Location location location.. it's on the East of the country Island, one of the best beach sights with clear waters of the lagoon. Lots of sea life to observe. Many water sports on offer with snorkeling. The layout of the hotel is good, well maintained, rooms are spacious and cleaned well. Very good hospitality and warm & friendly staff. The foods on offer is good with variety showcasing the diverse culture of Mauritius, The Green Island.

We went for 17 days and we had a great time! The size of the resort is good, not too big, not too small. Rooms are great, but the food was the main highlight, especially the deserts in the main restaurant and the rouge restaurant near the beach. Also, the burgers at the T-Bar were really good. One recommendation. If you go there, I would recommend you to get water shoes, as there are some small sharp stones in the water.

We got married at Lux Belle Mare and i can say it was the best experience. Our lovely wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was amazing 🤩 The wedding preparation and ceremony were stress free thanks to Jennifer. The stay at the hotel was one of the best with very friendly staff and one of the best buffets in a 5 star hotel. The room we stayed was very spacious with a walk in wardrobe but it seemed a bit old and the bathroom definitely in need of an update but still an enjoyable stay. The pillows and the mattress were the best we ever had in a hotel. The spa area is great and we had a very relaxing massage. I think this is a good place for children too as the beach is huge and the water calm . The swimming pool has different levels of depths with a lit of it on the shallow side . The staff is the friendliest i ever seen in a hotel and genuine nice and helpful. Food is great in restaurants but dinners at the buffet are the best and different each evening. Overall a great wedding holiday.

One of the best holiday's ever, the hotel and staff were outstanding. The food quality was 10/10. The room was cleaned very very well everyday with disturbing us. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a 10/10 holiday.

Very beautiful resort. Very clean and the rooms are cozy and nice. The resort is big and there are different types of rooms for sure. It’s calm especially at night. There are some water activities and some of them for free. The beach is beautiful but it depends on what time of the year. I went in June it was ok. I think in summer it will be better. June is winter there. They clean the room 2 times a day and they care about your stay and being happy and comfortable. I strongly suggest this place to anyone going to Mauritius. the food at the resort was ok but not the best. I took bed and breakfast because I like to try different food out of the resort. And that’s the best thing I did.

We has the most amazing time at Lux Belle Mare. My boyfriend took me here for my 25th birthday in June 2022 and it was the most memorable trip. From the minute we arrived, we could not believe the most wholesome treatment we received. The staff really make the place what it is and deserve every piece of recognition. The most humble hospitality, it was beyond what we could imagine. If we could list every staff member we truly would! But special shout out to Elvis, Bilal, Oliver, Sahil, Mohan, Beedyasee, Vikash, Ravin and especially Veena and Jennifer! The staff did all they could to make my birthday celebrations extra special by organising a birthday breakfast and cocktail making, and a stunning dinner at Amari. The rooms are stunning, the beaches are stunning. Beautiful water and white clean sand! Plenty of choice for food and the versatility of the buffet is the best you will have. We will DEFINITELY be back one day!!

Stayed at Lux Belle Mare for 7 nights. Fantastic hotel, staff, customer service, restaurants, amenities and the beach is remarkable. The hotel is luxury, newly built and has a refreshing feeling to it. Would strongly recommend.

Cockroaches ,Although the hotel is nice, it is no where near the standard of other Lux properties that we have stayed in and very much enjoyed. Please don’t be fooled. Our experience was totally spoilt not just by the 3 cockroaches found in our room but by the complete lack of any management to deal with the situation. After finding the 1st cockroach we informed reception who sent two maid with a broom… we then found and captured a second cockroach we informed reception, apparently our room was cleaned but we weren’t informed of anything we just received a bottle of sparkling wine as a sorry. After finding and capturing a 3rd cockroach we assumed there must be an infestation. We were again told the room would be cleaned. We didn’t demand to be moved but said we would be uncomfortable staying in this room with an obvious infestation. We returned to our room at the end of the day to find the cockroach still under the glass as we had left it at breakfast when we informed reception. No one came to find us, e mail or called us to let us know what was happening. We were eventually moved to another room in the same block for our last night. This on top of many other sub standard issues that were reported to management, who offered us 2 nights refund to compensate for our 4 nights spent in a room infested with Cockroaches. I was planning to book this hotel and contacted them twice with queries I had before making the reservation. They never bothered to even acknowledge or reply to my messages. I’ve now booked with another hotel instead. If Lux Belle Mare put so little effort into providing good customer service before you’ve booked with them, then I don’t want to see the poor level of service they’d offer during a stay.

