Great quality of grilled fish at affordable price. 12,50€ for lunch including everything from appetizer to dessert and coffee. Despite of being very busy, the employees care each table with great service. Highly recommended.

Besuch ist ein Erlebnis, Essen auch. Es wird nicht viel gefragt. Man bekommt für 12,50 € das Mittagessen, all inklusive. Frischer Fisch. Sepia, Chocos genannt. Hektisch. Trotzdem freundlich. Wir waren im März gefuehlt dir einzigen Touristen. Viel los. Laut und ausgelassen. Wenn voll: Namen auf eine Liste schreiben. Kein Zwischenraum lassen. Man wird dann aufgerufen. Achtung WG Aussprache. 😁

This restaurant has to be one of the best of Setubal for fresh grilled fish. For 12.50 Euros fixed, you get your chosen fish, potatoes, bread poridge, a drink (wine or water) and a homemade dessert. It is an excellent deal. The setting is sunny and pleasant. But note, it is very popular and you have to make a reservation (in person almost) at noon, then get on a list for the 1:00pm seating. You could also arrive before noon. I couldn´t recommend this restaurant more.

Simple, delicious, noisy, family friendly, with friendly staff. The fish is fresh and food made with love. The price is excellent.

It's a busy place, all people seem to be local. The place is not polished, but a nice place for a lunch. The service is good. They are a little overeager. They don't even ask if you want azeitonash and bread, they just put it on your table as well as bread. They also brought a fish sup without asking while I was out washing hands. Otherwise, the food is simple but good. The whight house wine was ok. The price was fair. I would co.e here again.

Random stop in Setubal that turned out to be an authentic Portuguese experience. By the end of my meal there was a jam session of popular country songs taking place at one of the corners letting the whole venue vibrate with it, on a rainy Tuesday in December. Priceless :) Food was basic but good traditional beef with mushroom sauce, glass of red wine and a desert. All this for 12.5 EUR! Thank you

Great place for fish lovers, very fresh, even for Portuguese standards. Fish is not served as filets, it will be the complete fish: with head, fins, some scales and innards. One gets to eat as much fish as one wants, with different types of fish being served over time. Sides served with the fish are great and can also be eaten freely. One drink, a dessert and a coffee is also included in the price. The main con is the long waiting time to get a table, about 90 mins, but this is standard for a lot of similar restaurants. the price is a little higher than average for Portugal, but it is definitely worth it.

Great restaurant with cheerful atmosphere! It was full of local people as we entered. We were offered the menu for 12.5 €/person. For each person it included a salad and a traditional soup as starter, four different fish as main course (you can instead order fried cuttlefish) and dessert and coffee! The taste was pretty amazing I have to say. In our 12 days visit in Portugal we went to a variety of restaurants (from cosy ones to shopping centers) and this one was probably the best. The service was awesome, very nice and friendly staff, eager to help you. The restaurant inc. the WC was very clean. I definitely recommend this place in Setúbal.

Well this is a difficult one, My friends, fish lovers, give 5*. Maybe i had bad luck. Been here 3x. Lunch only. Soup very tasty but served almost cold. Chocofrito big chewy chunks, swordfish, small portion full of spines. Sardinhas 4pcs only, tasty but served with all spines, intestines etc. Side dishes very limited. Desserts good, if you like very sweet. Than... no reservation possible, even with friends of Dona Cristina, high season queue 60-90 minutes. Low season still 30-45 mins. Try if you have time.

Very friendly staff and authentic local experience.

This is one of the most confusing restaurants I have been in. They have a set menu and that is not clear at all. You order two meals and then get one portion of rice, salad and French fries. The meat and fish are delicious. The service is horrendous and you can’t pay with credit cards that originate out of the EU.
