We had a wonderful time with Ian and the ATM tour. He was conscientious of both us and the cave and rainforest environment which was much appreciated. The cave itself was such a unique experience from hiking, swimming, caving, to archaeological exploration. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone who physically can to join and experience this tour with Explore Inland tours. Being able to swim, hike, and be willing to squeeze through some smaller spaces is part of the tour ! We also did the cave tubing tour with Handsome as our guide. He shared lots of information on our ride and was helpful in delivering us to our next hotel as well which was much appreciated. This tour was quite different from the ATM and much more doable for those with less physical ability, though walking and swimming skills are still required. Handsome walked us through the float and shared cave information. Low key and enjoyable.

We toured ATM cave and Tikal with Explore Inland. Both tour guides were knowledgeable and excellent. For ATM, our guide did not rush us and deftly guided us away from other groups for the best experience. For the Tikal tour, our guide made the border crossing so easy and he also navigated us away from the other tourists through the old forest trails. Both guides took their time to show us the flora and fauna along the way. We learned so much about the Mayan and Belizean cultures while having a blast. Thank you!

Highly recommend using this company. We booked two excursions with Xplore, and both were great, the guides given to us were highly knowledgeable, and friendly. The first tour was the ATM cave, our guide got us into the cave and to the end before the crowds, this definitely made the tour more enjoyable beause it was just us. Once all the other tour groups arrived you would here multiple giudes talking and it was crowded. The experience was unlike any other, and highly recommended. The second day we took a tour to mountain pine ridge , where we visited rio frio cave, had a great lunch at the rio on the pools and then to big rock falls where you can swim under the waterfall and jump off the rocks. It was just our guide and one other guest, which again made the tour so much more enjoyable not having to travel with a large group. We had a great two days wish we would have had more time in San Ignacio to enjoy more of the tours they offered.

AMAZING! We did the ATM tour with Ian and it was beyond fantastic. Ian was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and fun! We also had the added bonus of a private tour! This was easily one of the coolest things we have ever done, not just because the cave is stunning, but because Ian was a blast! I highly recommend this company. Booking was easy and Sergio was very responsive. We hope to do other tours with them in the future!

Just got back from the Caracol & Rio Frio Cave tour today! If you find yourself in San Ignacio and care about Mayan ruins more than walking into the wet dark slipperiness of ATM cave, this takes you to the largest Mayan city in Belize without driving ten hours into Guatemala’s Tikal. First edifice in Caracol was built in 70 AD (same year as the destruction of Solomon’s Temple halfway round the world) and the rest of the uncovered sites are from the 800s, the height of Maya. There are about ten, which is est to be 1% of the total, we learned. But the best part was our highly-trained guide Selmo Garcia, who also knew every tree, had us taste or smell the fruits or leaves from many, demonstrated the mandibular strength of leafcutter ant soldiers, wrangled tarantulas and shared all from the perspective of a proud Mayan. He brought his wife’s great cooking for lunch, took us to an immense open limestone cave that was something out of King Kong or Jurassic Park, stopped at his auntie’s for an introduction to her sister, a healer in Mayan Center, our next stop. And was funny, charming and a good driver. The only negs were that the agency charged extra for using plastic to pay for the tour, but only 3.5%. And since it was raining by late afternoon, we admired the view but declined the dip into Rio On Pools, by a waterfall.

Must do cave tubing while in the area! Edbin went above and beyond to give us a wonderful caving experience . It was a small group and he really knows his local history. I would definitely recommended booking with this company .

Our first day in Belize we went on a tour of Mountain Pine Ridge with Marco from Explore and he was a fantastic guide! He quickly picked up on exactly the stuff we were interested in and catered the tour accordingly. Marco was very good at sharing his knowledge of the plants, wildlife, and history of the area while also giving us just the right amount of space and time to really enjoy it. They provided a home cooked lunch which was great and more than I could finish. On the way back to town I mentioned some of the fruits I wanted to try and they got me fresh cashew fruit from Sergio's back yard! We enjoyed our time with them so much that when we wanted to tour The Zoo and Inland Blue Hole a couple days later we requested Marco again. Then when we needed a shuttle to Belize City Sergio arranged for his son to take us. It's a great family run tour company and I'm glad they were recommended to us!

My husband and I went on the Cave Tubing adventure. Josh was our guide. He was adorable and helpful every step of the way. He even carried my tube for me on the hike (because it was my birthday?)! He was very attentive to what we wanted, like when I didn’t want to swim in the deep water of the cave, we just moved on. My husband was sad because he couldn’t take his big nice camera on the tour because “he would need a permit because it is like a professional camera.” So we made due with my iPhone 7. Still, it was a fun time. Sergio is a super nice guy to deal with, too, and seems very trustworthy. Finally, Kayla (Sergio’s daughter) who works the front desk is very friendly and full of good tips for travelers. I highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing time on the caving and zip lining tour. Our guide, Handsome, absolutely made our day. He was so friendly and funny, we all felt at home with him immediately. He has an extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area and we learnt so much! Highly recommend.

We did 3 tours with Explore inland tours and I couldn’t recommend them more. We had lots of fun with amazing guides and Sergio was able to accommodate us and all the tours we wanted to do in a short period of time. We did ATM cave, Xunantunich/cave tubing and barton creek/mountain pine ridge and had the time of our lives thanks to this company!

Went on three tours with them. Each one of them was amazing. The ATM tour was lead by Ian and he was so informative and very funny. The big rock falls/barton creek and xunantunich/cave tubing tours were lead by Hob and he was the best, also very funny. Sergio hooked us up with good prices and tours the very next day. Highley recommend Xplore Inland Tours!

My husband and I had a fabulous guided trip to Caracol Mayan Temple with Handsome. It was beyond awesome. Handsome is a great driver, an experienced professional tour guide and makes a great lunch. The ruins, the wildlife - especially the howler monkeys- were incredible. We recommend highly

We had an amazing day with Sergio (the owner) and our tourguide Mr. „handsome“ ! The jungle and the caves were incredible. Apart from this you should ask Sergio for a haircut at his friend‘s barbershop. That guy Larry did an amazing job🥳
