Extremely pleasing walk through nature for a little more than 2 hours. You get to see deer and a few bird species, with explanations from a guide about wildlife and the history of the place. Also one has the option to swim at one of the waterfalls.

Wanted to make the unesco hike but was not available. Instead, we took the two hour hike. Our guide was really nice but had to invest 50% of the time explaining in french and 50% in english for us. I understand it is difficult to make groups, but if everyone speaks english, it would allow more conversation and learning about the landscape, fauna and flora. The place is amazing.

Booked a guided buggy tour without having much expectation and came out of it absolutely blown away. The reserve is really huge and we drove through only a tiny bit of it. The drive was quite rocky and slippery and that's exactly what we should get out of this type of experience. A big thanks to Jerome our guide who has been fantastic and really shared the history of the reserve and region with us. I'm definitely coming back!

Despite the chilly water, this is a must. Recommendation: do not miss the waterfall and river swim!

We arrived on a day they have closed for training. Somehow they managed to arrange someone who would do the trip after the training. It was raining hard but we enjoyed the adventure. The guide was very welcoming and always had an eye on us. We saw some animals living on the premises along the way. Very nice and big compound. Got towels and had the chance to shower after the ride. Amazing time at the nature reserve with family. We did the quad/buggy tour..Pathway was bumpy, rocky and muddy at times..Our guide Akash was very nice, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to see some deers. We also stopped at a beautiful waterfall where we could sit and take some pictures.

I love this nature reserve. The staff is professional and kind, the food was great and the reserve itself is well maintained. We got to see deers quite close and the quads and buggies were real fun. I also like the background information provided by the guide.

Wow superb nature life

We did the quad bike and buggy tour and it was brilliant the scenery was stunning the guide was very good and we had plenty of time to swim in the waterfall. We personally felt that we would have liked another hour overal but it was still good value for money.

A very nice experience in the buggy. At one point in the trail (very long by the way, totally worth it) the is a fall in which it’s possibile to dive. It sums up to a very unique experience in the Mauritian jungle. Will return next time!

we had a good time at the nature reserve on a buggy tour. the path was technical, bumpy and rocky at times, and afforded some amazing views of the hills and gorges. our guide was very kind, informative (note, his French was much better than his English), and took some great photos for us. the best part was the unexpected (for us) stop at a small waterfall. so remember to bring your swimsuit! we didn't see much wildlife, but did see some local deer. the buggies/quad bikes were nice newer models. our only negative is that we never got to build up any speed. basically maxing out at 25km/h. Because you're in a caravan and they want you to stay within sight of the lead guide, you have to go slow. even on the flat sections it would have been fun to at least put the pedal to the metal for 2-3 seconds, but we weren't given the chance. so for a very leisurely, slow paced trek this is great. for a bit more adrenaline, you'll need to look elsewhere.
