Bubble Lodge “Amazing experience on an Ile aux Cerfs Island” Likes: we stayed in Banyan Bubble - it’s not on the beach but amazing huge tree! Highly recommend! Very attentive personnel- all guys are loving what they do. All very very good - ideal hideaway for a couple of days! Dislikes: none. Just there is nothing much to do if you stay longer than 2-3 days. Only if you are a golfer - can stay forever ♾

Went there in Jan 2023. Overall it’s been a bad experience, the price they ask is absolutely out of market standards considering the offering. I don’t suggest going there. You don’t feel to be a guest during your stay, but rather to be someone disturbing golf players. I detail my review below. Sleeping in the bubble is a remarkable experience, but everything else is not worth the high price. Particularly: - Staff is extremely unprofessional, they behave like they’re following protocols rather than being welcoming towards guests; - Asked to order for the dinner upon arrival in the afternoon; - Dinner has been a terrible experience: the food was incredibly heavy; cocktails on the menu weren’t available; they served food so fast, it seemed they only wanted to go sleep asap; the atmosphere was so poor; they insisted to remark that only one bottle of water was included in the dinner (we paid €570 per night…) - Breakfast was again incredibly heavy and with a very limited choice of food (no buffet); inappropriate and loud music; - You can only go to the bubble with a caddy, and always have to wait 10/15 minutes before someone takes you to the bubble; - Not hot water in the bubble; - The bubble doesn’t close completely in the night, so you need to sleep with an eye mask, otherwise, you start having light at 5 am) - The beach is not well kept (old furniture, very low service level). Moreover, is not more special than any other beach you can find in Mauritius.

Set your expectations correctly. You're staying in a glorified tent basically, so don't expect too much. Also the place is a golf resort, so don't expect the same services as a normal resort. The island does get crowded at times, but not overly. However, be aware, the private beach is for guests of the bubbles and many nearby hotels on the mainland, so not that private. Location is great though.

Beautiful Tidal Lake Lodge. We were three adults and stayed for two nights. It is the farthest lodge on the island, a two minute walk to the private beach 🏝 The staff is super friendly and accommodating, our butler Mukesh was super accommodating and pops up whenever we call. The lodge gets a bit too hot mid-day but bearable. The toilet has an installed bidet WHICH 👏🏻 IS 👏🏻 WONDERFUL 👏🏻

Jan 2022 We recently stayed for 8 nights at the Bubble Lodge, and had the opportunity to try 3 of the 4 bubbles: Lake & Sea view (2 nights), Ocean view (3 nights) and Eco Lodge (3 nights). Just missed out on the Banyan for this time. Great experience. Being a golfer, it was on my bucket list. Amazing feeling, especially early morning and late afternoon to have the island for yourself. The whole staff is just wonderful: Our butlers, the Club House & kitchen staff taking care of us at breakfast and dinner, the team at the beach bar for they day caring, the golf club team members. Just AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We loved the food and variety proposed, Mauritian food & curries being central. Also, quite easy to go and visit the Island from there and return to a quite heaven after that (we rented a car from Yash for a day (Yash Car rental Mauritius – trou d’eau douce)) and were able to visit some “must do’s” from there. Would we recommend it? Definitely. For 1 or 2 nights, and also for a whole week if you ask us! Blessed to have come across this address and grateful to have spend some days with this amazing team

Chef Ravish varoon and Nitish were really amazing and prepared the best dinner on the beach for us. it was an AMAZING experience and we really couldn't ask for a better team!

Amazing experience to enjoy the nature and the tranquility of the island. We slept in the forest bubble and it was amazing. We were sorrounded by the birds and we enjoyed some desert beaches that could be reached form that lodge passing through the golf trails.

Wonderful staff who looked after my friend and I so well! Comfortable rooms, with a unique design (glass roof so you can see the starts at night from bed). A personal butler will pick you up to ferry you around the island. And there was a built in golf lesson, which was a lot of fun for me, given that I’ve never played golf before!

Really friendly, delicious food, can see the breathtaking scenery around ! Also, Sam and all the team of Bubble lodge is friendly made my day

Very enjoyable experience. The crew were all very nice and polite. The bubbles could use a fan during summer months, but not totally unbearable. We will be back!

I lovely experience in the bubble in the night But I came in the wrong season must to try on the rainy season would be the best. The food was so delicious

We can highly recommend this place. Beside the Bubble Lodge, we had the romantic dinner at the beach with Nitish and Chef Ravish. And this experience was really out of this world! So far, this was the best food experience we had. This evening made our stay here at the island unique. It was a wonderful, romantic and extraordinary night. We enjoyed every second. Thank you very much for everything. We hope to come back one day.

Buble lodge set on private island with beautiful golf course,lovely beaches that can get busy during the day as day trippers flock to the island for the day,staying in the bubble was an experience ,we had beach bubble which had a privacy gate ( electric),the food at the hotel was ok but felt slightly rushed on arrival to make mind up for food that evening.the actual grounds of our bubble had broken fences to the side of us which we felt a little exposed,and when all the day trippers had gone all you could see all night was the security guards torches shining throughout the night,overall a good experience.

I have booked this stunning place for one night in May but due to Corona issues we weren‘t able to travel. For about four month I am now trying to get in touch with the staff because of a refund. I have been patiently waiting for an answer or refund but unfortunately I am only getting put off! We were so looking forward to book this place at another time but are now just frustrated by their attitude.

Great experience and amaizing scenery. It is like 5 stars camping with a private beach. The best bubble by far is the lake bubble. You got to have your own private lake the ocean is few steps away. By about 4:30 pm, all visitors usually leaves the island and we have it all to our selves. We were lucky that it was full moon at night but a bit cloudy. We liked the food and we had a romantic dinner set up next to the club house there, and it was amazing. We were lucky to also try the banian tree bubble. The bubble is surrounded by tall trees and there is a private yard with a swing chair and a round table and chairs. Great nature in the morning and a litte spooky at night. The public beach is beautiful and there are lots of activities. Finally, the staff and the service are great. You get to have your own butler, who will take you around the island at your request. We had a great memorable experience there.

It’s a great experience staying at the bubble surrounded by nature with full privacy

Absolutely unique place to visit. In the morning and evening, you get to enjoy a completely private beach. Enjoy the sunrise, sitting in the ocean with no sounds but the birds. Staff is absolutely amazing here. I proposed to my girlfriend here and they went the extra mile to make it an unforgettable night. Special shoutout to Kevy who made it happen together with Mukesh, Nithin and Francois who took great care of us.

We had a nice stay - but don’t expect to much. It’s basically a golf club with a few bubbles to sleep. Therefore there are no services like in a typical Resort on Mauritius. The food was really mediocre.
