It felt like we were in a parallel reality, it was so difficult to return to the real world after the experience. It was my first time in the jacuzzi, the water in the pool is so pleasant, it wasn't even necessary to get used to the temperature, it was immediately comfortable. There was a strange smell in the sauna, so we opted for the dry air one. The wonderful massage, the whole body, even the palms and feet, exfoliation, and the face was also entitled to a little pampering. Then a cup of tea with a chocolate. I want to recommend it to everyone!!!

I had an amazing time at G Spar, the staff were very helpful, welcoming and attentive.. The atmosphere very relaxing and soothing music being played.. The spar equipment was first class, a beautiful clean pool, we're everyone is given a swimming 🏊 hat to wear, which is great for keeping it clean. The hot tub temperature was amazing and the water 💦 jets powerful for a rejuvenating time, the heat 🔥 in the sauna was so great, as is the steam room.. Last but not least a lovely lounge area to read or have a snooze.. The changing rooms and showers and lockers were clean and very hygienic. I will be visiting again the next time in Lisboa..

Massage was great. Sauna was not hot. Turkish bath was not warm. Jacuzzi was not hot and had kids splashing. No one to help. Reception didn’t even ask how things were.

💆🏻‍♂️ A Great Spa experience 💆🏻‍♂️ (apologies for no pictures!) Wanting to relax and spend some time together, me and my partner have been meaning to indulge in a Spa session without breaking the bank to celebrate our anniversary. So, armed with the knowledge of Odisseias and a bit of online searching, we ended up picking this place for our Monday afternoon experience ❤️ The package consisted of a Deep Tissue massage 👋🏻 clocking around 40 or so minutes with access to the water circuit of the building for 1h30m. If I recall it cost around 80€ or so for the both of us. From the very beginning we were very pleased with the staff's sympathy and helpefulness ☺️ ! From the lobby to the 3rd floor Spa circuit, the service was impeccable. The manager/director of the place was especially welcoming!! The Deep Tissue massage felt good and relaxing 💆🏻‍♂️ and being a complete newbie to these experiences, there's little else I can add. We were given access to a bath robe, a towel and a locker, we brought our own slippers and other related gear. Everything seemed clean and in working order, as it should be! 🙌🏻 The water circuit 🚿 was cozy, the jacuzzi was relaxing, the heated pool was fun to be with and share moments with my partner, as well as the turkish bath and saunas corresponded to expectations! I honestly have no complaints. ☺️ In the end we were so positively impressed with the experience we bought a voucher to return! ✨ And honestly? We can't wait.

I really enjoyed my time here. It is cute and when you stay in the Altis hotel it's free to use. The massages we ordered where nice but for portugal a bit expensive.

Bathroom very dirty and when We informed the receptionist no action was undertaken- Result: we stayed all the time in the spa in a uncomfortable way since we weren't able to use the bathroom. (the second bathroom was out of service). The smell in the bathroom was horrible, for sure not a bathroom of a 5 stars hotel/SPA. The Tissue massage was under our expectations. The pool and the iacuzzi were very crowded and we were not able to access to the iacuzzi at all. A lot of noise and it was impossible to relax. We were also not able to use the Turkish bath since it was not working well: the temperature was unbearable even for the most resistant ones. It looked they forgot to do maintenance of it. Very disappointed from the experience.

The only way this spa is a 5 star experience is if it’s out of 10 stars. Pros: 1. Check-in was easy. We are staying at the sister hotel next door so we had access to the facilities (for a 15 euro charge for day access - which is fine) 2. Facilities were clean 3. Wasn’t terribly crowded Cons: 1. The hot tub was COLD. I saw other comments from weeks ago stating the same but assumed (incorrectly) that it would have been fixed by now. 2. The gym is small and old. There were a few machines out of order. 3. Locker rooms had an odd odor and half of the stalls/showers were out of order. 4. The pool was overcrowded and had a bunch of kids. 5. I tried to do yoga in the “studio” but was consistently disrupted by the loud construction happening on other floors. 6. Everything seemed late 90s style and hadn’t been updated since. Overall, while clean and OK - there are definitely better spots in Lisbon to spend your time and money.

We really enjoyed. The room is beautiful, the staff is attentive. Breakfast is wonderful with a lot of choice. Um agradecimento especial para Pedro pela atenção))).

