I've been fortunate enough to stay at Salt 3 times in the last 4 years with work and on holiday. I travel extensively for work and this hotel is one of my favourite in the world. It's beautiful and located on a really lovely patch of beach but that's honestly the least special thing about this wonderful hotel. The staff are SO great. Everyone is super friendly and caring without being overbearing and they seem to really enjoy their jobs. They're what makes Salt extra special. The rooms are compact but have everything you need - including locally made shampoo, conditioner and body wash which all smell gorgeous; a recycled plastic beach bag, yoga mat, guidebooks and the most gloriously comfortable beds. There are blackout blinds but if you're up for it I'd keep them open to be woken by the spectacular sunrises over the ocean. Then we get to the food. The best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. So much variety, extremely delicious pastries, smoothie bowls, eggs, everything home made and ingredients sourced on their own farm or the island. The lunches and dinners the same, so much variety and everything really delicious. Even plenty of vegan options. The chefs are so proud of their work and are happy to make adjustments and make things off-menu too. All in all an exceptional hotel and one that I know I will return to again some day.

Nice hotel located on a corner of the beach so basically has 2 views on the ocean. Itā€™s clean a beautiful. The staff are very helpful and amazing. Close to some great restaurants. They have free activities for the hotel visitors and more things for the honeymooners. The only thing for me wasnā€™t 5 starts is the restaurant. The staff is also helpful and great but the food wasnā€™t suitable for me. Specially breakfast as there are no enough options. But one thing still doesnā€™t affect the stay we did eat out. I totally recommend this hotel.

This is the best hotel experience I have ever had (and Iā€™m a Marriott Lifetime Platinum with more than 700 nights in hotels). Everything about my stay was impeccable: First off the restaurant and bar were outstanding. The staff is extremely professional and well trained, while still very friendly and amicable. Their hospitality is unmatched and their positive attitude is contagious. The food is delicious, locally sourced, with a story behind ingredients and recipes. The hotel itself is superb: the uplifting splashes of color are the first thing you notice, and everything is designed in a visually pleasing and functional way. The attention to detail is great: every room has a colorful beach tote, a sanitized yoga mat, etc. The entire hotel is clean, airy, and well managed. Finally, another aspect I really enjoyed was the activities offered to guests: everything from sunrise yoga, to aqua gym, and snorkeling. All activities are super fun, with trainers who are positive and great at what they do. SALT really redefines luxury experiences for modern times. I highly recommend this hotel, I would come back to Mauritius just to stay here again!

Beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the chefs served delicious healthy meals, and the pool and beach were just fantastic. The rooms had a good assortment of books for us to read while relaxing by the pool. the yoga offered each morning was a great way to start the day. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back!

We stayed in Mauritius for 2 weeks, out of which we spent 5 days at Salt of Palmer. For 3 days, we had booked their Garden View and for the remaining 2 days, we booked their Bang on the Beach Room. Further below, Iā€™ll explain the worth of both. Beautiful on the outside but super commercialised on the inside, Salt of Palmer is good only if you would like to spend lavishly only on clicking pictures. You would feel itā€™s a luxury design hotel by looking at its pictures on booking websites and Instagram page. While itā€™s design does give you a different kind of stay experience, the services are hollow. Let me give you exact points to consider before you plan to waste your money on it. 1. The location of the hotel is not great. If you are not going for their 3 meal package, it will be difficult to find good places to eat outside. We struggled to find restaurants around the hotel. Thereā€™s a small mall with few options 10 minutes from the hotel which is ok. There is another Green Island restaurant 10 minutes in the opposite direction which will offer scrumptious food. 2. We took their breakfast package and it was horrible. Smelly fish, uncooked eggs, avo on toast lacked flavours. Their bakery items are good and so is their hot chocolate. Otherwise, everything else - Total waste of food and efforts. 3. The staff is intrusive. They track your every move, what you have been doing, whatā€™s on your plate, how much food you ordered, where you are etc. and itā€™s downright creepy. They also show fake pleasure on greeting you and talking to you. 4. Everything is charged. Even the air you breathe. If you want something extra, thereā€™s no courtesy of the hotel to provide it to you. Theyā€™ll tell you they take care of you but for something as small as a biscuit, they will charge it to your room. I mean, you will have to think five times before you plan to do anything with the hotel or perhaps ask before every meal and every activity if it is charged. 5. We visited in mid-June and yes it was a bit windy but they did not let us do any of the activities from their boathouse. We had to pay a third party outside of the hotel to do Snorkeling and other activities. They cited safety reasons and when we did go externally, it was all safe and sunny. 6. My husband wanted to do something special on my birthday, the reason why we booked Salt. They provide this romantic set-up by the beach that basically looks a little romantic but has nothing special - lights/food/music. Nothing. One of their staff members claimed that it is free of charge (since itā€™s just a hut with a table). When my husband did book it, they charged us MRU 10k. We were so revolted with this cheap tactic. 7. We are Indians and you know how Indians are treated abroad, especially when the tourists are French. Absolutely slow service and no importance given to us. Pathetic?! 8. Adding to that, after we checked out from the hotel, there was nobody to help us with our bags. We had to put them in the car ourselves. 9. The water you get for shower is lukewarm. Even if you want it to be hot, you wonā€™t get it. It was windy and we had to shower with lukewarm water for five days. 10. Their garden view rooms are almost similar the bang on the beach. The difference being the view, added hair mask and sun cream. We travel a lot to various destinations and we have sworn that wherever we go, we wonā€™t book the Salt chain of hotels due to their horrible service.