The hotel has just recently reopened, and it looks amazing, although you can tell they are still working on it. Some minor issues arise, which are normal in brand new rooms and facilities. Soon it will look even better. The first impression was not good. We had a bad check in experience: the assigned room was not the correct one, and the person who assisted us at first was not very well informed about the hotel, facilities or restaurant opening hours. However, when we explained these issues to the management, they were promptly solved and actions taken. All personnel, without exception, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to Rajesh at the Concierge Desk, Praveen at the Reception and Mr. Hecker, the Director, for all their help. The person at the Villas´ area of the beach (I´m sorry I don´t remember his name!) is absolutely exceptional and made our stay even better, always kind and attentive. Very special thanks to him. The same applies to the butlers and the villa manager. The beach is probably one of the best in Mauritius (if not the best). Food is very good, we didn´t try the Chinese, but the other restaurants have a very high food quality. I recommend the All Inclusive package, which includes everything except for the Indian and Chinese restaurants, although you´d receive a 30% discount on them. The main (and only) pool is very large, heated and beautiful. You can rest, swim or do whatever you want. If you travel with kids they will enjoy it very much, while not disturbing solo travelers or couples without kids as there is space enough for everyone. The hotel offers a large number of "pop ups and surprises" and there is an experience for everyone. They also offer a wide range of excursions, both private and in group, which we can recommend. They are not cheap, but absolutely worth the money! If you can afford it, take a villa! They are all absolutely amazing. We will certainly come back as soon as we can! Good place to spend some quality time and have great experiences no doubts , BUT one thing I observed was how many times my partner and I got very uncomfortable when we are in a space with many ‘whites people’. Apparently We were the only black guest during our stay and it wasn’t a good experience for us all. First, We couldn’t use the pool due to how we were being looked at, we got to the ice cream place and the people there had to move far away from us. And then at the spar, the lady suggested that i sit in different room apart from the reception where other people were being received and seated with no genuine excuses, but I guess they wanted to attend to their most important guests first, so I sat there for about 2 hrs before I was brought in back when everyone had left only to be told again that I’ll not be having a massage and the pedicure because I didn’t inform them earlier so I had only my fingernails done . The whole experience was too uncomfortable that we got really worried and had to leave. Sadly that was my first time in Mauritius and might be my last. Lux Belle mare gave me a totally bad impression about the country. Belle mare is a nice place with beautiful rooms and clean environment but I wouldn’t recommend it for a black person like me. Amazing experience at Sunrise, the staff are the most wonderful people, so kind, friendly and humble. The rooms and facilities are excellent and the food beautiful, with such a variety. Can't speak highly of the place and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

My parents stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and asked me to write a review for them. They had an awesome stay in the hotel, especially due to Jennifer, who made their time special. My parents don't speak English and she organized so much for them. For instance a wonderful photoshooting that I gave them as present. Jennifer was so friendly and helpful and made my parents feel at home.

Great place to chill with friends and family. One of the biggest swimming pools I've been to so far. Belle mare beach never disappoints with its silky sand and nice lagoon. Friendly staff and excellent service. Food at Beach Rouge restaurant was great. Very nice experience 🙂

My boyfriend and I had a truly amazing stay here. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were lovely and spacious. Food options were good as well, Amari the Indian restaurant was brilliant! We only stayed for a week but wish we could have stayed for longer, there was lots to do! Water sports, lots of excursions. The highlight of the holiday was the staff at the hotel, they always went above and beyond for you and made you feel like you were looked after really well. A truly luxurious experience!! We cannot thank you enough for our amazing stay and we would absolutely love to come back. I would recommend if you are going to Mauritius to stay here, there are no faults. :)

I can't say anything bad about this hotel. Room is spacious and clean. Cleaning service flawless. We are still here, we have never been disappointed about food. Evening themed buffet will meet the expectations even fussy eater like me. And the people... The staff is wonderful, very nice, polite, helpful. I have injured my toe and I could not be taken care of better with every member of staff willing to help me and assist with everything I need, like extra cushion to elevate my leg or fresh pack of ice every couple of hours, while I am relaxing by the pool. This is best holiday ever, not only because its my honeymoon but because this place is just perfect. Thank you xx

Amazing hotel, nice rooms, spectacular beach. Sunrise amazing! The staff are super friendly and attentive! There is a lot activities to enjoy! It caters for both adults and children. The spa facilities are amazing! The food is decent too. Lots of different choices. There is a theme night everyday. The pool is amazing! Can't feel the chlorine in your eyes. The beach and marine life within the lagoon is a one to experience.

Heaven. They will arrange anything for you if you pay for it. I had the most spectacular two day Birthday party. They also arranged the cooking of a whole local traditional pig. Which they paraded around the beach bar before all watching me attempt to eat it with a hangover. Ha. Duck Laundry is insane. India restaurant is ok. Entertainment good. Ask for a drunken turtle to drink. It's not on the menu. I recommend one at about 10am. Sets you right up for a day. The rum hut is also good. Had two convenient windows to throw our shots out of when nobody is looking. As you will otherwise end up unable to crawl. Nanny service the best. Suites awesome. Room service is fantastic. I don't have a bad word to say. I've been here a few times and would not stay anywhere else, other that their new resort in the Maldives.

Spent a wonderful night on the all inclusive package. The food is delicious as well as the drinks. The room is very spacious, modern and very comfortable. The service is very rapid and professional. My wife was even served with a nice birthday cake.

Yes the beach is lovely... Yes the food is exquisite... Yes the service is excellent... But above all the People have a sense of kindness and of simple love of serving others... And this makes a huge difference... If you want to have a dive of Mauritian Hospitality you need to stay at this Hotel.

Staying for 7 days here, a warm welcome, great experience of facilities and most of the all is the staff, housekeeping, waiters, concierge and overall. Swimming pool is a big plus. Food wise, seafood soup was superb and that piece of steak was juicy and soft. Overall food is very good and qualities. A visit again is a must.
