Very disappointed with the attitude of staff from Kava. They mention it's an all day dining but more than half of menu items are not available post 1500Hrs. They should mention lunch timings clearly instead of putting all day dining if they cannot deliver it. I have read lot of negative reviews about this place however I couldn't believe that Marriott can be low on service but Marriott staff proved me wrong. Very poor management and lazy staff. Waste of such a beautiful property and brand name.

Personal Attention and Eternal Taste. Chefs at Kava are eager to Serve you and take pleasure in serving dishes as per your request. They specialize in all Indian and continental cuisines. Choice of Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian food is available. There is also a bar serving wines, beer and other drinks. All dishes are very very tasty and your wish that you had a bigger tummy.

To start with, we were blown away by the watermelon virgin mojito and the starter - the pomfret was cooked to perfection. But having ordered Indian fare like biryani (which was nice), we were surprised that pickle wasn't placed at the table, we had to ask for it. But then my prawns came and they were hard, clearly overcooked and disappointing. But what was even more disappointing was that I'd asked the staff to mention to the chef to keep the food gluten free and as a result they simply skipped the mashed potatoes on my dish. That a hotel at the level of the Marriott couldn't whip up gluten free mashed potatoes for a Rs. 1000 dish was for me terribly disappointing. Lastly, the dessert menu is undoubtedly the most boring I have ever come across. We skipped desserts altogether. By Belgaum standards, this is a good restaurant, hence the 4 stars. By Marriott standards, not so great.

Pathetic experience from entry to exit. Poor staff etiquette, worst quality food, sloppy service, very ordinary surroundings/ambience. Easily added to my “places to avoid” list

Chef Madan's andhra onion pesarattu was amazing. Mansi's eggs... Omlette and fried egg were very good. Kira's filter coffee was good. Elan was managing the omlette station the next day with equal skill. Overall the food was good and considering this is an american brand the presence of peanut butter at the breakfast table was not surprising. Akshay and his team leader by Taranth do a good job at the service. Just wish we had known that Madan was the sous chef we would have ordered some pappu and gutti vankai for dinner last night. Next time maybe!

Its a all day dining restaurant in Fairfield by Marriott at Belagavi City in Karnataka.. Stay was worth. Peaceful sleep

Always a nice place to stop on my drive either way between Bengaluru and Mumbai. Good food, friendly staff. Sumptuous breakfast. Lunch in previous trip was good too.

Received a parcel named iftari for 2 I request all of my fellow belgaumites kindly not to order anything here after The mutton samosas tasted worst then potato samosa Briyani was as good as fried rice Kebab was cold as ice The dates received are not worth giving for charity Over all the entire pack was worth Rs99 and I paid 999 for it I humbly request all my fellow mates save your money and choose some other hotel instead. Plz hire some good chef Thank you

Ordered a hot chocolate, I feel sad to say it but it was pathetic! The night staff are not satisfying the taste of the food. Management please look into this . Thanks.

Worst dining experience at Belgaum. There was no service. We had to walk to the reception to get our menus and it took much attention grabbing to have a server take our orders. Finally when it was time to pay, their card readers were not working! Not to forget, the flies hovering about all over the food! Seriously? In Marriot? Will never return.
