Did the Beatles bus tour first. I recently took The Beatles bus tour and it was a fantastic experience. Our host, Damien, was just awesome, playing guitar tunes and acting as our tour guide. He was highly entertaining and made the tour even more enjoyable. I highly recommend taking this tour, it truly made my day.

We booked the Beatles and Mersey ferry cruise with Kelly who herself is amazing so friendly and lovely to chat too. We also met Phil who was also an amazing person . The trip guide was brilliant and we were fortunate to meet Dot the 91 year old who greets the bus near where Paul Mc Cartrney lived . The trip itself was brilliant great to get off the bus at strawberry fields , Penny Lane etc well worth it . The Mersey cruise is absolutely beautiful too. 10/10 to this company and their amazing staff. Thoroughly enjoyed by all the group.

The City Explorer Hop on hop off bus was great! The love guides have a steady stream of interesting information, took time to answer our questions, and seemed knowledgeable if all the tourist locations and events. I would definitely use them again.

Great tour, our guide Dave was brilliant, lots of information and anecdotes, and how the driver Mike got round some of those tight turnings amazed me, really good value for money, would definitely recommend

We booked the Ferry and the tour bus together it was a good price. We popped on and popped off at a couple of stops. The commentary was amazing on both of the buses we was on. I love the joke about the liver birds and the story about John Lennon becomes famous and not being able to get a pint in the Phill. Buses was clean and the bus driver too was lovely.

We booked the Ferry & Bus offer for £22.50, and we’re so glad we didn’t miss out on the bus tour! For our journey, our commentator was Viv and the driver was John. Viv was absolutely brilliant! She talked us through the areas that we passed in masses of detail, telling us fun facts and snippets of information on even the smallest of things, and we learnt so much that we simply wouldn’t have ever known otherwise. The tour route was also really great, taking us round all of the major hotspots in Liverpool. John was a fantastic driver, weaving through even the smallest of streets to show us important areas of the city. Would 100% recommend jumping on a tour with this company if you’re in the area!

Amazing service and tour guides, we took the yellow buses for both tours. There's buses every 15 minutes and makes it easy to visit all good places in Liverpool. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely brilliant! We did the Eurovision 5 day pass and included the ferry, city explorer and Beatles tour. The city and explorer and the Beatles tour both had excellent drivers and guides. Full of local knowledge and one even taught us how to take a great photo in the suburbs! The guy who sold us the ticket gave us brilliant info on how it all worked too. Overall, excellent value for money, great tours and highly recommend. Only issue was we don;t carry cash anymore so couldn't leave any tips :-( Get one of those scan and tip QR codes guys as you definitely deserve it!!

Well worth the money. Staff lovely too. But tours seemed to end really early in the afternoon which I found odd, so check times.

Recommended bus tour and what a fantastic tour guides. Knowledgeable and English wittiness at its best. In fact, both guides were extremely good, worth the trip by themselves. One improvement: better signage at the 11 bus stops.

The guide and weather usually makes or breaks this kind of experience. Luckily, both was excellent on the day we traveled around Liverpool. In glorious sunshine on the top deck of the bus, our guide got the right balance between being informative and funny. I learnt a great deal about the city while also being entertained. The tour covered all the main tourist areas and tickets are valid for 24hrs.

Viv and Paul were great! We highly recommend this experience!! We rode the City Tour all the way through and then decided where we were gonna go.

This is a great tour for new visitors to Liverpool. It shows some of the neighbourhoods and the audio from live tour guides is 😂 hilarious at times! This gives you a 24-hr ticket, so you can spend the whole day hopping on and off to see the attractions. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic tour yesterday 25th September 2023. 1st visit to Liverpool. Tour guide and driver were very friendly. Would recommend if you are into history to take a tour. Tickets last 24 hours so you can hop on and off! Lots learned about the city I never knew ! Also amazing architecture!

For people of a certain generation and Beatles fans everywhere, this tour is a must. Lasting nearly two hours, the tour is packed with information about the fab four provided by a guide who was absolutely fantastic delivering it a typical friendly Liverpudlian manner. Loved it!

Great tour that offered brilliant insight and local knowledge that we otherwise wouldn't have known. Our tour guide and driver, Lee and Wayne, were brilliant, and gave us a lot of really good recommendations for our short stay in the city. This meant that we got to do and see a lot of things that we wouldn't have done without having been on this tour. Would highly recommend.

We loved every minute, lovely guides and drivers, pilots (the ⛴ ferry). We had the hop on off tour and the ferry crossing.

This was my first time on a Hop On, Hop Off (HOHO) bus and it was a great experience! I came on a cruise ship and did the HOHO after the morning Fab4 taxi tour (definitely recommended!). I only had time to get on at the port and off at the Liverpool Cathedral (which was absolutely amazing)! The commentary was a little rushed through and a bit hard to understand a few times. Then the next bus came on time which took us back to port, and the second guy's commentary was very clear and easy to understand. Also, the driver was helpful in letting us know the correct stop to get off for the port. Great deal for only 8 GBP for the day.

An okay tour but maybe not the best of the several companies that do bus tours of this amazing city, a tad underwhelming

  • 5/5 Erin R. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent, funny and knowledgeable tour guide. Gave a thorough overview of Liverpool’s history, and added in many local recommendations. Whole tour was 1hr 30mins and was a fab way to get around the city. 10/10

Highly recommend the humorous and informative guided tour from Chris and the couldn't-be-more-helpful-if-he-tried driver Wayne. Great value for money too.

  • 5/5 Sean B. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic ride on the open top bus, Chris our tour guide was excellent, very informative with the history of Liverpool. John the driver was great and stopped regularly to allow photos and even the chance to jump off if we wished. The tour took about an hour, we stayed on for the full tour. But the tickets are reusable for the day if you wanted to hop back on during your day of exploring and sight seeing. Bargain price for the experience.

spent a fabulous weekend in Liverpool from the 14th - 16th Nov 2022 with a 67 strong group of Black women from JustBe. We had the opportunity to go on this fantastic bus journey with Tommy and Joe. Tommy kept us entertained with historical stories of Liverpool from the 1400s to the 21st Century. Joe ensured we got good photos of the monuments and places of interest. Thank you guys!! See you next year!! Xoxo

Managed to get a half price offer in tickets from wowcher which made the experience even better but would have been happy at full price! Guides on the bus were all very knowledgeable and friendly, went round the city twice and hopped on and off no problem

  • 5/5 Kate C. 1 year ago on Google
We loved this tour so much we did it twice! We accidentally got Viv as the guide both times and she was brilliant. We learned loads of things and saw areas we'd not been to before. Handy for people who want to jump on and off at the stops but also great if you want to ride the whole loop on one go.

  • 5/5 Caroline P. 1 year ago on Google
Great ride on the open top bus, Tour guide Viv (?) was brilliant, really informative with the history and wit. The tour took about an hour and we chose to stay on and do the full tour although some did hop off making use of reusable ticket. Great experience excellent value for money

Had a trip recently with Lee and Gary and had a wonderful time seeing Liverpool and hearing all about the history of the city. Lee kept the tour light and interesting and his humour was on point. Having been on the red city sightseeing buses in other city's before, I found this experience fun, informative and better than any I've been on previously! Keep up the good work!
