Went on the truck drive through seeing the lions living as a pride and the young tigers. Each of the prides or groups of tigers are rotated daily so they have more freedom in the outside enclosure . Our guide was very knowledgeable answering questions and was enthusiastic about his role.

Walking with lions is unique. I'll probably never be able to do something like that again. Lots of information about the animals and then being able to experience these animals up close. Incredible

Walking with the lions was an unforgettable experience!!!! Never thought that me and my family would literally be walking with two lionesses. Holding their tails, stroking and giving them a good scratch. The pictures that were taken are a must to have, there to look at forever for the whole family. Steve the guide and his two buddies were great at their job and made the walk and the run up to it very pleasurable. The cameraman got all the shots in that you would ever want and they are available when you get home to download and keep. Can't really recommend this highly enough I suppose, it's a once in a lifetime and if you are visiting the zoo, book this so you don't miss out

Since we arrived on a bus framed by an iron mesh, there was a feeling that it was us people who were taken to show the lions 🤣🙈 The trip to the fenced area itself takes only 20 minutes. More time is spent showing the ticket, signing documents, and boarding the bus.

Unforgettable experience. The caretakers are well trained. However, there are many lions. Your probability of getting pictures with the lions depends on the mood of the lions and your luck

We actually had a good time with the Cheetahs As the lions where fully booked at the time It is a nice and safe encounter if you take the proper precautions and follow the guide instructions. The two twin cheetahs come from Zimbabwe one is called Maasai like the tribe the other i forgot his name as he was actively roaming around

Seeing lions first hand like that without having to leave Mauritius..its amazing. You can feed the lions at an additional fee and the lions are not in cages, just a well-fenced area so they are free to roam around while at the same time keeping it safe for visitors.

Walking with lions was truly a once in a lifetime experience, it was so unique and intense. The direct presence and interactions with these glorious animals is mesmerizing and it kinda gives you this rush as you can feel this is real and the animals, although trained to respect, are still wild. That said, everything felt super safe the whole time, the handlers and our guide were great in all aspects, they were helpful and fun but also shared a lot of interesting facts about the animals, including some exciting real life demonstrations. The group was also joined by a professional photographer and the resulting photos were amazing. I really recommend this as it was one of the strongest and most unique experiences of our lives and a real highlight of our vacation. It is absolutely worth the money. You don't want to miss this. 🦁❤️🔝

Absolutely fantastic experience. Apparently, only one of 3 places in the world where you can walk with lions. It is very safe if you choose to listen to the very simple instructions given by the keepers!

It was a COVID time arround the world and the Casela zoo/park in the Mauritius was also very loosely filled with tourists.... The lion's were big and were well fed....you can have the top view look of the lion's habitats after climbing the top and getting the clear picture....
