PREC has a different menu every day with a single option per day. Everything is vegetarian and very often vegan. Make sure to ask if you need vegan or other dietary needs to see possibilities. Everything is organic and as local and in season as possible. In terms of price the menu is only 7.5€ so pretty cheap :) They also sell local beer from Mértola. It is the perfect place to be part of if you believe in regenerative practices and meeting people with this mindset.

Un restaurante peculiar y único. Cada día preparan un menú de dos platos. Si te apetece la oferta, reservas y vas. Económico y de mucha calidad. El plato que comimos era una versión vegetariana del bacalao dorado, y la verdad es que me gustó más que el plato al que me recordó. Sorprendente y muy recomendable. Una experiencia diferente. Para beber tienen tambien la cerveza artesana de Mértola y en la parte de la tienda tienen tambien productos locales, vinos, verdura y otros productos.

Se está em busca de comida local, sazonal, vegetariana e de um sistema agroecológico sem dúvida o Prec é esse lugar. Eu sou apaixonada pela proposta do espaço, pelas pessoas, e claro pela comida que é sempre muito saborosa. Destaque para o Gaspacho de morango a melhor releitura que já provei desta sopa fria.

I had the most delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The sophisticated vegan cuisine made with local and organic ingredients was a true culinary delight. The warm and inviting atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. It's also a great venue to learn about the innovative project of the Terra Syntropica association.

A hidden gem. Don’t let the lack of a menu fool you: Just take the meal of the day, you won’t regret it. Delicious, natural, local food! 😋 And definitely try desert too!

I ate here over two weeks ago and I’m still thinking about my meal. Wow. I don’t even have words to describe the dining experience from start to finish other than, magical. Farm fresh, nourishing and so flavorful. PREC re-sparked my love for cooking and I’m happy to say I’ve been back chefing it up ever since my visit.
