πŸ‘πŸ‘ Very intimate venue, and the architecture is awesome. It's easy to find, but I recommend Ubering here as parking is tight. Didn't try the mixed drinks but the draft beer was good. I would come back here for another show, especially since it's historic. People often mention venue, show, great, drinks, good, Great, nice, intimate, time, band,

Shows here are intimate and amazing. Just adds to the vibe of the venue along with just the history of the building.

Good venue, great music, poor bar service. Place is renovated and restrooms are clean. Music is great and good floor/ space for dancing. Bar service is poor. Only two bar tenders, it took exactly 30 minutes to close out. Bar is not organized.

Second time I get to see the band the Koffin Kats. The show was great and the location matched the energy for sure. There was parking available which definitely helped a lot.

We went to see Tiki Lewis and her band, Piel Music. The sound, was excellent!!! Piel's performance was phenomenal...especially Tiki! We flew in from Pennsylvania just to see Piel...and it was all worth it. We had the best time! The atmosphere was very cool. I cannot say enough! It will definitely be good memories. Also the area is historic & the architecture is impressive. The staff is super friendly! Jose answered all my questions in a timely manner...very kind!

This is a historic ballroom in Boyle Heights that's been resurrected. It's been beautifully updated with out loosing it's classic architecture. Just saw Cherry Wine and The Rhythm Shakers and both were amazing.🎸🀘 The sound in there is great.🎢 Great drinks.🍸 Props to Mario for doing an amazing job of this place.πŸ‘ Can't wait for The Brooklyn Ave. Pizza Co. I will definitely be a regular there.🍻

They refused to give me tap water even though I was purchasing drinks. Music was good. Venue was nice. But the water thing is ridiculous. Most bars and venues give tap water, as they should Reply to owner, there was NO miscommunication, the bartenders flat out refused even after typing it out on my phone. They said the manager didn't allow it. , repeatedly. It is a greedy tactic to sell $3 water bottles. If it's a matter of wasting bartender's time, place cistern at the end of the bar, and patrons can grab water at their discretion.

Saw the Koffin Kats this last weekend and it was AMAZING! The other reviews about the drinks were not kidding. They were strong and they were served quickly. I had a great time and I'm planning on coming back for another show soon.

This venue is awesome! They have my favorite music. Tickets are pricier around $50. I have seen Conor Oberst, Devendra Banhart, Japandroids, and Feist recently. Such great shows..long shows about 2 hours. I am going to see Cat Power next month. All my favorite bands play here. Alhambra venue still running.

I've been here twice . One for a comedy show and one for a gig. Both times have been pleasant. I love the atmosphere and the bartenders know how to pour their drinks! 😏 Definitely recommend this hidden gem. I would have never expect this place to be here in the middle of Boyle Heights! Come check it out! Everyone is nice and welcoming.

The place is nice, we went to the Inspector show, we waited almost 3 hours for them to come out, if the people are going to wait that long, at least the place should have a nice DJ set, the DJ that was playing was boring, it was hot inside, long line to get drinks, I mean, it is a nice place, I just didn't like to wait that long for the performer

Great venue. Their ticket scanner person is not very attentive to the job and double scanned my ticket and told me that my ticket was invalid. I asked for a manager and they immediately said i was being aggressive when all i wanted to know was what time the first scan was, obviously it was mere seconds before the second scan. Luckily the manager was quick and understanding of my situation and didn't ruin the experience for me.

Nice place to hear music. I loved the homage the venue paid to the East LA music scene. I was a part of the ELA punk scene as a regular at The Vex Club, and I was lucky to be friends with some of the bands, artists, and others who made it happen. The wallpaper in the entrance was covered with reproductions of flyers for many of the shows I attended at The Vex. The inside was nice a roomy, but could use more seating and the balcony outside had seats but it was full of smokers. The sound seemed good and the stage/lighting decent. The band I saw on this evening were great (Messer Chups) the band right before them...not so much. I did not appreciate a foul-mouthed drunken 300 pound shirtless cowboy having his own party onstage without inviting anyone else. Musically they were good but I lost interest quickly. And people holding their phones up to video everything were annoying, as were some pushy audience members who barged in front of us. Also, there is NO parking. You are on your own on the streets. Lastly, the reason I did not rate the venue 5 stars is because they still use plastic cups for drinks. This has to stop. I was just at Alex's Bar in Long Beach and they use glass. Please remember, NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET. Stop using plastic, period. I will go back and will particularly be paying attention to the servingware.

Love this space! Reminds me of The Echo in its' early era. The venue is intimate, nicely re-done, with great staff/drinks. Ventilation was right & the sound system was solid. Recommend grabbing dinner downstairs (their pizza was delicious). Have been to hundreds of shows & this is a perfect venue for rising new artists to play at or for an unforgettable exclusive show with your favorite big band. We look forward to our next show The Paramount!

Small venue above Brooklyn Pizza in Boyle Heights. Booking by Anthony Valadez from KCRW. Friendly bartenders. Cool crowd. Great little spot.

This place was very intimate, fits a lot of people . Great concert experience overall but the bar can definitely use some organization and more clear lines. There was a lot of cutting which made it impossible to get a drink and there is absolutely no organization at the bar.

Claims to be ADA accessible but when I enquired about an elevator I was told I could come through the back and would still need to take stairs. When asked for ADA seating was sat in the back of venue where multiple employees attempted to take my seats until assured it was okay by security. NOT ADA FRIENDLY

KCRW GLOBAL BEAT LIVE! - Sgt Papers + Marion Raw + Parque de Cometas. Awesome new bands and new experience. The Paramount was great! Except the Bartender over charged me but said i would get refunded. Other than that AWESOME new bands and experience. KCRW KEEP IT UP!

Small venue but it makes for a intimate show. Your so close and it feels personal with the band. The brick building gives you a realy old school vibe to the place and the walk up the stairs isn't bad at all. The staff was friendly and organized, they offer free parking if your coming to the show witch is nice because not haveing to park on the street is always a win.
