Enjoyed drinks after a staff event with a group of 9. The bar was crowded for the time. The decor was amazing, the restaurant and restroom were clean. The bartender came over to us within 10 minutes took our order and had it out to us within another 10 minutes. I would come back again.

A surprisingly wonderful meal! The atmosphere is great ... From a huge antler chandelier to ski chairlift seating, it was delightful without being overdone. It didn't hurt that I was seated by the two blazing fireplaces! The service was terrific, and the food was really, really great! I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with REAL mashed potatoes and delicious green beans. The shrimp salad sandwich looked wonderful, loaded with whole, medium sized shrimp. Great sweet tea served in individual little pitchers. Nice specialty drink, beer and wine lists. We'll be back ... Soon! UPDATE: Back again! The ahi tuna app was yummy! French onion soup, Matterhorn salad, and shrimp & grits all highly recommended. UPDATE: the French onion soup is really good!

The food was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We love the outside seating. The drinks were even better!

I called to do a carry out order and they said they don’t do carry out between 5 and 8. So i went up to sit at the bar and ordered a drink. I ask to order a carry out order and the were very nice at the bar at took my order while was having a drink. There was one couple at the bar and 3 table with 4 people at the restaurant. After a few minutes the bar tender said they could not do my carry out order which was 3 burgers. The order was canceled and i could reorder if i was eating there. I wish the management could tell me why I can order three sandwiches to eat there but not carry it out. Plus the place was empty inside. The bartender was very nice and took care of me unlike whichever employee in the back canceled out my order because it was a carry out order. This is not the first time it’s happened. This is a good way to drive away customers and it’s a good way for me to keep telling my friends not to come there anymore no wonder your business is probably dropping every time. I would like to hear back from management on why they will not let you order carry out at the bar but you can order food and eat it there when the place is empty. I would like a response thank you Since your reply says you were extremely busy then that means one couple at the bar and four tables you’re extremely busy I don’t understand so instead of doing carry out i replaced my order to eat at the bar . When they brought it out I asked for three boxes and then box it up and left what’s the difference.

This was such a cute restaurant. It’s very spacious and decorative. Lots of stuffed animals, it really does look like a lodge. My friend recommended the Black & Bleu Burger so I ordered it. It came with red peppers and I was worried that the flavors would clash but it had the opposite effect. The roasted red peppers really enhanced the Bleu cheese and made it pop. I really enjoyed my burger, this was probably the best black & Bleu burger I’ve had in a long time. Service was ok. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The only issue I had was that as we were eating our entree he said he would bring the check. It definitely changed the atmosphere because we started feeling rushed. There were plenty of empty tables, so not sure what that was about. I would recommend bringing the check when the customer asks for it or is finished eating, but bringing it over after receiving the order is a bit excessive. Lots of free parking here.

Came up here from Virginia Beach to pick up a boat and this place was recommended to eat at while in the area. Glad we did because the food and bar staff were great. I recommend the Rockfish and Crab quesadilla. Wasn't sure how it would work together in a quesadilla, but it was amazing!

Just ate here with the family and I normally order the Black and Blue Berger. This time I ordered the Cajun Chicken and Shrimp. I have found my new favorite dish! Will our waiter was excellent as well!

1st time visit. It was packed inside & outside with a band playing but no wait time. I'm particular about Nachos & tried their Chili Beef Nachos. Tricolor chips with the toppings I look for on Nachos that other places do not offer was a pleasant surprise. They were not soggy either. Great start.👍 My date had 8 Buffalo Wings & loved the size & crispy skin. Mild Buffalo sauce had a unique flavor that makes u want more. Definitely not ur average sauce, strictly restaurant quality & it was very, very good.🥂 Next, we had amazing Seafood Linguine: Cherry tomatoes, diced Baby Asparagus & Onions in a velvety smooth Garlic Butter Wine sauce with actual Lump Crab Meat, Shrimp & Mussels. Had 3 small slices of Garlic French bread on top to mop up sauce. Outstanding seafood flavor all the way thru in every bite of pasta. I added Old Bay & lemons. Just right amount of pasta & ingredients. Amazing flavor! ❤ Ordered a side order of Baby Asparagus, cut it up & added it to my dish bc I like a lil green veggie in my Seafood Pasta. Asparagus already in it was sparse & not bright green, that was the only down point. It was Delicious & Outstanding Flavor! Highly recommend the Seafood Linguine. Our waitress was friendly, prompt & attentive, always refilled our drinks 🍹 tho the place was quite bizzy. Overall, was very impressed with the high quality of the food, the flavors, presentation & great service. Everything was served piping hot. 🏅 No wonder it was packed. Regulars know this place is a true gem 💎 in the "country" up Rt. 1. Looking forward to visiting again soon! Plenty of parking with a section for ppl on motorcycles.

The food used to be amazing. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill over the last year. This used to be an exception but now You can expect less than ideal bar food. This was $16 calamari, it was tough & overcooked and for $16 it wasn’t even enough to share for our table. I let it go until the burger and onion rings had little to no flavor. I miss the original lodge, very disappointing.

The honey old bay wings were probably one of my favorites! The vibes are good and they even have dancing on the weekends.

Hostess was a little snooty, but... Service was kind of slow. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Food was good but a bit on the pricey side - $13 for mushroom swiss burger with fries. Nice drink selection.

Conowingo crab dip… 10/10!!!!! Ahi Tuna 9.5/10, fried pickles 9/10… everything was awesome!! Would def come back

We made a reservation. We're seated close to our time despite being busy. The server was very attentive to our needs. The food was good and came out relatively quick.

Server was supper attentive, food and drink was good. Live music was good. Not too loud. Only thing I would say is outdoor seating is lovely but the lights need to be fixed. There were many bulbs out and it's kind of difficult to see. Other than that..good visit! Would visit again....

This place was recommended to me for their Rockfish Bites, so I figured I'd try it out when up that way. Since Rockfish Bites aren't really my thing, I went for some wings & pickle chips. As seen by the photo, the wings were not the best, however the pickle chips were tasty. Service was fairly quick by the bartender at the time, that's about it.

I might have a little crush on Madison who saved me from a chili that was too spicy. Sweet and personable, excellent server who was attentive without being intrusive or hovering. Part of a dining experience is having a friendly staff. I believe in acknowledging that in my reviews. The food was very good, somewhat pricey. Atmosphere was comfortable with the typical background noise. Madison was great. Dr.C

Very nice dine-in place. Cool atmosphere, very clean. The staff are always nice and attentive. Its a little expensive, but definitely worth it if its a special occasion.

Highly recommend Food: delicious! I started with the corn and crab chowder. Best chowder I've had in a while. Meatloaf and potatoes were perfect Service: from the hostess to our waitress, all very friendly and super attentive Atmosphere: cozy inside. Happening outside. A great mix of Atmosphere

Made a reservation for birthday party for 6 . Not sure why they ask , they don't do anything to celebrate. No special dessert offered , no nothing . Big disappointment. Food was mediocre . I read the reviews before making reservation. I guess I'm used to eating better food at home . Very expensive for the quality of food . I don't mind paying for good food . Will not be going there again. Hope this review deters others from wasting their hard earned money .

Good food. Service was lackluster; large gathering was there the same time we were and they didn't have enough staff to cover a planned event. But not a bad place, just not what I like.

The food is always great! Our burgers are always cooked the way we ask, Rockfish bites are delicious and so is the Salmon! Of course we also love the atmosphere.

Love the cozy lodge atmosphere here. Our server DJ was fabulous, very friendly and attentive. Not impressed with the potato salad but the BALT was really really good.
