Beautiful beach in the West, which is compared to the other beaches also really broad. There is no current, bot too much coral which makes it nice to get into the water.

I took a taxi for the day to explore Flic and Flac Beach. It was my first day in Mauritius and this made it memorable! I could relax and enjoy the ocean view. Variety of food stands available. Remember to bring cash because some of the stands do not have card facilities.

Awesome place to sit, relax and go for a swim. The sunsets here are incredible. There is ample parking space but it may get slightly crowded on the weekends. There are plenty of fashion and souvenir shops along with a supermarket near the beach.

Stunning beach for snorkelling. Booties are a must as coral is plentiful and sore on the feet. Wonderful for swimming too. Beach was popular and we found it safe enough to leave phones in our bags while we swam. Lots of food/drink options and close the bars and restaurants. Flic en flac is a beautiful little community!

Beautiful, long beach that is great at sunset. Often see families or groups gathering around with food and music, but there is still space for you to have peace due to the sheer length of the beach. Variety of food stalls available for a quick fix if needed. Pictures speak for themselves.

Fantastic place for swim, dive and water sports. You can snorkel nearby or go a little deep. We did pedal-boating and went aittle deep for snorkeling and it was a good experience.

This is the best public beach in West Mauritius. Even a full day is less to enjoy on this beach. It is easily reachable from Port Louis via Public transport. But after 6 pm the public transport is not much operational and tourists should plan accordingly. This is a very large beach and has several upscale restaurants and hotels across. It also has a portion full of trees for people who enjoy shade on the beach. You can get backrest for upto 100MUR on the beach for full day. Taking food and drinks on the beach is allowed and youll find several budget options from the beach stalls.

It's one of the best beaches if you enjoy long walks, specially to Tamarin and back... With a couple of public toilets nearby if or when needed, but bring your toilet paper with you at all times. Other than that, can be crowded due to popularity but still an all round great beach with clean white sand in the public areas...

Great spot for sundowners sunsets and swimming or snorkeling. Can get a bit crowded but generally you will find a spot to yourself. Finding car parking can get problematical on busy days. Can also get noisy. Lots of good street food and restaurant options.

Nice beach easy parking, the water is not crystal clear but could have been the time of the day. There were some places to get coconut and fresh fruit.

Great long stretch of coastline. Lots of space and great food options closer to town. The beach is quite corally, but you get used to it!

If you're looking for a beach to relax, this is it. Swimming and snorkeling, not so much, but you can. I got there early and found plenty of parking, I noticed even as the day progressed there was ample parking. I like that there was lots of food options available and very reasonably priced. As some have mentioned, investing in a pair of coral booties or beach shoes is a good idea, thought not entirely necessary. Have fun.

It was not always sunny, but it is one of the most beautiful beaches that the island has to offer. The place to be.

Really long stretch of beach with very beautiful views. Situated around Flic en Flac town, it’s got everything you need for a day out at the beach 🏖️ Some places are really good for snorkelling 🤿 Plenty of parking 🅿️ and street food vendors when you’re feeling peckish 😉

One of the largest public beaches on the island, rivalling those in South Africa. Lots of space to spread out and picnic all day. There are some food stalls, and there prices are lower than restaurants, but not “street vendor” prices. A great place to watch the sunset, and there are a few bars across the road where u can sit and enjoy a beer while the sun goes down.

As a beach.. tranquil, beautiful and everything a beach should be.. But absence of anything else nearby spoiled it... no amenities, no beach bar, no restaurants nearby. Quite disappointed really... All the amenities are owned and operated by the big multinational all inclusive resorts . Small public beaches simply cannot compete and the town dies..

Possibly the best beach in Mauritius, also popular for kitesurf and windsurf

Lovely beach vibe. The most happening place in Mauritius (comparatively). Would definitely recommend to stay around this beach.

Flic en Flac Beach is a popular tourist destination in Mauritius known for its pristine white sand and crystal clear waters. Visitors can enjoy a variety of water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving, and windsurfing. The beach also offers a range of restaurants and bars serving local cuisine and drinks. It is recommended to check weather conditions before planning a visit as cyclones can affect the area during certain times of the year.

This very long beach that might be a beautiful place if treated correctly. Because of its size, it's rarely crowded but the sand in less popular places is very dirty. Notice that the main entrance and big parking are not where the pin on Google points.

Flic En Flac Beach is located in the village with the same name in Mauritius. The beach is approximately one hour drive from Port Louis, where most of tourists stay in hotels. This is a sandy beach with beautiful landscape. Also, one can find many water sports/ activities here. A must visit beach in Mauritius.
