Let
me
start
this
review
by
saying
I
have
been
part
of
a
research
group
staying
at
the
Pine
Ridge
Lodge
for
the
last
month
and
a
half.
I
have
seen
many
guests
come
and
go,
and
many
interactions
during
my
stay,
which
I
believe
offers
offers
a
unique
perspective.
The
lodge
is
situated
in
the
Mountain
Pine
Ridge
Forest
Reserve,
an
ecologically
fascinating
biome
(think
dinosaur
habitat).
The
lodge
sits
right
off
the
main
road,
providing
convenient
access
for
vehicles
that
may
not
be
able
to
handle
the
roads
that
lead
to
the
other
surrounding
lodges.
The
lodge
features
numerous
suites
nested
within
an
array
of
ornamental
plants
and
trees,
providing
more
than
enough
privacy.
There
is
a
plethora
of
wildlife
in
the
area,
especially
birds,
and
if
you’re
lucky
you
may
witness
the
Tapir
that
lurks
down
by
the
stream
at
night.
The
lodge
is
run
by
Neil,
his
wife,
and
small
subset
of
staff.
They
treat
all
their
guests
as
if
they
were
family,
and
work
studiously
to
provide
the
best
experience;
often
tailoring
to
personal
needs.
If
there
is
an
issue,
they
will
be
there
to
make
sure
it
is
resolved.
In
addition,
everywhere
within
the
lodge
is
always
kept
clean
and
tidy.
During
my
stay
I
have
had
no
problems,
been
treated
respectfully,
and
have
felt
more
than
welcome.
If
you
decide
to
pick
the
the
Pine
Ridge
Lodge
as
your
destination,
make
sure
you
order
Neil’s
pizza
as
it
is
(personally)
the
best
in
Belize.