Really one of the best hotels I ever have been, and I have visited many. The service was just fantastic. the crew really did so much to make our 3-week-visit extraordinary. They really showed us that we are welcome guests. I still miss your so delicious food, especially breakfast. The cocktails are worth trying, especially Midnight Moon. you surely will not get anything similar in other hotels. The spa is also worth visiting. Thank you so very much for the nice birthday cake, too, and of course for our honeymoon cake. Lots of greetings from the blind Finn and her German husband, and once again, thank you!

Iā€™m in love! šŸ˜ Upon arrival it smells so beautiful and youā€™re greeted with a fresh juice as you check in. The staff are excellent and everyone is so pleasant. The rooms are gorgeous with a big shower! Choose a room with an ocean view if you can, itā€™s more than worth it! The free activities are fantastic, from sunrise yoga to water aerobics as well as making your own body scrub. Most definitely hop on every boat trip you can haha. Attention was paid to my dairy and gluten free diet and each day at breakfast I was directed towards food that met my requirements. Everything is freshly made in the kitchen and delicious. Such a stunning hotel, had a magical stay and would definitely recommend and book again šŸ˜

This hotel has such an attention to detail, from the spare reading glasses to the beach bags provided. The decor throughout was colourful, quirky, fun and coordinated throughout. No use of plastics and as many eco friendly solutions as possible. The food was amazing and I couldnā€™t recommend the cookery class enough. Every staff member went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we could want or need. A lovely place to unwind and relax would highly recommend.

I am from Mauritius and this is by far the best hotel for peace and enjoying the beach. The best part is that the room is on the sand and you have the see couple of meters where you sleep. You can hear the waves crashing. Other bigger and more renowned hotels usually have a seafront but you are far from the beach. I love the concept, the food, the view and the staff. I extended my holidays there for more days and will come back for sure. Its a gem.

Modern, stylish resort hotel. Nice location, right on the beach. The staff are friendly and attentive. It has some interesting quirks - there's no TV in the room, and there's no reception/concierge - everything is done through their app. The only negative was the idiot guests who would stick towels on the sun loungers *before they had breakfast* - I would expect to see hotels in this price bracket handle this kind of infantile behaviour instead of tolerating it.

Itā€™s like being in paradise. Excellent hotel and location on the beach. Love the fact that itā€™s adult only and the food is all a la carte. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Really enjoyed doing the daily yoga and fitness classes which were included. Would love to stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this boutique hotel on Mauritius, starting from our nice and relaxing checkin until the end of our stay. The beach or pool views are just amazing. Food is extremely good and served as a set menu, which gives you a constant holiday feeling without the need to rush to a buffet We informed the hotel that we are on our honeymoon and received little gifts like a bartender class, cake and a massage which was really nice. For us they also enabled an upgrade to a full see view (bang on the beach) which was just amazing and is highly recommended by us. There is an all day free drinkwater tap at the pool which is great and fits to the sustainable concept of the hotel. Compared to other 5 star hotels on the island, Salt had by far the best price-quality-ratio. We booked the half-board package, next time I would rather tend to full-board as the prices for food from the cart has been rather high. All hotel staff was super friendly, comprehend and always knew our names which made us feel at home. Things to be considered: - Drinks (except water) have been rather pricey. This was fine for us, but if you like to drink you should check if there is a all inclusive or drinks package - You are at the north east coast of the island, so obviously you will not have the sunset views as on the westcoast, but this was no problem at all for us (we went to the westcoast to enjoy this at two evenings ) - We traveled end of march and were lucky with the weather, but the weeks before have been rainy - Salt room was nice but comes with extra charge

