Hygiene Check Failed This is one of the dirtiest, unhygienic and unhealthy McD outlets in Mauritius. Excuse of the manager is a lack of staff, which is unacceptable taking into consideration the health risks you are imposing the customers. The few staff present in the kitchen appears stressed and it was observed that they put their hands quite often in their own hair or face whilst preparing food and serving the client. Also between handling the cash and touching food there is no hand wash or hand sanitation, this place should be shut down by the authorities. Not posting any pictures of staff members to protect their privacy. This is not a standard for McD in Mauritius and other outlets are spotless clean as the one in Floreal for example.

Worst experience ever at a Mc Donald's outlet...even the 1 star rating is too high for the service offered. In fact could give 1/2 star for the temperature of the food served. My order has been taken by the MANAGER and she did not even care to inform us that there was no salad at all. We ordered food for 11 people around Rs3k: 1st mistake, instead of coke we got a cup of milkshake or something like that and guess what...it's okay, the manager took it easy, it was not her fault nor that of her staff, so a cup of coke handed over without ANY apology. 2nd, we asked to get a table cleaned (from the manager herself) since it was a complete mess around in the dine-in area but we had to remind her of our request 10mins later. 3rd, 2 of us were observing the staff preparing our order and we requested all those among us to check their burgers before eating, surprise, no lettuce nor tomato slice. When queried, it was not the problem of the manager and one staff only informed that there's no salad sir. Again no apologies, I told her that we could have been informed of that at the time of order (order taken by Mrs. MANAGER herself) and lastly, we paid full rates for all the meals. 4th, we ordered 2x8 wings and got served only 2x4. I again went to the counter saying "madam, we are getting too many problems with our order"...she did not even dare to reply me, she only called her staff saying "hey you served 2x4 instead of 2x8, bring me 2 more boxes of 4" and handed over to me the boxes again without any apology. Ohh forgot to mention that we mentioned "dine-in" on ordering and we were served in paper bags. Before going, we cleaned up all our mess and... last but not least...all bins were full! Bravo McDonald's...quality service...keep it up

Giving one star only because Google does not have RED FLAG options for negative reviews. Poor poor service. The place was full of trainees yesterday. Most of them clealy didn't even want to be there. I waited over 20 minutes while my order appeared as "being served" on the screen. A supervisor/manager came over and I queried about it. He searched around and found my order ticket lying on some junk instead of being at the work area where orders are packed up and proceeded to preparing my order. Not a single apology. I witnessed a few complaints in those 20 minutes. Still, no apologies. McDonald's only allows vaccinated clients in their restaurants. Fair enough. How about in-house regulations for staff? A lady was taking orders at the counter, handling money and serving food. Not only she handled food with her bare hands, at one point, I saw her rub her nose and straighten her mask (not even properly) with the same hand. You are not expected to smile and/or to go the extra mile on minimum wage. Just be considerate and do better.

Hygiene at this place is quite wanting and needs improvement considering you can see into the kitchen. When I visited, some tables were left messy and uncleared for long; not sure whether it was due to it being busy weekend. Waiting time can be quite erratic, waited almost 45 minutes for a simple order. Generally, this outlet is quite spacious and baby friendly; high chairs are provided for toddlers. There’s enough seating and parking space. Decor is aesthetically pleasant

I was in a rush looking for a quick meal. I know they use to make mistakes but this time i was really in a rush and was shocked to receive a box full of mayonaise instead of nuggets. Had a bad experience at Mcdo jumbo. I ordered 2 Mc Chicken meals. 1 with double patty and the 2nd one was a simple meal at 18.02 today as take away. My order number is 2527 and 2532. I got a single patty for the 2527 and got only the burger for 2532. I noticed the single patty only when I reached home. I tried calling them but in vain. I also sent a message on facebook with the pictures of burger and receipt but no reply. For the 2nd order, i got only the burger. Quick service even at rush hours and drive thru is very convenient. 👍 There is plenty of room for dine in with friends and family members with lots of tables. 💯 The staff is very friendly 🔥 You will never have trouble finding a parking spot as there is a surplus amount. 🅿 There is a kids corner where kids can play near the entrance 🥳 Students can benefit from lower prices with student meal if they have their student pass with them. (Students can get a McChicken meal for example for only Rs99!!) 🥰 I personally go there very often (if not daily) and 10/10 recommend. 👌

I am amazed how a fast food chain can become so bad over a few months! Seriously your higher level management should have a proper inspection of the place and review of the training instructor/course that is given to those employees.
