Rita is a wonderful host! You can see and feel that she puts her heart into everything that she does. She notices and anticipates everything that a guest might need for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The houses are beautifully decorated, clean and really cosy. Definitely my first choice for accommodation in the area! Thank you, Rita! 😊

The best part of a wonderful 3-week trip to southern Portugal. We stayed in Casa das Oliveiras, and it was so comfortable and homey. Photos don’t do it justice. Beautifully rehabilitated and restored and so many thoughtful touches. Definitely opt for the huge breakfast Rita delivers in a basket each morning with a hand-decorated note. She is an amazing host and ambassador for the Alentejo region and her grandparents’ farm and homeland. She directed us to all sorts of local agricultural and culinary experiences we would never have discovered on our own, the kinds of gems you only know about when you’ve lived in a place and your heart is there, the way hers is. Definitely book here. I keep thinking of Rita & this special place and hope to return.

Moura's best accommodation and surroundings to spend a very quiet vacation. A unique place with a unique natural beauty, a bright sky with a lot of light. The owner of the accommodation is a unique person too, friendly, available, patient, concerned with customers who consider almost "family" and very proud of what has built. "Casa das Oliveiras" is a house that has all the details, a trip on the ancestors, all the material has been recovered to the detail for the customer to have a experience of being without a doubt in a sustainable house, plows, chests, chairs, travel bags , wardrobes, all recovered, Awesome. For next year I will go again, no doubt. :)

Amazing place to explore the area. Great host! Definitely ask Rita about recommendations for excursions. We spent three great days there.

we loved our stay at Burrico d'Orada. Rita is an amazing host, always with a smile and positive energy and ready to ensure that our visit to Burrico D'Orada and to Baixo Alentejo would not be last. The details are everywhere, in the way the house is decorated, in the outdoor space, in the way Rita relates to the customers or in the little welcoming treats left in the house. Sitting at the front porch is fantastic, looking at the stars and listening to the silence while enjoying a glass of wine or something else, it is just so relaxing and welcoming. Definitely a stay to repeat in a near future !

Rita Valadas is a wonderful host focused in the “little big details” that can make your experience being unique. “Casa da Rita” is nice spot, very clean and comfortable.

Casa das Oliveiras is a really cute house with everything you will need. It’s well located with Moura just a few minutes away. The house sits in a really beautiful eco farm that Rita does a really good job taking care of. Rita was a really really nice host, always available to help us. She also took care of arranging lots of activities for us to do during our stay: from wine tasting to water activities in the Alqueva, also recommending plenty of restaurants for us to visit. We will come back soon to visit Rita again :)

Rita is an honest, natural, genuine, and refreshingly enthusiastic host with a powerful, infectious passion for all things Alentego. This includes justified anger at the industrial despoliation of much of the land at the hand of multi-national corporations using harmful, toxic, expensive chemicals with damaging, rapacious farming practices. So go and stay. See the authentic, renowned countryside before more of it vanishes. And soak up Rita's knowledge of the best places to visit, eat, and immerse yourself in the cherished, but threatened traditions of this priceless land of immense cultural and historic significance.