I really donā€™t understand why there is so many positive reviews for this place, but please trust me, itā€™s not worth your money. My fiancĆ© and I visit Mauritius once a year, we typically stay in a villa with my family but this time we thought weā€™d experiment staying at a hotel just the two of us, for a romantic get away. Our stay was 3 nights (Jan 1st - 4th 2023) and to be honest, it was 3 days too much. FOOD: Extremely overrated, overpriced and very often the food was spoiled or inedible. Iā€™m not the type of person to send food back to the kitchen but when the steak is so tough you canā€™t chew it or when the yogurt was clearly left outside all morning it began to fermentā€¦ thatā€™s when I have a problem. I complained to the staff numerous times and rather than fixing the problem they just apologise but it kept happening time and time again. I read a review from a prior guest who had FOOD POISONING from this hotel, and it doesnā€™t surprise me one bit. When it was edible it was mostly very meh. DRINKS Overpriced, overrated and has barely any alcohol in it, are you noticing a pattern here? SMELL On our last day, there was this awful swage smell that was lingering all day around the pool area and during our last dinner at the hotel, the staff thought that supper would be the PERFECT time to sort out the horrendous sewage stench. I kid you not, there was a man sorting it out TWO METERS away from guests eating their food. How they think this isnā€™t a health and safety violation I do not knowā€¦ SERVICE: Some servers were very friendly but good Lord was the service slow. NOISE: Our room was next to a public park, where locals would often have parties in the middle of the night. So keep that in mind. CLEANLINESS: Never changed sheets or towels, never didnā€™t sweep or mopped either, there was sand all over the room. The cleaners basically just make the bed and turn on the air-con. SPA: Unenthusiastic and miserable. One of the staff walked in the room without knocking while I was getting changed, didnā€™t apologise. LOCATION: Beach front which is great but there isnā€™t many restaurants at walking distance. OVERALL: We did end up complaining to the manager. He was very friendly but always disagreed with our feedback, or had some sort of ā€œreasonable explanationā€ for every one of our complaints. I.e "Your steak turned out tough and dry because we aim to ensure the safety of our pregnant guests by preparing all steaks to an extremely well-done levelā€ But not to worry he gave us a free branded reusable water bottle for our troubles.

We loved our stay at Salt! The hotel provides a really unique experience compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed in. The service, decor and food were particularly good. There's loads of activities included in the price - the daily snorkelling trips were amazing!

The personalised service we received made us feel truly special, a level of care and attention you won't find in larger hotels. The management really cares about your best stay. You will be looked after! After spending a month exploring Mauritius and trying out various accommodations, (I will write about those ones soon) we decided that this is the place we want to come back to in December. Rishi, the manager, deserves special praise for his genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful dinner by the pool We loved it! What a way to celebrate a wedding anniversary ā™„ļø The room is tastefully decorated, the bed is comfortable, and the beach in front of the hotel is stunning! Perfect for a swim. Salt embodies luxury while maintaining authenticity and sustainability. And we canā€™t wait to go back!

The most lovely and attentive experience here at Salt. We only stayed for two nights, but it was the perfect start of our holiday in Mauritius. The rooms are really nice. We did yoga in the morning and the food was great! Best food we had in Mauritius. You do pay for this, the food was quite expensive. Cheapest bottle of wine on the menu was more than 40 euros. A glass of wine 12 euros. Though, totally worth it looking at the experience we had. A must visit for a relaxing holiday. It also smells amazing everywhere the entire day. They had many activities you could join. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful hotel!

We are currently staying at Salt of Palmar and are having the best, most relaxing time. The staff is incredibly friendly and forthcoming. We are vegans and were initially unsure about the food situation (they do offer vegan dishes but they are all raw and smaller portion sizes). We told the staff that we are vegan and the chef took the time to talk about our food preferences and wishes and has surprised us with delicious meals every day; for breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Sanjay and the executive Chef, Nitish, for making our stay so special! Special thanks also to housekeeping. Everything is cleaned to an impeccable standard!

