I have come to this hotel to take some time off and relax during the holidays, and i could not be more satisfied with this hotel. The price was very affordable, check in was quick and easy, my family and I got access to our rooms only minutes after checking in, and were at ease almost immediately. The Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffet has a myriad of different meal options as well. The majority of food caters to all people, such as vegetarians or athletes, as the food is very healthy and diverse. The beach was very calm, there are many marine activities and seats and cabanas to relax and chill. There are also many hotel activities at different scheduled times, and also many freebies and services. There are also many utilities such as bars, a gym, three restaurants and more. I was very glad with the staff, they are very polite and friendly, and are very good people. The room service was amazing, and all appliances were working. I am extraordinarily pleased with my experience here, and i will most probably come here again. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

5 star service from a 4 star advertised hotel.What a wonderful stay. Came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary- nothing too much trouble, treated us to a sumptuous 4 course meal and laid out a celebratory message of leaves. The food was incredible, choice and standard, all inclusive as were the drinks. The room spacious and comfortable, if a little odd shape, and the view from our terrace stunning. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Could go on and on, just go for it, you won't regret it.

Apart from the room, which i found a bit small, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is so beautiful and very safe. The food is nice and a warm thanks to the staffs who were very friendly through out our stay!

Amazing hotel we stayed at for our honeymoon. The people who work there are incredible and genuinely want to make your stay the best it could be. We loved our stay. The hotel is perfectly placed, there are plenty of things to do and the beach is right on your doorstep. Rooms are lovely but could do with some updating. Food and restaurants are incredible.

Beautiful hotel with a very good location. Gorgeous beach with nice lagoon to do plenty of water activities. Staff is very kind and helpful. Mr France made our stay truly amazing with his help, kindness and a pleasant conversation whenever we met. Mrs Ursule was a gracious host in Indigo restaurant, always making us feel welcome. Will surely visit again in the future.

Visited the hotel for a team building activity and day package. For the team building offer I would suggest maybe some new type of activities, not the usual ones. But still, idk what package our employer booked. Now for the place itself. The most striking feature is the calmness 💯 and following that is the hospitality 👌✨ Truth is that locals are usually not treated the same as tourist in hotels. Considering we were there for the team building activity and being locals, here this didn't change a thing from the way the staffs treated us 💯 10/10 As for buffet menu, we had a large variety of good food available but many of us thought that there is room for improvement. Good experience overall 👌

Just returned from a 14 night stay with you. What can I say? Your staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, the room was very spacious and cleanliness was maintained to a high standard. The hotel area and gardens were kept to perfection. We loved staying with you and would recommend your hotel. A big thank you to the staff who worked tirelessly on the beach in the heat. We enjoyed the amazing selection of food. Yes, there were a couple of things that could be improved on but they did not spoil our enjoyment. We hope to visit you again.

My wife and myself had a very nice time on a day package at the hotel. The setting is incredible. There are nice spots for doing pictures and selfies. Allen from the reception was very welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Joanna very helpful and friendly ladies. We had a nice lunch and the staff was amicable and ready to help. Absolutely stunning location! We went for long morning walks along the beach and Ambre definitely has the cleanest and best beach. Multiple options of food, ingredients from the island and it’s so fresh!! We are vegetarians and still multiple delicious food options. Lovely entertainment and the teams are the friendliest people you probably ever meet. We can’t recommend enough! Thank you for everything!

A all-round great all inclusive adults only hotel experience. Our garden facing room wasn't great and the stairs need a clean. Besides that, the service from all the the staff was amazing.The Beach and location is one of the best I've been to on the island. Food selection for all meals was great. Highly recommend.

Stayed at Ambre for 1 night (Saturday to Sunday). Had a wonderful and relaxing time at the resort. The staff is wonderful, big thanks to Naomi and Reyad who did their best to accommodate my elderly parents. The food is great, the buffet has good variety and for those with dietary restrictions, pork products were kept separate and well labeled. The beach area is amazing, its clean and pristine looking, perfect for swimming! The hotel has a nice lounge area by the pool with ample space to chill. Will definitely visit again!

I cannot rave about this hotel enough! The staff were attentive, efficient and so friendly! Anything you needed they were happy to provide. The food was AMAZING! The entertainment was AMAZING! Everything was clean and modern. I had a beautiful view of the sea from my room, beautiful views all around really. If you are heading to Mauritius (without the kids) I highly recommend Ambre; you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time at the Ambre Resort. The food was exceptional. I really enjoyed the sushi, the fish was really fresh. The service was marvellous, a big shout out to all the restaurant staffs such as Deena among others for being courteous and attentive. The view was beautiful we had the opportunity to see a ice carving presentation by the chefs.

