DO NOT TRUST THEM. They cancelled a car for 7 people just a few hours before we had to get the car. They did not offer other options, as for example, two Cars of 5. We had to pay more for another car and they did not pay any compensation. Even the difference. They did not answer our emails and our calls. I do not recommend this company..they are very very informal.

I had to rent a car in Mauritius for 1 1/2 months. Harshil from Cathcar has been absolutely outstanding. He communicated everything with me from the first contact and his prices has been some of the best if not the best you can find on the island. Normally that would mean a not so nice vehicle...but we received a vehicle in excellent condition and spotless clean. He went out of his way...from delivering to my home even though it was late at night and collecting the vehicle again. I will definitely recommend his services. Paul

We were contacted upfront to confirm thevreservation and had contact using Whatsapp or phone. No surprices when delivering the car 3 weeks later and the same professional treatment. This car rental had the best rates that I could find in Mauritius. They offered a Nissan Micra for 500 rupees per day which included insurance coverage. It was a bit awkward that they wanted to do the paperwork in the airport parking lot ( they meet you at the airport)however their "office" is in Goodlands). I was somewhat reluctant, being nervous that this was some sort of scam, but they had me follow with the vehicle to Goodlands where I was sufficiently satisfied that everything was on the up and up. I am very happy with the vehicle and the price. Please be aware that they do not take credit cards. I had to pay with cash. Regardless, we are very happy to have found this Rental Company. I recommend the company and they bring the car to the airport for pickup and they will meet me at the airport when I am ready to return the vehicle.

I got a perfect car for my holiday in Mauritius which was a Nissan March Automatic and with Air Condition, the car was delivered on time at the hotel and also drop off was very easy at the SSR International Airport.
