We had a great holiday in paradise. The whole resort is great with rather a lot of leisure and sports facilities. Our kids had a lot of fun in the Teens Club. Special thanks to Atish, Aurore and Guillaume - but also the other animators. Plus great drinks and good humour from the beach bar. The friendliness and warmth of all the staff was really great! The beach and the lagoon are not quite perfect. It is very shallow and the water is not very clear.

Bar is located in Sugar Beach resort. If you are not their guest you can pay around 60e to use sunbeds,pools and go to restourant. We had nice day there.

Terrible service. Waited for 20min for the waiter to come to take our order when the place is not even 20% full. Another 15min later the waiter comes back saying one had to either be a hotel guest or have a reservation to be serviced. The manager also insisted one needed a reservation to be served and one cannot make a reservation even when the place is largely empty. Complete nonsense. Would never return or recommend.

When we arrived, we were told by staff they usually allow people access who aren’t within the resort/hotel but that day they did not. I highly suggest management make this clear that they are not open to the wider public so people are fully aware and can avoid being turned away..

If you are looking for a beautiful setting with delicious food I would strongly suggest this restaurant. It is however quite expensive but sharing meals family style would be my suggestion. Keep in mind that the service is good but rather slow.

What a great place to admire the view, soak up the sun and enjoy a few cocktails or beers. We came from the other side of Flic en Flac and really enjoyed our visit. Team was very friendly and attentive - Thank you for a memorable experience!

The food was delicious. However the 'all inclusive' offer ends at 23:00 and i ordered at 22:30. The staffs did not bring my order and claim that the 'all inclusive' offer had ended. I did get my order after much discussion.

Amazing service & welcome by the restaurant manager . She is very strong & charming lady. However the main course food quality wasn’t that good. The noodles were dry , the chicken sauce was too salty & the wok vegetables had not much taste. the sushi was amazing & bao buns too. Cocktails were soooo delicious !

Trying the Buddha Beach Bar for the first time was an amazing experience from start to finish! We had the most amazing food, and the Lobster dumplings and brocoli tempuras are TO DIE FOR!!! The cocktails are for me the best you can find on the island, each of them is unique with the most amazing flavours! We had an incredible service from the whole team but a special thanks to David, Shan and Imal for taking care of us and making us feel special! Great team, amazing service, incredible cocktails, best food all in the coolest vibe, well done BBB 👏🏽👏🏽 and THANK YOU for the experience!

Superb food, great ambiance and friendly staff against a beautiful backdrop of the west coast of Mauritius, heat could be better?

It’s a lovely restaurant with an awesome view of the beach. We had lunch there and the ambience was very nice. They had relaxing music on so eating there and looking at the water while feeling a wonderful breeze was the perfect combination. The prices are on the higher side but it’s worth it.

We were treated to an awesome, personalised honeymoon meal here. Four delicious courses, served practically on the beach.

An amazing place to enjoy the amazing mauritian sunset while having superb cocktails and listening to live music. Also guests are welcome who are not booked in the hotel. Look for events on their Facebook site so you don't miss out on the live music.

I called in before to ask whether non residents were allowed in and they said yes. We spent one really pleasant afternoon there but then decided to go again a few days later. Then We were refused entry from the hotel side by a very rude lady at the gate so we said „okay we will then walk by from the beach like last time“. She then threatened if we do that she will call security and have us removed. Absolutely rude and unacceptable after we spent 160€ and tips just a few days earlier. Not a nice way to treat guests and I will certainly not recommend this place.

As a self-professed cocktail nerd, I was excited to see that Buddha Bar Beach had cocktails on their menu that had won a local World Class cocktail competition. However, after ordering one of the 3 listed cocktails, to my dismay, I watched a bartender free pour and put together a disaster of a cocktail that was completely undrinkable. I asked to speak to the team leader, and Shan listened to my comments, and another bartender (mixologist Oliver) requested that I please give him the opportunity to remake my drink. Measured pours, and a cocktail that made visual, olfactory, and gustatory sense. I was told that my initial barman was an apprentice, and I must say, in chatting with Oliver and Shan, Buddha Bar Beach absolutely redeemed itself. Oliver even made me a custom cocktail based on a flavor profile I requested, and knocked it out of the park. Docking one star for the initial experience, but would absolutely visit again thanks to Shan and Oliver.
