You should never feed or touch wild animals - stingrays and fish included. Supporting this (such as buying a drink here to watch) and feeding the stingrays harms the natural ecosystem. Please have some respect and never feed fish!

I had the most memorable trip in Belize thanks to Iguana Reef Inn and their staffs. Everyone is super nice, rooms are clean and spacious, and their beach has the best set up on the island. If youā€™re looking to have a ratchet time, your best bet is on the split area but for the best sunset and relaxation, then this is it. You can also see so much marine life at their beach area and they also do sting ray feeding but people should support by buying drinks at the bar since bait ainā€™t free yā€™all know. It also takes money and labor to continuously maintain their (private) beach area especially when storms come and mess it up. I would definitely come backā€¦!

They're very happy to take your money for cocktails, but they won't allow you to use the restroom. Good cocktails and comfortable couches. Just gotta use the restroom before coming here.

This is easily the best beach in island. The water are nice and we didn't feel pressured to buy stuff, although we did buy something to drink out of respect to the nicely maintained beach. In the sunset they feed the sting rays so many of them come and you can gently pet them. They also feed the tarpons and an occasional nurse shark might show up. I guess it might be ecologically a controversial thing to do, but it happens on this island on a rather big scale anyway (mainly in the snorkel tours).

YES you can visit the bar if you're not a guest. Buy drinks and tip well. Now that that is out of the way, this place is fantastic. The beach and dock area is gorgeous, the sunset can't be beat. The sting rays arrive around 4 and other aquatic life close to sunset. There are many pelicans In the area to observe. The water swings and hammocks are amazing photo ops. There is also a large log out in the water, great for posing. Like the rest of the island, the water is shallow and warm. A must visit.

We spent many sunsets here, tickling the rays as they swam over our toes, sipping on well priced and delicious drinks. There were seahorses right of the jetty too. We actually went back for 3 virgin pina coladas in a row. Fantastic vibe, couldnā€™t recommend more.

Lovely place to catch the sunset. Get there around 4pm to see loads of sting rays. Sit on the shoreline and they'll come and see you! They feed them at little later, so you see piles of sting rays. The pelicans also like a bit of the action so watch your back. They also have eels and seahorse habitat here. Drinks are lovely.

Best place on Caye Caulker. Not only to see the animals but the bar and the Hotel is really beautiful as well. The owner is really nice and I had an amazing time here. I recommend to visiting the bar ,even if you donā€˜t stay here ,to catch the sunset and fell like youā€˜re on the Maledives.

This is exactly what my young daughter and I needed. Relaxing and beautiful. Love the pool, free bikes to use, breakfast included. Drinks at the bar on the beach while feeding stingrays and looking for seahorses, OK with me! Thank you!

Great spot to hang out in Caye Caulker. They have a nice beach where you can hang out and drink something. In the late afternoon you can feed the stingrays, definitely cool thing to do. They treat every animal with the utmost respect.

Inguana reef inn is a really nice setting to enjoy the sunset. The hotel has incredibly friendly and helpful staff and the best (and only) beach on caye caulker. Beautiful room with a really comfortable bed

Awesome staff! Great location. Rooms are very nice and loved the beach bar. Got hit with some bad weather but still made the most of the trip and they had umbrellas for us to borrow!

I would give this Charming spot eleven stars if there was such a thing! I've been twice and am considering it my home away from home. It's 6 hours from leaving my Atlanta home to checking in at the Iguana!

We didn't stay at the hotel but will next time. Iguana Reef is on the quiet side of the island, which makes it a peaceful place to spend your days. The bar staff (Rose, Robert and Trevor) are very friendly. It gets busy around 4pm for stingray feeding. After that, enjoy the beautiful sunset and nurse sharks feeding. There is a seahorse area and a couple eels too. Gently petting and occasionally getting to feed the stingrays was spectacular. Watching the pelicans follow Eric around is adorable! The whole staff works hard to create this little oasis, treat it and them kindly. Buy some drinks to support their work. Thank you for a great vacation and wonderful memories ā¤ļø Check out Il Pelicano down the street for some fabulous Italian food

Great place to watch the sunset. Stingray feeding activity for free from 4 pm. Thereā€™s turtles and seahorse too

We just went to the bar to watch them feed the stingrays and see the seahorses. They did not disappoint! Although we didn't stay long it looked like a great place to hang out!

Best place for the sunset, hands down. Less breeze on this side of the island so the water is pretty still. They feed pelicans and stingrays at dusk and teach you all about them. Sharks and tarpons live under the dock and come out for dinner in the evening. You can see them easily because the underside of the dock is well lit. The drinks take forever and a day to order, get made, and pay for (like 20 minutes seriously) but everything else was super nice.

We didn't stay at the hotel but it looks wonderful and the beach and bar sure is nice, especially at sunset. The bar has a special blended coconut mint mojito - yummy. The sting ray feeding, seahorses and large tarpons are all an added plus and make the atmosphere very festive.

Didn't stay or eat but their beach front is beautiful and the owner feeds sting rays everyday at 430pm. Pretty cool experience.

Great place to buy drinks and lay by the beach. Really calm relaxed part of the island. Preferred this over the split. They also feed stingrays daily and have a bunch of seahorses near their dock.

We didnā€™t stay at the hotel we only visited the bar and beach area. The bartender was super friendly and made us yummy drinks. They have an area where theyā€™ve hung nets in the ocean off the dock so that wildlife can live there. We saw seahorses, baby pufferfish, baby barracuda, tons of other fish, a stingray and a huge sea hermit crab. They feed the stingray in the evening but unfortunately we couldnā€™t stay for it. If you want to see sea creatures from the dock or even get in the water with them this is the place!

Loved this hotel and caye caulker in general. We were in the penthouse with beautiful views and great space. Breakfast is basic but nice and the pool is fantastic. Also great bar and beach. Loved in here. X

We did not stay here in the Inn, but we visit on 4 different occasions to hang out. They have a sand beach, a bar, chairs, swings, umbrellas all out on the ocean. So beautiful here, and this is where the sting rays come up at to the sand at sunset. Stick around after sunset, they feed the tarpons at the end of dock. Its so cool to see the rays and fish! You don't want to miss this place!

My spouse and I had an amazing time during our stay on the island. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The property is in good repair, clean, safe, and managed well. We recommend this property to anyone wanting a great stay on the island and will return in the future.

We went to Caye Caulker from San Pedro for half a day. Several customers suggested to hang out by the beach bar. The bartender was very nice. We waited for the stingray feeding at around 4 pm and went to the seahorse farm by the dock. We enjoyed our visit. The resort looks very nice and clean. There was no sargussum which is an issue with Belize oceanfronts.

What a beautiful haven this was. After 3 days on the island, this was the super chill spot we needed. The staff is incredible, drinks are on point, the music is faint and not blasting your ears off, and the bar food hit the spot. There's a seahorse ground next to the dock where you can spot the lil babies. Also, a great beach where the stingrays come in and (most of them) will let you pet them. It's been my favorite spot thus far and we'll definitely be back tomorrow.

Sea life on site canā€™t be beat, this place is pretty dialed in. Sting Ray interaction, seahorse habitat area, fish viewing off dock is simply amazing. Free paddle boards and bikes are convenient. The on site beach hangout area has water swings and water hammocks plus a great dock. All this made my stay very worth while.
