I wish we booked all our tours through them. We did the ATM Cave tour with Hector and the Xunantunich tour with O’Neill and I can not express how much YOU NEED TO DO THE TOURS WITH THESE AMAZING PEOPLE! Incredibly knowledgeable and it shows how much they care about these sites. I learned more in this 1 day, 2 tours combo than I did all the other tours combined. I will be highly recommending them to all my friends coming to Belize!

We just got back from visiting Tikal, a Mayan ruin across the border (from Belize) in Guatemala. Cayo Inland Expeditions was priced very reasonably. Guides and drivers were punctual and awesome, everything ran like clockwork, exactly as advertised, food was fantastic (obviously, when visiting Mayan ruins, i would be concerned about the food 😎). Our guide through Tikal was Louis, and his English was excellent, and he was so knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic.

We had a great time with Cayo Inland Expeditions while we were in San Ignacio. The ATM Cave Tour was incredible. Our guide, Hector, was an amazing storyteller who shared the history of the cave while taking us on the adventure. Ruben, in the office, provided great guidance and information about all of the tours available. He also had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in town. Would highly recommend!

We had the best time at ATM caves with these guys! Ruben in the office was so kind and helpful. O’Neil, the driver, was informative and shared his local expertise on all the areas we passed through and provided us with a delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day. JamJam, our tour guide, was hilarious and extremely interactive - he made the history of the caves super easy to understand. We laughed a lot! Would highly recommend! Thank you Cayo Inland Expeditions for a wonderful day!

We did two tours with Cayo Inland Expeditions - the half day Xunantunich and full-day ATM Cave. Both were excellent and we really enjoyed our guides Dimos and Jam Jam. They were both very knowledgeable about the history of the sites as well as wildlife. Everything went very smoothly and setup was easy despite having to move some things around because of heavy rains. The lunch they made for us during the ATM tour was delicious, including great vegetarian food! Highly recommend them!

Absolutely amazing company - they are so great at communication (we used Whatsapp) and super on time with the pick up and ATM cave - we used them for a water taxi pick up to San Ignacio then a full day ATM tour Every part of the journey was just amazing! Don’t judge their office in San Ignacio as that’s just the transaction place - their cars are new, the guides are brilliant and amazing food too! Use them for all your excursions in San Ignacio

We booked all of our tours with Cayo Inland Expeditions which I would 100% recommend. We had the pleasure of working with David & Jeremy, both knowledgeable, kind-hearted, patient people who made our experiences so enjoyable. It was our first time in Belize and we will definitely be back thanks to the hospitality of the Cayo team. We’ll see y’all soon!!!!

My husband and I booked all our activities around San Ignacio with Cayo Inland Expeditions and could not be happier that we did! The ATM tour was incredible. Our group only had 4 people + our awesome guide. We arrived early and made our way through the caves. The guide made sure everyone in the group knew exactly where to put their hands and feet in challenging areas of the caves. He was very knowledgeable and engaging when talking about the caves' history and their archaeological importance. While on our way out from the caves we realized how the Cayo Inland Expeditions tour was perfectly timed to avoid a ton of larger groups that were coming into the caves. Lunch was delicious! Then we headed to Xunantunich with Dimas, and had an amazing afternoon learning about the Maya civilization. Dimas is such a delight to spend time with and can answer all the questions you may have about the Mayas. We were so happy to see Dimas picking us up the next day for our tour to Caracol. We once again had a perfect day! Dimas is an incredible birder and if you like bird watching, make sure to let him know because he will help you spot and identify the most amazing birds you have ever seen!! Cayo Inland Expeditions even helped us arrange last-minute transportation to Belize City. They really made our very short stay in San Ignacio unforgettable. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend Greg and I booked two tours with Cayo Inland Expeditions. First tour was ATM/Xunantunich combo. Dimas picked us up and drove us to the location of the ATM cave. Our certified guide, Hector led us on our journey across the river and into the cave. Hector was very knowledgeable and kept us safe. We enjoyed every minute of it. After we trekked back out we enjoyed a delicious Belizean lunch. Dimas then drove us to Xunantunich. We took the hand cranked ferry across the Mopan River. We parked and walked a short distance to the ruins. Wow! Dimas shared lots of information and led us as we climbed the large pyramid…what a view. A couple of days later Dimas picked us up again and this time we were headed to Mt Pine Ridge Reserve. We went to Rio Frio Cave which was vast and beautiful. We also went to Rio on Pools and the Big Waterfall. We had another delicious lunch. I can’t express just how much we enjoyed the tours. Dimas was amazing and we are so glad we got to meet him. Thanks for the outstanding adventures! Tina and Gregorio

