Vtu is the technical university located outskirts of belgaum I,e around 13 km from c.b.t(bus stand). The bus traveling between C.B.T and Santewadi or tirtakonde bus will go through the vtu stop and ticket charges around 19rupees. Even u can come by auto which will charge around 150-200 rupees based upon how good u r at bargaining. Always try to visit vtu in morning itself between (10-12Am) if the work to be done within one day. If u come at afternoon they may tell u to again visit tomorrow as it may not completed within one day. Canteen facility available from morning till evening, sbi bank, and clean washrooms. Overall very good experience with the visit and it's very huge campus to walk around.

My engineering college is affiliated with VTU, but having passed out 6 years ago, today was the first time I visited the main campus. A missing graduation certificate not to be found at home, meant I had to pay a visit to Belgavi. The college was not too bad to be fair. They have acres of land and it's on display as soon as you take the turn from the main road. It seems like a nice place to study. I noticed a couple of fountains too! The canteen is decent at best, Although the folks serving were extremely nice. The bulk of my time was spent at the administrative office, which like all good administrative offices work as slow as possible. Folks have the option of taking a bus directly to the VTU campus. Please note- the photos I took are not within the campus and are of the main gate and the main entrance.

The staff members of Vtu won't listen to even a single grievances of your's. They don't care about your grievances regarding Vtu itself. The woman with black glasses at the desk in the registrar room will simply ignore you. This is the condition of Vtu. They only take money from you, giving various names and God knows where all that money is going to. Because of these kind of money minters only our education system is just only for a certicate sake!

One of the worst university ever they don't even care about students, no response at all,and does not know to solve server issues and also not picking calls. They simply make money and just ignores you. Worst University.

One of the biggest and best universities of India has a huge campus which is completely maintained in top notch conditions student accomodations are very good and has tate of the art facilities like centralized library , top sports facilities, best coatches good support to participate in any activities and a very healthy and studious campus

One of the worst universities in India. Outdated syllabus, lethargic staff. I had to get some documents from the university for my higher studies but the college never responded to my email or attended my calls. I ended up missing the deadline. Most useless people

Besides the location... Its a beautiful place belgaum owns... The area is very nicely developed with lot of green and well designed structures.. the new exam department is adding 5 stars to the layout ..

The whole system of VTU is outdated. They are meant to ruin students lives. They waste a lot of time in students lives with the yearback scheme and backlogs without a makeup/supplementary test unlike other private universities. Plus the results are announced very late. There is no proper research conducted neither students who pass out and get great jobs.

I came here for my official transcript and provisional degree certificate. I came to the univ. at 8am but the office was open at 10am. I received my doc at 3:30pm. It was very exhausting to wait for soo long. But the campus is really good to look at at.

The place is calm and peaceful, VTU administration should be improved a lot, especially for collecting convocation, transcripts.... Should be made available online.

Never mind on negative comments. Every query/grievance is taken into consideration if you visit personally. Friendly staff Patience is required. You can prefer to visit the campus by bus rather than any auto. Bus fare is Rs19 . For PDC theres a queue. Better reach before noon so you can get your document by 4pm.

Green campus, well maintained, friendly staffs. Canteen food was good but they should have put some more items in their menu.

Greatest University with full of discipline, not essay to get good percentage and even to get pass out, so lot of week students afraid to choose the university. Students who not confident in them and not hardworking, obviously they will give bad review comment on this University. This is the top #1 Karnataka's University which never moderates its education system and syllabus for any bad review comments. I am studied in the same university graduated MCA in 2010 while studying I am also scolded the university bulky syllabus, but now I am very much thankful for giving such a good knowledge and discipline.

I work as a professor in a vtu affiliated college. I had been here (in Jnana Sangama, Belagavi) for some official work. Very cooperative special officers who sorted out our issue in a very less span of time. Compare to other universities, vtu is the best in all aspects
