We came here due to seeing other reviews and we weren’t disappointed! The pizzas were delicious and the crusts were so fluffy and tasty. We had the ragu pizza and portogallo pizza with a beer and a soft drink which came to €33. Just watch out when you get the bill to see if you get charged for the breadsticks even if you don’t eat them! Would recommend coming here and we will return in the future.

Visited as we were after a proper wood fired pizza and it didn't disappoint. We were looking at Pepperino prior to our trip and looked forward to visiting. The restaurant is very clean and the team there were super welcoming. Great selection of pizza and pasta and the oven looked amazing at the back of the restaurant. We were seated on the first floor, our drink and food order was taken quickly and the food appears just as quick! The pizza's were amazing, well worth the visit to Alvor. After we had some ice cream which is made in house and was the perfect way to round off the meal. Pepperino was fantastic. The pizza and ice cream is amazing as are the team. If you're passing Alvor then stop at this place, you won't regret it!

Super tasty Italian restaurant. Absolutely recommended for Pizza/Pasta and everything. Restaurant has a nice and cozy style. The kitchen is open so you can see your food being prepared. Super nice waiters, kind and very friendly. Absolutely enjoyed ourselves. I always go several times there when I am in Alvor.

Stopped with my family in front of this restaurant a little skeptical as recently, on our holiday, we have tried a couple of " italian restaurant " that were an absolute disaster and left us disappointed. But this restaurant is definitely our revenge! We had an amazing pizza! The pizzaiolo Marco is a star honestly! And even the tiramisu' and cheesecake need to be tried! Best Italian restaurant In Alvor!

As tourists we ditched Portuguese food two days in a row, because we liked Pepperino's so much. Nice staff, good food, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This is a favourite with our teenage son as the pizzas are divine. The special pizzas like their calzones or the Stella are filling to say the least. No starter necessary.

Been here many times and I always enjoy the sour dough base pizza. Its soft and not crunchy just so you are aware. The pasta is also nice.

OMG, I didn't taste the pizza but the fresh homemade pasta's are incredible! Beautiful, delicate and refined. I personally went for the Nero & Gambi (black spaghetti with prawns) and my girlfriend for the Duck & Orange ravioli. Buonissimo! Very recommended, don't get distracted with just the pizza's.

Went to Pepperino for the first time recently. Top class Italian food in a lovely room. The dessert was excellent. Good wine selection and friendly staff. We will be back!

Booked here for the first night because it used to be our favourite Italian spot. We had specifically reserved the balcony as it was a special occasion. The balcony was full when we arrived and the waiter shrugged us off and sent us up with another waiter. They didn’t make any attempt to make our seats available even though a family had just sit down in front of us. It was only when we brought it up they said we had to come back in an hour so we had to wait an extra hour. They told us it was because they booked us into the Lagos restaurant instead by accident. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and booked again when my boyfriend arrived a week later. Unfortunately, they had again taken up the full balcony and they took a table away from two ladies sat next to us which was awkward for the whole meal because we were so close. Service was fast, but nobody asked how the food was and as I said the first time, the older gentleman who first spoke to us was extremely rude and dismissive. The food was not hot, and nothing was wowing. My boyfriend ordered the mediterranean salad which boasted lots of veg but when it came it was mainly mushrooms (which wasn’t on the menu description) and also he cannot eat them. My seafood pasta had 3 prawns and was bland. This is honestly such a shame because for a restaurant that used to be so bold with flavour and great service, it seems they have fallen victim to the chain restaurant structure.

I eat here every friday. Im a pizza lover, if it's real Italian pizza. And this is one of the best pizza I ever had, and I've been eating pizza in many countries. And the Italien wine (valpolicella ripasso 2018) they only have here is a perfect match to the best pizza in algarve. Highly recomended. 🍕🍷⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Doesn't look much from outside but a nice restraint with friendly staff. All food we've had in Portugal has been good and this Italian restaurant was no different. They have a large wood fired pizza oven and a decent celection of pasta dishes too. Vegetarian options available. Bathroom facilities were spotless.

Lovely place, After 5 days eating fish 🐠, squid 🦑 and gambas 🦐 we tried to find a pizza 🍕 place. This is absolutely right place to go, we drove from Portimao, it’s worth it :) . Pizza and pasta as beautiful as in Italy!! Recommended!!