An excellent hotel and we had a great time there. Staff was very nice and special mention to Med, Vish, Rohan, Isha and Bhavesh. Chef Shiva was amazing too. One of the best hotel Iā€™ve stayed in. Food was amazing and was a welcome change from the buffet that is served in hotels. Food seemed prepared with love not in wholesale( you know what I mean). Activities were well organised too. Would recommend this place for a quite holiday and a relaxing time. Thanks for a great vacation.

Small but very cozy hotel with a unique concept of treating its customers casually like as if they were hosting relatives or friends. With no TV in the rooms, they try to induce you in exploring around or have fun by participating in games or other activities. The food is served 'a la carte' but is of high quality. So you get to choose a 3 set meal course for dinner from a large choice of menu including some local food. Despite being on the East Coast, if there's good weather, you get to enjoy a beautiful sun set with all its different shades reflecting on the crystal blue sea.

A very nice hotel to relax, no loud music, no noise. Very nice and copious food, honesty the best I have had in a hotel. The staff is so friendly and the restaurant service was impeccable, particularly from Sanjay. I would recommend it definitely for travellers who want to enjoy a peaceful stay in a very nice hotel overlooking a beautiful beach

Amazing stay. The staff is so friendly and the service is excellent. Very good food and the best breakfast. The rooms is super clean and ā€œthe bang on the beachā€ really gives you the most wonderful view. Special thanks to our friends in the boat house for all the water activities and laughter.

The best part of our stay was that We could see a clear sunrise everyday from our room. Rooms were modern and minimalistic. Excellent service but also a little expensive. There was a lizard in our room which the staff removed immediately when called upon. It seems lizards are common in Mauritius.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort, and I can confidently say it was the most enjoyable stay Iā€™ve ever experienced! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was captivated by its vibrant and well-designed atmosphere. The use of colors throughout the property created a lively and joyful mood that instantly put me in a relaxed state of mind. One of the highlights of this resort was its stunning beach. The white sand and pristine waters provided a picture-perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. I spent hours soaking up the sun, strolling along the shoreline, and taking refreshing dips in the crystal-clear ocean. It truly felt like a paradise. When it came to dining, I was blown away by the fantastic culinary experience this resort offered. The food and drinks were exceptional, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. What made it even more special was how the hotel embraced the story behind each ingredient. Every meal became a delightful journey of flavors, allowing me to savor the regionā€™s culinary traditions. But what truly set this resort apart was its incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest smiles and genuine hospitality. The entire team was not only attentive and accommodating but also genuinely happy to assist in any way they could. Their passion for creating memorable experiences was evident in their every interaction, making me feel like a valued and pampered guest. Moreover, the range of activities offered at the resort made each day unique and exciting. Whether it was engaging in water sports, practicing yoga by the beach, or exploring the surrounding area, there was always something to suit my interests and add an extra touch of adventure to my stay. My time at this resort was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of its well-designed ambiance, stunning beach, exceptional culinary delights, and the incredibly kind and helpful staff made it a truly unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to fellow travelers seeking a delightful and rejuvenating getaway.

Great eco-friendly hotel with a beautiful design, great ambiance and a perfect location right on the beach. We were welcomed with personalized check in by staff who were courteous and attentive to our needs. We stayed in a "bang on the beach" room. The room was perfect and the view was breath taking. You had a beautiful view of the beach as well as being able to see the sunrise from your bed. The food was exceptional. We loved the idea that all their food were grown and/or purchased locally. We would like to thank Sanjay and the rest of the personnel for making our 10th anniversary very special. We highly recommend this hotel for their 5 star service and will definitely be back.

Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot. We are on a vegan diet, and they catered all meals to our needs. Every morning and evening we got food specifically made or adjusted for us. We weren't expecting this and it exceeded our expectations. If you want to experience things outside the hotel you need a car, as it's rather far away from most things adventurous. (Except water sports and diving, which can be done in front of the hotel at the beach)

  • 5/5 Elvy K. 6 months ago on Google
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were beyond amazing. Sanjay and the team went above and beyond to make our stay extra lovely including making sure my partner who was vegan had suitable meals. As a wheelchair user they provided an adapted room which was of a great standard and added ramps to make sure I could get around the hotel. We loved it and would definitely comeback for a quiet and restful stay.

