Stop what you're doing and go here now! By far, the best place for ramen in Setúbal. Would be hard pressed to say it would not hold up to any ramen place regardless of location. Thankful to finally have good ramen here! Ordered Karaage, Pork Wontons, Sapporo Miso, Sapporo Miso Veggie, Chá Verde com Mel.

This was such a wonderful experience. Small but cosy space, very simply decorated, with seats for all kinds. Benches, stools, chairs. Be at a table, an window seat, a bar side with a view of the kitchen. A simple but consice menu, well described. The food... If I say delicious, it doesn't even come close. And this is by far, the best ramen I have had in a long time, in portugal, let alone Setúbal. If you are a carnivore, or a vegan Kamagami caters for your every delight. The most sumptuous pork dumplings with an incredible chilli oil. The miso grilled eggplant is just a slice of heaven when it hits your taste buds. And the ramen... the ramen!!! Such a "simple" dish, but so jam packed with flavours. We had the Kamagami and also the Kotteri Goma Goma veggie. Cannot wait to try the others. Fairly priced, excellent service, and a place to return very often, and as soon as possible!

Bottomline: For locals you can save your bucks for Lisboa and eat here, no regrets. As an Asian I had tried various of Ramen shop in Asia, and when I start to live here I am very reluctant to have Asian cuisine, in particular to Japanese one because the menu are mostly localized which turns out unauthentic, cheap and not delicious. The Chefs stayed in Kobe, Japan for years and used to have ramen everyday. At one point he felt enough of the fat content and broth richness thus he wanted to make his own broth. Broth: Cooked with pork bones and chickens, it has a clean yet pleasant flavor which you won't feel saturated. I asked the Chef and he understands the importance of the broth temperature. So no pungent smell when it cools a little bit and good for drinking the whole broth. You can order an extra rich broth if you wish(which I did) Noodle: I would say it is less tender than expected but still ok. My personal opinion would be pay more attention to dehydrate cooked noodle to prevent diluting the broth and bringing alkali flavor. Fried Chicken: The fried chicken is a great side dish to the Ramen. They are served hot (which is a great plus) and the chicken is still moist inside. Conclusion: This is recommended and I need not to go to Lisboa for Ramen anymore. I hope they can uphold the quality of food in the future.

Very good vegetarian ramen, I would leave 5 stars if the tofu would be marinated but it was completely flavorless. / edit: we came back to find out that the ramen is now ramen 2.0 with spiced tofu :)

Kamagami Ramen is a new ramen restaurant in Setúbal that offers both meat and vegan options. One of the standout features of the restaurant, for me, is their delicious veggie broth, in particular, the Kotteri Goma veggie ramen, which has a sesame base, is especially divine. For those looking for a vegan option, this is a fantastic choice that delivers on both taste and texture. Truly food for the soul! In a town that can sometimes feel overly tailored to tourists, Kamagami Ramen is a refreshing change of pace. Whether you're looking for a hearty bowl of ramen to warm you up on a cold day, or a satisfying meal that nourishes both body and soul, this restaurant has something to offer. Overall, if you're a ramen lover or looking for a comforting meal with vegan options in Setúbal, Kamagami Ramen is definitely worth a visit. With delicious broth, flavorful toppings, and a cozy atmosphere, it's no wonder that this restaurant has become a local favourite!

Great ramen place! My family (1/2 vegetarian, 1/2 omnivore) loved our meals. The broths were delicious but seeped in flavor. Simple menu that will satisfy your craving.

I don’t know if I have to thank God, the fortune, or Brave (the owner and Chef), or all of them combined, but this spot is a gem and my reason to love Setubal even more! Incredible ramens and more!!! I never tasted better ones in my life, and I am almost a pro ramen critic😅 So, forza, Kamagami gorgeous team! Can’t wait for the terrace and new menu additions to come soon!!!