Unfortunately the SPA package of 4hrs did not live up even to the lowest of our expectations... While massage was quite nice it was not a "full body" rather a back and arms-one. The place was sadly run down and dirty, stains on walls in all of the SPA areas (can be noticed under the regular light)... dust, dirty floor and loose door handle; (barely handing on the door of the changing room). Turkish bath which ended up being just a simple steam room had a weird scent in the air.. something between mould and cat pee. We have noticed a small part of plastic/light fixture melting in the corner of the room and dripping substance on the floor...(We have reported this on the day as a potential toxic/health hazard). Swimming pool has mould growing on its rim and generally feels "unclean". For the 5* hotel this was definitely a 1* review. Also, "tea and bombons" part was equally dissapointing ... chocolates had an aftertaste of something that was left in a cupboard for a couple of years. An experience that was meant to be relaxing and pleasant turned into "lets try not to touch anything we dont have to" mission. The SPA package was a gift for my friend´s birthday and I was completely let down by Altis Grand Hotel SPA and apologetic to my friend for organising such bad experience. Definitely do not recommend. Altis, you should have a cleaner assigned to SPA duty daily!!! It is a potential serious health hazard.

The entire spa area is outdated and has a terrible smell of mold and damp. Doors are poorly treated and appear to be over 30 years old. In terms of facilities, there is absolutely nothing to suggest it is a 5-star hotel. We had a 4-hour thermo massage as a couple, and I ended up with a very inexperienced masseuse. The room was cold and the massage did not live up to expectations at all. I do not recommend

Without a doubt an experience to repeat and recommend. From the moment I arrived, I was very well received by very friendly and available professionals, a very cozy space. They gave me all the information about what my massage would be like, lightly heated oil with a fantastic aroma, which gave me an even more relaxing moment, they were always super attentive to the details of the massage pressure. The hand and foot scrub was a perfect finishing touch!! My goal, to relax/have a moment of my own, was undoubtedly fulfilled with the help of this team. Congratulations to the entire team, I hope to be able to return soon.

We went there 2 years ago to get a massage and use the pool area. The massage was great! It was really great but because of Corona we weren't allowed to use the pool area. We were therefore given a voucher and they would contact us again as soon as it was open again. After 2 years we received an email and used the pool today. Unfortunately that wasn't wellness for us... the whirlpool had too much chlorine in it and we couldn't stand it in there. Our eyes immediately began to tear due to the bubbling and “steam” and a strange smell came out. Other guests also noticed this and left the whirlpool straight away. When we got out of the whirlpool, I noticed that my black swimming trunks had lost their color and so had my rings and my necklace. The water wasn't warm either - whether in the whirlpool or the normal pool. When we reported this to the staff, the hot tub was checked and then marked as “out of service”. When I asked about the clothes and jewelry, all I got from the staff was “yes, we can’t help that.” My boyfriend still has problems opening his eyes and his eyes are watering all the time. And that an hour later.

Been using for 5 years, always top quality and professionalism!

We did not actually stay at the hotel, but had a booking for their spa area. In a nutshell: We were treated horribly! The two masseuses did a very good job, but the receptionist, Martha, ruined the whole experience for us. First of all we were not warmly welcomed at all, but she spoke to us in a very harsh, unfriendly way – not what you expect from the spa of a 5 star hotel. 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment (16:00) we showed up at the reception to find out where we are supposed to go for our session. With another unfriendly gesture, a hand movement, she directed us back to the pool area. There we waited until 10 past 16:00 and nothing happened, which is why we went back to the reception and politely asked what is going on as we haven’t been picked up yet. In an incredibly arrogant, unfriendly tone and even rolling her eyes and making another hand gesture, Martha said “I didn’t make your reservation!”. That neither answered our question nor is that something that can be said to guests under any circumstance. She represents the spa and can not tell guests that she herself is not responsible for our reservation. We were simply shocked by this statement. Remaining very unfriendly, she told us that our appointment had been rescheduled to 20 past 16:00, a fact that she could have told us before, we should even have been told when we arrived. Also, there was an activity going on in the pool area, which is why it was very loud and no relax atmosphere at all. Besides, we could not profit from the “free tee” offer at all…it was empty when we arrived and not refilled until we left. We have visited many spa areas over the years, but this was by far our worst experience. It simply did not feel at all as if we had just left a spa when we walked out, we were just very troubled and angry about Martha’s behavior. On top of all that, we sent an email describing our experience to the spa Manager - and never got a response. So even he doesn't seem to care what is going on in his spa. Not 5 stars, not even a spa, rather a public swimming pool atmosphere.
