I
came
from
the
United
States
of
America
to
visit
some
relatives
here
in
Mauritius.
Unfortunately,
one
of
my
relatives
had
some
issues
with
internal
bleeding
and
was
heavily
passing
blood
rectally...
He
asked
me
to
help
him
get
to
Candos
Hospital
located
in
Quatre-Bornes...We
got
there
at
1030
am
on
the
29th
of
November,
and
the
nightmare
began!!!
My
relative
had
heart
by-passed
a
few
years
back
and
is
on
blood
thinners
medication...
but
the
treatment
he
received
at
that
hospital
from
check-in
time
until
he
was
finally
admitted
for
observation
was
nothing
but
an
egregious
nightmare!!!
I
would
like
to
describe
everything
step
by
step
in
detail
but
it'll
take
too
much
time
and
space.
Therefore,
I'm
just
gonna
skim
over
the
ordeal...
First
and
foremost,
the
medical
staff
are
extremely
rude!!!
A
Dr.
by
the
name
Aworgal
(In
Emergency
Ward)
was
screaming
at
my
relative
and
at
one
member
of
the
family.
What
happened
to
being
respectful
and
treating
patients
with
dignity?
I
guess
he
needs
to
go
work
in
a
prison
hospital
setting
instead.
Other
personnel
at
that
hospital
are
super
unprofessional
except
for
a
tiny
percentage
who
got
some
human
decency
at
least.
Which
made
me
wonder,
do
they
discriminate
against
certain
group
of
people
or
are
they
that
just
plain
idiots...
In
the
emergency
ward,
there
was
a
big
brown
bird
(is
it
part
of
medical
personnel?)
just
walking
around.
It's
the
most
disgusting
and
filthy
hospital
I've
ever
seen!!!!
We
checked
in
the
hospital
at
1030am
and
my
relative
didn't
get
a
room
until
7pm
that
day.
It's
such
a
substandard
hospital!!!
