Really nice market in the center of Baixa quarter. It has lots of traditional dishes and perfect spot for a small break in order to catch a quick bite. It has some places to seat or stand, although they are not always enough. From the moment you walk in it smells amazing, meat, sausages, cheese, bread. We tried a mix it meat and sausages with some bread, 5 euros. Tasted really good, it was enough for 2 people as quick snack. Definitely try the sangria, it was really good and very refreshing, 5 euros the medium glass. It was a nice retreat wit food and drinks on a hot summer day. Highly recommend it.

Do you like cheese? Good drinks? Great meat? Then this place is a great spot to stop by right in the heart of the city. They serve a lot of different foods as well as a few shops for clothes and souvenirs. Give it a try after walking around the city.

If you like market's with local vendors and local food and drink then this might be a place for you. Yes the prices are higher than what you get in the super market but that is to be expected from hipster markets like these. I'm from london and we have many markets like these and the prices are the same. If you havebeen to London I would say that this is a much smaller borough market. Colourful and we'll presented food.

Easy to be happy here with all its offerings and shops. Impossible to make a bad choice. Grab a sandwich, some chouriço, and sangria, then find a seat, and you'll have a memorable lunch.

Good find for breakfast/lunch. Sandwiches were awesome. Charcuterie boards looked good, staff were super helpful and gave some tasters. Wouldn’t say much choice for vegetarians but we did not look specifically for this. A lot of the stalls serve the same food.

Very cute marketplace with an excellent selection of Portugese fare. My personal favorite was the sausage selection (especially black sausage, very savory!). Be sure to taste the cheeses as well, Portugese cheese had its own unique characters. If food isn't your thing, there are more than a few sangria and beer stalls as well... And even an artisanal leather shoe stand.

It's a great market, I came here with my parents to show them around and the selection of food is wonderful. You can also taste the cheese before buying which is great and they have a wide selection of both cheese and meat. Plus there was a small tent to enjoy a drink and snacks. Very atmospheric.

Leading up to Christmas, this outdoor, covered food market opens daily as Christmas Market! The market's stalls overflow with a riot of colors and nutritional value – the vibrant hues of red wine sangria (fruit), the deep reds of sausage and ham (protein), the creamy whites of sheep cheese (dairy), and the unnaturally bright tones of frosted cookies (grains). It is a feast for the eyes, a testament to the abundance of nature's bounty. Baixa Market is a place of vitality and energy. Come here for a quick and easy lunch or dinner and look for all things magical!

Food was overpriced and not that exceptional in taste. Barely lasted 4 bites from one of the snack stalls. Feels like a tourist trap

(Translated by Google) Very good! We find sausages and cheeses from all over the country, homemade bread, traditional sweets. We can indulge in ham sandwiches with mountain cheese, suckling pig, roasted sausages, a real temptation. Drink good sangria, and compare some good quality crafts. A place not to be missed! Great selection of meet, cheese and wine. You can also have a snack and a drink. Friendly people who let you taste whatever you desire. Additionally, there was a booth with CD's, where they played Mariza's songs. Wonderful experience.

Neat little market in the middle of the town square. Lots of food and drink options. There is also a stand in one of the corners, that has a ton of amazing dried fruit. So many different varieties of delicious dried fruit. Got a big bag for about $13euro, and it lasted us 2-3 days. We would have stayed longer, but the flies are very annoying.

(Translated by Google) Nice idea !! in a tranquil square but at the same time very central, create the outdoor market with local products from local producers, if you want fast food in really big portions, you have to visit it at reasonable prices for its flavors that you will taste, and the volume in quantity, and very important is next to the soul of the market, ideal for all hours of the day, all you have to pay attention to is that in its close night hours it is a little dangerous in many ways.