The hotel is in a quiet environment, ideal for a romantic trip. The food in the main restaurant is varied, tasty and excellent. In the restaurant on the beach, however, the choice is small and the same every day. The beach is beautiful, sandy sand, but it seems to me that there are not enough sunbeds, so you have to get there early in order to get a good spot. The same applies to the swimming pool, which by the way is very large, beautiful and with a fantastic view of the ocean. Also, we are very satisfied with the spa center, where we tried several massages.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Could not believe what was included absolutely brilliant. Beach bar and three restaurants . And because it was our anniversary they booked us into beach restaurant. There was a local man who offered excursions which are Excellent value. Especially the dolphin and beach Barbecue' might of rained but didn't matter

Great stay ! Whilst rook require some work, the rest is fabulous. Service is the best I’ve had on any hotel on the island…Regardless of price…people like Nikhil, Nicolette and France (to name a few) are super friendly and welcoming. Just makes you want to come back !

The lunch buffet was one of a kind. The sous chef welcomed us, listed the menu of the day and helped us find our way around the buffet choices. Once you are seated, the waiter will graciously attend to your drink request. No rush or feelings that the staff wants the job to be done quickly. Rather you find yourself in an atmosphere where they want to help you with your experience and delightfully so. I will definitely be back.

Went there for a family gathering in one of their conference room. We had afternoon snacks and diner. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff were great and helpful. I did not stay overnight and I did not use the main restaurant. From my experience, they are highly recommended.

Great hotel with amazing beach. In my opinion it is one of the best beaches on island. Not so crowded with sun beds. Food is like in every hotel - average. Rooms could be little bit modern but for this price it is ok 👌 Recommend but don’t expect high level. It’s fair hotel with great service.

Beautiful place! Room is huge, very clean & fridge well stocked, (could do with a few more hangers). All the staff are amazing lovely friendly people, polite, helpful, attentive. The pools are big & very clean, poolside have plenty of beds & umbrellas & the beach is literally down the steps from the pool. The spa has lovely staff, had an amazing massage (highly recommend). There are plenty of restaurants & bars to choose from. Definitely have no complaints at all about this hotel!!

Overall a very nice hotel located at the most beautiful part of the island. Bartenders need a cocktail workshop. Orders the same drink everyday and it was never the same. Rooms need an update. Big but not very cosy. Bathroom was very nice. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Always smiling. Would and will come back 😊

If you’re looking for a breathtaking place with staff that treat you like family then Ambre Hotel is the place to be! Covid 19 protocols are followed and their hygiene standards are very impressive. They also have a wide variety at their buffet which is all so delicious and fresh. You also get a lot of attention from many of the staff members such as Ravi and Joanna who is very attentive of all the guests. One who really makes you feel at home is Joanna, she’s very informative, friendly and helpful. All in all I can honestly say that this is a perfect example of what Mauritius calls paradise. During our all-inclusive holiday booked through British Airways, our initial impression of the hotel was positive with its expansive pool and lush surroundings. However, the culinary experience turned out to be a major disappointment. On the second day, we encountered food poisoning, limiting our choices to fruits, particularly enjoying the delightful pineapples the hotel didn't prepare. Unfortunately, the overall quality of food and services was awful, leading us to seek meals at neighboring hotels like Belle Mare and Salt of Palmar. Additionally, the hotel's taxi service proved untrustworthy, providing a different rate at the hotel than what the driver demanded upon boarding. When we objected, the driver left us stranded in an unfamiliar location. Furthermore, despite being advertised as all-inclusive, the hotel had separate pricing for various foods and drinks, all of which were unsatisfactory in taste. The promised birthday cake turned out to be inedible – a deceptive creation made of bread and covered with cream. I strongly advise against booking a stay at Ambre. Consider neighboring hotels for a slightly higher price, as our experiences at Belle Mare and Salt of Palmar showcased impeccable service from managers and staff. Thank you Belle Mare and Salt of Palmar.

had a wonderful holiday at the Ambre hotel. with a room upgrade and a welcome drink from the manager. the room was spacious with a sea view and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff is service-oriented and asks day and night if there is anything they can do for you. the food may not be as varied as at home, but there is plenty of choice. and if you don't feel like the buffet, there are 2 other restaurants to choose from. the location of the hotel is unique, when it rains elsewhere on the island, the sun shines at Ambre. It is best to book excursions with Chris from Papa's Dream Tours, for the 5 islands tour. you must have experienced this. for us the best holiday in a long time despite the cyclone we had to deal with. but this was also resolved well by Ambre's staff.
