Cameroon's Reunification Monument was constructed in the 1970s to memorialize the post-colonial merging of British and French Cameroon. Located in Yaounde, it’s architects are Gedeon Mpondo and Engelbert Mveng. And amazing place to visit in Cameroon and see this for to have good times there.

A 'must' place to visit as a tourist. Visited as part of a town tour and relished a dance performance after climbing into the monument. It was fun.

Another historical place that has a huge significance to the cameroonian history. Created in the 1970s, this area still stands till today. Though not too large , but a nice little attractive area to pass and see. One can also have some rest on the bench there before moving off. I advise you to just visit this place once in a while you will enjoy the view.

We are all children of the Fatherland and we all have the same rights, let's preserve our country. The story of the reunification of Cameroon is brought to you as a guide walks you right from the fence, to the monument and to the underground mini-museum. The mini-museum could be better, but it's something. The lawn is all green and is perfect for little camps (if permitted). Come ready to pay for a guided visit

(Translated by Google) A great story to tell on it 🤗 children should build it to know or learn more about their country and its history. It is a monument whose symbol and history provide a better understanding of the history of the independence of Cameroon.  😅😅 yes this monument has a history and its history tells another history. I put 4/5 because the place is not open to the general public, at least the day I was there I was unable to enter, there was no one and no program allowing to know the days of or even the required modalities ... 😥

A good place to start off with Cameroonian history. I recommend having a guided tour to the basement: the ceiling shows scenes of cultural events, history and every day life. All wonderfully crafted in wood. Furthermore there’s a display of important landmarks.
