They don't even deserve 1 star actually. It's a shame that the staffs are very unprofessional, they don't talk to you in a good way or even respect. The doctor doesn't know how to even read a blood report. The dermatologist told my mum that she has diabetes when she did not have such disease at all. This is ridiculous!! They need to work on a lot of things for this clinic to work good orelse they will have to close it down soon the way they are directing. I was so proud of having a clinic in my area, but when I experienced things there. I'm sorry to say but I was very disappointed. One thing I would like to tell people. Never believe all sort of doctors because they are care for themselves in the end they can give you only solutions not cure.....😐

Very bad service and no supplies (tissue paper, soap and towel) in patient's room. Not recommended to anyone.

They told me the test costs 2000 rupees including the charges to come to my hotel. When they did the test I was billed 3000 without any word of explanation. Book with a more reliable clinic like c-lab. These guys are awful!

This place is a total disgrace . A patient suffering stage 4 cancer had to wait 9 hours before getting the pet scan . She had a treatment that decent human being won’t give to an animal. When she was taken to a room to stick a canular in her veins firstly the nurse was bare handed no gloves!!! And on top of that used a rubber glove to tie her arm to squeeze the veins . When the nurse was asked if it was normal practice to use a rubber glove to strap her veins she replied that it was the way they do it … so what can I say … we’ll done aegle your level of “professionalism” is “world class” sadly you deserve less than one star rating .

Edit to add: Truth is important and needs to be said. After the bad experience described below, the treatment which followed, went without major hurdle. A big shout out to Dr Jayant, the team at the radiation section and Dr Peila Jeenathally. Dr Jayant and the radiation team have shown professionalism and compassion. Dr Peilah Jeenathally has been so kind and made the visits much easier. Her help was tremendous. She even organised to have medications which were badly needed to be dropped home at short notice. A big thank to all. Simple gestures make life more bearable. This clinic is an absolute disgrace. My sister went there for a PETSCAN on 15 august 2023. This was supposed to take two hours, she ended up waiting for 9 hours. Her last meal was at 6pm the day before. She recently had a surgery and was told by her doctor not to sit more than thirty minutes. At Aegle she was in a wheel chair from 14.30 to 17:30. She begged to lie down. She got nothing. No one cared. Due to her compromise health, the long fast brought her blood pressure to a dangerous low, she fainted and was admitted in ICU at Welkin. Honest advice to you all: Dont go there if you have other alternative

Are you looking for doctors that care? Medical attendants that value your well-being above all else. Or maybe you want to feel reassured with a quick ‘in and out’ visit? If you want either of those, this ISNT the clinic for you. Basically just come here if you want to die an excruciating, slow and painful death while the medics watch and wave from the sideline.

Impressed with my journey at Aegle Clinic. The radiology department is as best as you could get. Well done.

Do not waste your time going there. Money minded clinic. Doctor did not show up for appointment. very poor communication from staff. exorbitant doctor fees for petty diagnostics. A place to avoid unless you want to waste your money.

If you are planning to get vaccinated there,don't. The process is too slow,no sitting area, you will have to stabd in the sun for hours and basically extremely poor service.

Most ill-mannered and rude receptionist i have ever talked to. I have never came across people like this in any other clinic.

Visited them twice. First visit went great - quick, professional. Second visit was a disaster. The doctor did not show up, the nurse at the reception did not seem to be bothered at all, after all it was my money for the taxi any my health - not theirs. They also did not bother to call me to save me the trip. The nurse promised to me to reschedule the appointment and guess what - no one bothered to contact me since. Screw my health, right?

Poor service for vaccination. Start at 8.30 a.m waiting for a long queue for mostly 4 hours. A clinic should be fast.

It's all about money at this clinic, they will take your 80 years old father for surgery that is not even required because the person will die anyway. Money minded, greedy business...

Do not recommend anyone to do their booster dose over there. Paid them Rs300 for their poor service & mgt.

Best clinic in Mauritius. transferred my aged father from darné to aegle clinic, because their service were the worst treatment ever. At eagle clinic, their service is ace. Great and best doctors, very professional, very communicative, they share every information about the patient, helps you to understand problems and treatments to patient. They are very caring. Abysmal clinic. Service is utterly execrable, with rude and ineffective staff, doctors are condescending and disconcerting, let us not even mention their inability to communicate(be it in the form or simply the ability to speak a proper language); making threats and aggressive behaviour, with no regard for the patient. Doctors were also NOT in proper medical uniform. The entire "clinic" is unsanitary; dirt, mold on walls, unsafe plugs and rusted medical apparatus, dirty floors and curtains, lint and dirt in fans. Everyone was simply walking in and out of the operating room, creating heavy concern. We came here due to proximity for cause of an emergency, but the conditions here are shocking... cherry on the cake, this below mediocre service cost beyond an arm and a leg. The East coast and overall, Mauritius and its citizens deserve medical care that is up to par 🙏

Poor service. My husband and I are still waiting for a specialist report to be able to claim the insurance. After more that 10days we are losing hope.