We liked our stay here! It is a small and beautiful hotel, very nice staff, smells amazing and is very clean. The pool area, spa and beach were great as well - there is a free snorkeling trip you can sign up for at the water sport booth. The breakfast was amazing, 10/10! We would highly recommend to include this in your booking. There was also some things we did not like as much. We would have liked to do some water sports (sailing, windsurfing) - but they stopped offering this Post covid. We booked the 'breakfast only' option because we had read about the restaurant being not the best. We tried it for both Lunch and Dinner. It was not bad food, but for the price you pay it was also not great - we did not like it as much. It did not feel like a good option so we mostly went out for dinner (better food and prices), but without our rental car this would not have been possible.

Had the utmost pleasure to experience this magnificent Hotel. I have been to a few hotels before, but nothing like this. The setting is amazing. Truly 5-star in every regard! Upon arrival you might not expect it when you see the architecture, which is Greek-inspired to a degree, not the most modern-looking seen from outside, but donā€™t be fooled, it takes only a few moments for this place to start stealing your heart, from the very first second, even before you step inside. You are greeted with a complimentary drink, and the amazingly friendly staff, which are so kind and accommodating, yet not overwhelmingly so, which is perfect. The staff really seem to enjoy pleasing you as a guest, this made me feel very special indeed. Every single member of staff I encountered was great - well done to all! I want to mention names, but that would be unfair, as they were ALL fantastic Then we get to the amazing amenities, the heated pool (I spent hours in there), plus many others such as snorkelling, boat rides, kayaking, paddle boats, yoga to name just a fewā€¦.and they are all included! I felt so comfy I never even got to make use of the spa (although this I think is extra). Next up the food, definitely the best breakfast selection I have ever had!Wide variety of fruits, breads, baguettes, pastries, jams, juices, oats and grains, coffees, teas, you name it, they had it - and everything so beautifully fresh, I wont lie, I overdid it one or two times, but I donā€™t regret it for a second! You donā€™t get to experience paradise everyday, do you?šŸ˜ƒ Lunch and dinner was exceptional as well, had the best Mauritian Chicken Curry for dinner - twice! I arrived in Mauritius 10 days before my stay, and had a few curries over that period of time, but this curry was BY FAR the best I had experienced on the island. Compliments to the amazing chefs in the kitchen! Lastly the rooms, upon arrival, the music was set up already to set the mood, with the A/C running to make me as comfortable as possible as soon as I walked in!This should show you the level of detail they focus on. The body wash and shampoos were top notch, with the most divine fragrance you can image, like citrus and lemon respectively. The lighting in the room, from very bright to very subtle to suit every mood. Rooms might seem somewhat compact initially, but you adapt so quick that soon you realise anything more is just unnecessary. Even great reading material in case you forgot your own, including some good local tourism guides to help you along in case you need some ideas of where to explore. The most comfy bed ever!Hurts me to say this but even more comfy than mine back at home, I have never ever been able to say that! No Tv might seem odd, but this definitely promotes one to be outdoors and enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer - good jobšŸ‘ I canā€™t express enough how nice my stay was. There is absolutely no doubt that I will return to SALT of Palmar, next time I come to visit this amazing island. Kudos to each and every one that made this stay so unforgettable. 6-star rating in my books! You deserve it! āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

We have been staying at SALT for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Everything was to it's perfection. It was totally a different experience. Salt resort is filled with so much of serenity which was badly needed. We really enjoyed this getaway; where it gave us a chance to spend more time together and be away from our normal work routine. The food was simply Succulent, the chicken masala was full of flavour and the grill fish was also to perfection! I would also thanked Executive Chef Nitish for helping to choose our menu. Their staff too gave us a warm welcome and really took great care of us! Without forgetting I would like to thanked the whole of team of SALT. I would love to go back again and spend a wonderful time with my family! See you again SALT Teams.

Very good experience with nice seaview pool entrance. As an Ontarian from Guelph, great holiday experience; I wish I could stay in the wonderful turquoise lagoon indefinite...really miss that!!!! A piece of feedback would be to introduce more Mauritian cuisine in their menu rather than fusion. I travelled to Mauritius to make the most of its delicious food rather than eating something I used to daily. The staff was so welcoming and humble. Will come again!

