Tilt-ta-Dock is a great place to get away and relax. Just north of town, it was far enough away to be quiet and close enough to enjoy meals at local restaurants. My wife and I will definitely stay there again. Joe and Laura are friendly and accommodating hosts.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Tilt-ta-Dock for a week. Joe and Laura are the best hosts I have ever met. They are kind and genuine people who have a passion for running a resort business. They went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. Joe lent us $22 BZE when we ordered delivery, but we only had large bills and the delivery guy did not have change. Laura provided us with supplies from her first aid kit after a bicycle fell on my leg and scraped it. My husband helped me clean and sanitize my wound and put two bandages over it. Laura also gave me two more bandages to keep just in case. Another day Joe and Laura shared freshly made corn tortilla chips and canned salsa with us plus another couple because it was one person’s birthday. Joe and Laura treated us not like guests, but like someone would treat a friend. We enjoyed kayaking in the bay and exploring Corozal by bicycle. We had Wi-Fi at the resort, but occasionally it would disconnect, especially on our last night there. Also, one night we tried to shower, but water was cold. It was late, so we reported this to Joe the following day. Turns out each cabana has an individual on demand water heater and ours ran out of gas (propane). The propane tank was promptly replaced and we were able to enjoy warm showers. Also, just a heads up: The water is shallow and there are rocks of various sizes at the bottom of the bay, so I suggest wearing water shoes and avoid diving except at the very end of the dock (check with Joe for an appropriate diving spot).

Ridiculous! Love the resort and people who run it here Mr. A and Marina are WONDERFUL! Very quiet location off the grid kind of. Corozal his a VERY, VERY poor city but they are Very happy people. It seems like we are the only Americans here right now, Restaurants are 50/50 if open right now, Very slow but beautiful! If you can get over the poverty getting to the resort you can forget about it once inside the compound, pool, dock and relaxation is what it's about here... Mayan ruins are nearby and i will add pictures in a couple days for that one. Going to Mexico tomorrow and more reviews to come.. I usually respond to early sometimes.. 2nd day Well the aircondionig went out 3am in the morning yesterday and we had to move to a different cabana..That cabana I was standing on the porch leaning on the railing, When it broke lose and I fell backwards on the porch, I'm ok but again another set back... We really like it here but they need more maintenance..

An absolutely perfect place to relax and unwind! The owners Joe and Laura could not have been more accommodating - I felt privileged to be able to share this beautiful spot with them. Kayaks and bicycles for use when you want them, and a gorgeous dock to enjoy sunset/sunrise from. As a solo female traveller the whole place felt very secure / safe. NB it is around ~20 mins walk from centre of town with not much nearby. This is made easier with a bike, but it is a bit out of the way so not somewhere if you want to be in the thick of things.

Air conditioned, good beds, clean everything. Refrigerator, stove, utensils, cups, fresh water. Wifi, television, beautiful view, amazing pool. Marina and her dad, Mr. A, were amazing and helpful. Mr A actually led us around town on his bicycle our first night as we looked for food that was still open. He is a treasure.

We couldn't have had a better stay and a more relaxing time while visiting Corozal! Everything was perfect and so well maintained, Marina and Mr A where always accessible if we had any questions or needed anything. We would definitely choose Tilt- Ta- Dock again!

Tilt-Ta-Dock was everything we could have asked for, imaged and hoped a family vacation could be. The cottages were great for our party of 13 allowing everyone to have their own space. The common area by the pool and the beautiful pool were great gathering spots for everyone and the downstairs kitchen area allows us to have in-house breakfast and other group meal. Laura and Joe were the consummate hosts--helping plan our adventures and meals all in a timely manner and with an "all things are possible" attitude. Can't wait to be back at the resort with a group of friends.

I cant say enough good things about this place, if you want some privacy, seclusion, very close to the ocean, quiet, and being safe and secure at a good price... this is your spot...The staff and owners really make you feel like family and will do what it takes to make you feel welcomed and comfortable... we stayed here 4 days out of our 2 week vacation to belize and we plan to stay here on our return to Belize in a few months... The rooms are clean and neat... a bit tight as for space but perfect for a couple plus your gonna spend more time outside relaxing outside by the dock, pool, or under a tree looking at the water

My boyfriend (Mark) and I stayed at Tilt-a-Dock for 10 spectacular days.Joe, Laura and their very sweet dog Lyla, were the perfect hosts.There is so much to say about our incredible vacation. The absolute beauty,friendliness of the locals and other vacationers,the food,the weather..... Jose the bartender was fun and entertaining,they are lucky to have him..In a nutshell, Mark and I are already planning for our next trip and we are going to stay longer next time. "I'm living your life" the owner Joe says. He truly wants you to have a great experience and we definitely did. Some he took fishing...others wanted massages. He owns a boat which took some to the nearby ruins across the bay and all of us on a cruise at quaint establishments for breakfast, lunch and some booze. The bicycles gave transportation to the local markets to interact with the Belizians. The kayaks gave everyone the opportunity to tryout their skills in the beautiful bay. The cutest cabana's, large dock and pool/bar with our very own Jose made our stay complete. Wake up to the most beautiful sunrises! Stay in and enjoy cooking or try the local cuisine. Definitely recommend Joe's breakfast to start your day! We came with friends to make great memories and left with stories and met new people to call our friends!

This resort is absolutely amazing! The views are gorgeous, the room well equipped, and the hosts treat you like friends! They go above and beyond!
