We went on the Tour with Coconut Pete last week. It was the best Tour we had in whole Belize. Coconut Pete was more than great, always looking for us and we immediatly felt like going on a trip with a friend we know for years. Coconut Pete is doing his Job with his whole heart and he shows his love to Nature, the river and the Ruins to his guests. We spotted Lots of crocodiles, turtles and many different coloured birds on the way there. We also had a magical experience with a whole troop of baboons just passing by on the tree close to us. The whole Trip was absolutly amazing and we highly recomment Coconut Pete as a Tour guide. Don't miss his Tour!!!

Ignacio, Dora, and Junior did a great job with our tour. They were funny but also very knowledgeable about the history of the area, and you could tell they have a great respect for their land. The river boat ride over and back was beautiful, and the scenery was spectacular. The lunch was also great to come back to after hiking in the hot, humid weather. We enjoyed trying traditional Belizean food.

This tour and our guide coconut Pete were both amazing. Boat ride was fun( think Indiana Jones) and pack full of wild life that we saw thanks to our friendly knowledgeable guide, coconut Pete. He was also our guide for the walk of the jaguar tour to the temples. A great day topped off by a delicious lunch at the temple site.

Vladimir’s was great. He took our group to the ruins and gave us a great, knowledgeable tour. Top notch adventure!

We had the most AMAZING time!!!! Coconut Pete was AMAZING! He was SO much fun. He had so much knowledge of the Lamanai Mayan Ruins and the lunch they served was DELICIOUS! highly recommend! The boat ride was beautiful. He kept us all entertained and we were smiling the WHOLE time. Thank you SO MUCH! MY MOM AND I HAD A BLAST!

Coconut Pete was a fantastic tour guide, he had lots of information on wildlife, locals, the Mayan people. It was truly a treat to go on this tour!

Our trip to Lamanai was AMAZING! Coconut Pete made it an unforgettable experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and made the day so much fun. The river tour to get to the ruins was wild! We saw so much wildlife and Coconut Pete took his time to point things out and explain about the history of the area as we went along. Once we got to the site, we were blown away with the beauty, history, and Coconut Pete's expertise. We ended with a delicious Belizean lunch before heading back on the river. We would absolutely book with Lamanai River Tours again and recommend them to our friends and family.

Incredibly knowledgeable and exciting tour. Beautiful property at the start, good speed boat to get you to the ruins, great tour guide and exciting tour being able to hike up the ruins.

This tour was absolutely a highlight of my trip to Belize! Not only do you get to see the ruins, but the boat tour to the ruins was a fantastic experience! They stopped all along the river to show us different wildlife and plants, our group felt well taken care of, and they fed us while we were at the ruins and showed us all around. Extremely professional, courteous, friendly. Everything you could ask for in an experience like this. Highly recommend!

My buddy and I joined at the last minute. The company drove us to a pick up point to meet the boat for the tour and took care of us as if we had been staying there for weeks. The staff accommodations were the best I’ve ever seen. Outstanding service and support we thank you from NE, USA!

It was a great journey, Lamanai was amazing and Coconut Pete made sure our expectations were exceeded! We had an "unbelizeable" time! Coconut Pete was a smooth navigator, gave great information on Lamanai, and provided an excellent lunch as well!

We had such a wonderful experience on this tour! Our tour guide was "Coconut Pete" (aka Lewis), and he did a fantastic job of both navigating and driving the boat to and from the ruins, and also guiding us around the said ruins, with so much information. Our tour price included lunch, which was one of the tastiest ones we've had in Belize (chicken, rice and beans, pickled onions, salads, fried bananas). Coconut Pete knows the river intimately, and as such, was able to guide us to areas where he knew we would find wildlife (birds, crocodiles, turtles, bats, amongst other things). What we really enjoyed also was that there were only 8 passengers on the boat, whereas all the other tours seem to have quite a few more people than that. Five stars all around!!!

They took great care of us! We crossed the border early in the morning and we weren’t going to make it to the tour on time. They facilitated car transport to meet the boat on the river and we were still able to go. The tour guide was brilliant, funny and very knowledgeable. The lunch provided was delicious. Just be sure to bring plenty of water!

We had a fantastic tour today with Coconut Pete!! We highly recommend Lamanai River Tours! Coconut Pete was so awesome at pointing out all the wildlife along the way and way back. We saw Iguanas, lizards, lots of bird life, bats and multiple CROCODILES! When we got to Lamanai the tour was awesome. Coconut Pete was very knowledgeable and was so great answering all my son’s questions!! To top it off, we had an amazing home cooked Belizean lunch! The whole day was unbelizable!!