Amazing stay at Salt of Palmar. The place is lovely, decorated with great taste. Super well managed, the room is cleaned twice a day, the staff is absolutely charming and always so arranging and available. They adopt a local & eco responsible approach. The food is amazing: almost everything is locally sourced, homemade, there is a real fresh bakery. We had the best breakfast ever every mornings (avocado toasts, smoothie bowls, fresh omelettes & cakesā€¦). Weā€™ll be back for sure!

What a beautiful stay! The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff is incredibly polite. The eating experience is really one of a kind. Best hotel Iā€™ve ever stayed in! Rooms are lovely and modern and very clean! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Rita has always been around to top up my glass during lunch and make great menu suggestions! Med the manager always welcomes you with a smile! Loic makes amazing cocktails in the roof top bar in the evening and loves making up his own cocktails! The best thing about this hotel has to be the food! World class standard! Everything tastes amazing and is so fresh! Canā€™t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved Salt, the caring and attentiveness of the staff was absolutely superb. The room was so nice and so was the sea view, the furnishings and amenities were great and it smelt amazing 24/7. The spa was lovely, the massage and Himalayan salt room was šŸ¤ŒšŸ¼. Pool was slightly heated which was actually perfect in the Mauritian winter. Design of the hotel is really nice. Would 100% stay here again, but the only thing to note is if you are room only / half board is the restaurant and drink prices - it was the most expensive place we visited on the island and we stayed in the North, east, south and west. Quality of the food is really good, but prices are unjustified in my opinion.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful beach. Excellent customer service. Lovely chef Gigi and bartenders are great. Room bang on the beach is beautiful. Super windy but still so lovely. Nice ā€œtechā€ concept with communication through the app. Theyā€™ve got loads of free activities too. Eco friendly with really nice soaps and products in the room. Reasonable price for the room. Food a little on the high end but understandable as it is nice and hotel standard.

We loved our stay in Salt! The room was amazing: From our bed, we could look out into the sea and hear the waves, and the coffee in the room was really good. The food was great, especially breakfast was fantastic, both the pastries and the cooked dishes! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, both in the reception and the restaurant/bar. One of the bartenders called Akshay helped us select some local rums to try and even let us try some of his own spiced rum. We also got to decorate a cake as a honeymoon special which was a fun experience (and we got to eat the cake afterwards - yum! :).

Itā€™s a lovely hotel, echo other positive reviews! But here is what I wished I had known before staying 2 weeks: the food and drinks are totally overpriced. Donā€™t stay here longer than a few days as the food menu gets repetitive. You need a car to go to other restaurants and there are not enough sun loungers for the number of guests if you are hoping for a full day in the sun.

Wow, one of the best hotels I have ever been in! First and above all is the service which characterize all the hotel employees and management. The hotel concept is unique and you can feel it from the first moment you step in. Perfect for couples and amazing for honeymoon, 5 out of 5 definitely!

This hotel is fabulous. Lovely staff, lots to do, super comfortable bed, delicious food, welcoming pool and brilliantly located. Although youā€™ve got to be quick to grab a sun lounger, I was always well looked after. Shoutout to the wonderful woman who welcomed us at check-in and made us feel special every day. Weā€™ll definitely think about coming back again.

Good service, pleasant people. Instagrammable hotel that will seduce the younger generation and the wave of healthy eating- avocado toasts, aƧai bowls and what not. All in all, well crafted marketing strategy with the interior decor to match. Let's not forget this is however a renovated hotel, and not a new one. No tvs in the rooms and that's okay. The sunrise makes up for it. Totally. The pool is heated while being a little too out in the open. Spa is a little on the high side in all honesty, so brace yourselves for that one.

We have just returned from staying at Salt of Palmar. It's an exquisite boutique hotel . Our room had a wonderful aspect overlooking the sea. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Staff are first rate polite friendly and a joy. Food is very good clean fresh and tasty. One major negative is the cost of alcohol if your not all inclusive its ridiculous and quite frankly we just didn't drink when there so a great health kick inadvertently. Lastly and less so an issue its annoying to be asked for in our case a deposit of 30000 rupees on arrival I've never experienced it before,I understand swiping card on arrival.
