Very bad experience during our stay. Poor hygiene. Very dusty. We had bad allergic reactions and insects bites. There was no hot water. We had to leave the place after one day. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

The villas are located on the eastern coast of the island, about 1 hour drive from the airport or from the main central towns. The villa is by the beach, however, being on the eastern coast, the beach is far from being the best. The weather also tends to be on the raw side, especially in winter. We booked the villa for July 2018. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager Jean Michel. The villa is spacious, it was more than enough for our gang of 5 adults and 2 kids. However, there are a few issues with the villa: - It is very dusty to the point that we were having allergies. The villa manager did his best to get it scoured. This prevented us from enjoying the villa for a few hours on day 2 and did not remedy the situation since the curtains and mats were not done. - The roof leaks near the dining table! - Insects are everywhere, including on bedding - The hot water system wasn’t working. We were told to wait until the water gets to 60 degC to have a shower but it never made it to 30degC. We booked the villa for 5 days. We could not stay more than 2 days over there with that level of service. The owner, Alexandre Hardy, tends to be rude and arrogant once he has been paid and things are not working well for the customer. He will hide behind a ‘no refund policy’ and encourage the tenants to vacate without a refund. Luckily, we successfully got our bank to reverse the transaction at Stylia’s expense.

Amazing Villas with direct access to the beach. Friendly team which solved any request within no time. Villas cleaned daily, little towel sculptures are a nice detail. We can’t recommend enough.

The villas are horrible in a bad area of Mauritius don’t stay here if you are looking for clean professional place. Gaby is disrespectful and rude. Do not stay here if you want to relax

The location is exceptional. The villas are very comfortable, but above all, it's the incredible level of service that makes the difference!

Where do I begin? Had the most fantastic stay at Stylia Villas. I am really shocked to read all these bad reviews - they must be fake and dishonest because my husband and I cannot relate even a bit. We stayed the Beachfront Pool Villa. It was absolutely stunning and the views - Oh My God. It is a very well maintained property. Neat and clean with nice furniture. The pool is cleaned every other day and they offer housekeeping services every day as in like any other luxury resorts. The rates of this villa is very affordable too! Believe me, we have stayed at top luxury hotels all over the world with rates like $3000 per night and we have high expectations. And Stylia Villas did not disappoint us a bit. The beach is beautiful and feels private as you can barely find people in front of you! You literally feel like you have the beach to yourself. But what we enjoyed the most is their impeccable service - we found the service at Stylia Villas better than a luxury resort we stayed at the second half of our Mauritius Trip (Shanti Maurice - we booked one of their Beachfront luxury pool villas and received okayish service while the staff at Stylia Villas was just AMAZING). Alex (the owner) welcomes us upon check in and explained us all the details. He is so nice, warm and friendly. He introduced us to the villa manager Gabby, chef Rishi and butler Ravi. They’re all brilliant and fantastic men. They became family and we started missing them the moment we had to leave the property - especially chef Rishi and Ravi. Ravi is a sweetheart. As like the rest of the staff of the property, Ravi understands customer service. Every single person of Alex’s team is well trained and knows how to treat their customers. We loved being around them and wish we could have stayed for longer. We emailed Alex a couple of times regarding a lot of inquiries before we reached Mauritius and he got back to us patiently and with detailed and informative replies and on time. Very professional. Alex can book tours for you too if interested. The food at the villa was just amazing! Chef Rishi is fantastic. My husband planned a surprise BBQ dinner at our villa with Ravi and Rishi and it was the sweetest thing ever. Ravi very nicely decorated our table with flowers and swans made out of towels - so adorable and thoughtful. And our bed was decorated with roses. It was such a sweet surprise. And the food as usual was just phenomenal! We loved the BBQ dinner a lot . And believe me, the food prices are actually very affordable and not over priced at all. Trust me! Alex even gave us a phone with a local number to make our stay easier. We got in touch with Gabby the villa manager, Rishi and Ravi and Alex whenever we needed - even when we were touring. The phone really helped us a lot. We didn’t even have to pay for it. It was on the house. We used it for all our local calls. I can go on and on and on about Stylia Villas. Please don’t let the bad reviews affect you. They are definitely not true. I just can’t believe them. It’s a 5 star property and the entire team is dedicated to making sure that the customers are very happy at the property. Thank you Alex, Gabby, Rishi and Ravi. Ravi, we miss you the most. You’re such a great and incredible man. Thank you for being so kind, loving and welcoming. Thank you Stylia Villas.