We booked a tour at the office for the ATM cave. Ruben was very friendly en helpful in our decision which tour we wanted to do. The tour itself was amazing! The shuttle was good, the guide was very good and he knew everything we asked. This experience was amazing. Lunch was very good if you eat meat. For vegetarians it’s not much.

These people are wonderful. They made our time in San Ignacio unforgettable. Their office staff and guides were super helpful and knowledgeable. I did two days of tours with Dimas, one combo day to Xunantunich and a waterfall pontoon tour which was SO COOL with their wonderful boat captain jamaal and then a half day tour to Barton creek cave. These people are super professional and the locations they take guests are beautiful, adventurous, fun. Jeremy in the office helped make a chocolate tour happen for us and also coordinated a shuttle to the airport for me. These people know their stuff and go above and beyond to make your trip special, easy and efficient. Thanks guys!

Cayo Inland Expeditions was recommended to us by our AirBnB host, and we are so glad we used them for our transfers and tours versus the larger companies. We did a round-trip private transfer from the airport to San Ignacio; Josh was extremely friendly and prompt, greeting us at the airport with a sign and helping us with our bags. On the way back, Josh took us on a tour through the Belize zoo and dropped us off at the water taxi. Josh is super knowledgeable of the area and had tons of recommendations. We also did the ATM cave tour, which was absolutely incredible. The ATM cave is a must-see in Belize — one of the most incredible sites and experiences. Wayne drove us to and from the site, and set up an awesome lunch for us (BBQ chicken, rice and beans, plantains, salad, soda) and was such a fantastic host, giving us great recommendations and telling us about the land and history of the area. Hector was our ATM cave tour guide and we had an amazing time. We were just a group of two (versus the other companies where you’re almost guaranteed to have a full 8-person tour) and we were almost the first people in the cave so had a much more personal experience. Hector has been doing the ATM tour since 2004 and is one of ~35 guides that is certified to do the tour. His knowledge of the archaeology, history, and natural structures is outstanding. A huge, HUGE thank you to the owner JP and team for the incredible experience!

We had an incredible experience! Cayo was willing to let us customize our tours, so we were able to do everything we wanted to do in our 1 day in San Ignacio. Shout out to Dimas, who is by far the best tour guide us 4 girls have ever had! He was energetic, knowledgeable, funny and charismatic. We really enjoyed our time with him (and David in training)! I would recommend Cayo to anyone visiting Belize!

Just finished the half day guide tour of Xunantunich with Jeremy as our tour guide. Jeremy got us to our destination early and we beat the crowds and pretty much had the place to ourselves! Jeremy was very knowledgeable on Mayan history and local flora and fauna. He took time answering all my questions and took excellent photos of my wife and I. You could really tell his passion in what he does. I highly recommend this tour and booking it with Cayo Inland!

We did the full day tour of Xunantunich and cave tubing - really happy with the overall experience. Reuben in the office in town was super helpful and friendly while our tour was informative, interesting and a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Cayo Inland Expeditions. We did the ATM Cave tour which ended up exceeding all expectations. The guides were great, lunch was delicious and the cave was really cool.

Great tour company! We booked the atm tour with them and Reuben at the kiosk was super kind. Their prices are competitive & above all they are very understanding of your needs. We were having some issues with cash withdrawal and when we told them they happily let us pay with card without any surcharges! The transportation provided was very comfortable. And the included lunch was awesome! We saw the lunches provided by some other companies and we can safely say our one looked the best! The bbq chicken was so yummy & amazing flour tortilla too! We ate from proper plates with cutlery and had a picnic table cloth, which was very nice considering other companies provided lunch in plastic boxes. We were also given water, soda and chocolate bar as part of the meal. Overall highly recommend!
