouse setmrvice for clients. Customers can choose frimm either individual rooms or luxurious villas. Open buffet provides a variety from local Mauritian cuisines to foreign dishes.

Surroundings are not so great, but the Hotel and views are good. Very friendly helpfull staff. Tasty food and drinks.

I really love my stay at this hotel, all the staff were very nice and helpfull, hats off to all the staff there, food was amazing, we booked 5 deluxe room instead of standard and didn't get what we expected and on top of that it was raining that day and the roof of the rooms were leaking in our 4 rooms just infront the bed we had to put towel to absorb the water, secondly i am very disappointed about the activities we actually booked this hotel because of its activities as there was a long activities list. But we didn't even get to do atleast one activity. When we went there the they were saying pedalo is broken, kayak they had about 5 kayaks but only 2 rams, and glass bottom works only 3 times a week. Otherwise everything were amazing, but am very disappointed about the rooms and activities.

Very nice cosy family hotel. It has an infinity pool and a beach pool, which we very much enjoyed. The food was typical of a 3* hotel, no expensive seafood, however it was tasty and there was a decent variety. The scenery is exceptional, mountains and the river. I would advise a trip to the waterfall which is close by.

Very friendly personal. The guy responsible for the restaurant has give such a warm welcome. As well the barmen and waiters. 2nd visit still satisfied. Even with the bad weather we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the team.

Great place to stay. The food is ok-good, could be improved based on the spice levels. There are few indian vegetarian options but the taste can be improved. Room size is decent, the ocean view is absolutely blissful. The pool is also very clean and bar is right beside the pool so you can enjoy great Ocean and mountain view from the bar.

very cozy hotel, with several dozen rooms. all overlooking the ocean and most of the mountains as well. local, home-made food, just enough to eat as you eat at home. because the atmosphere is homely here. service is not service, just your family on vacation. In words, just like at home. only with better views. greetings to everyone at the hotel, especially Avi, for the mojitos he made to us as he promised and for my 50th birthday unforgettable. we miss you already.

Perfect hotel location on the East Coast of Mauritius. The location has a truly authentic feel, nestled against a working harbour. From the moment we arrived, staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Food choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent, with local Mauritian dishes on offer. The kitchen staff accommodated very well my wife's wheat allergy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed in 210 (first floor) which overlooked the pool area. WiFi in the room was intermittent to poor (reason for a missing star). However, around the pool and at the reception the WiFi was excellent. Entertainment/music was provided each evening and finished at 11pm. The car park was secure, with a gated entrance and security person. A free boat taxi was provided from the hotel's jetty to the island Ile aux Cerfs. A must do. The journey took about 20 minutes. Kayaks and pedaloes were also available. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families who prefer to be away from the main tourist areas on the island.

After a few difficultys at he start the staff made an effort to make our stay memorable even hough it was a short one the buffet food was also nice, with a cook present.
