Yesterday we all are went to Have the wonderful Hyderabad  Chicken dum biryani at Dosa Hut  geelong , We order a Family Pack hyd Chicken dum Biryani with regular spicy ( wich means what hyd restaurants served to locals) and Chicken Noodles for our little ones. Biryani came. We have served. Whether or not it put a lump in the mouth. Does not seem to eat yet. That's the worst biryani  we ever had in our life and The whole is salty. Ah Biryani contains 75% Gravy, 25% Rice( that to cold rice),and some chicken pieces .we are all biryani lovers, we knew very well about Dosa Hut, Food would be good there. But when we ordered the biryani yesterday we could not eat even a spoon. Was very frustrated. I do not know who the chef is. Now coming  to noodles. Chicken noodles also worst I can't explain like above. We did not even step back to pay. But we went with the feeling of not being able to eat satisfactorily. The reason I am writing the review is that you should never do this again .Don't lose dosa hut good name . Note : pls watch the images carefully specifically biryani which only Gravy

We had been to Dosa Hut Geelong. The food there was amazing. Really liked the Chicken 65 Biryani. The Tandori Platter was amazing. Good ambiance and service is outstanding. Will definitely return.

Good place for indian food. The papri chat was really good. Chicken dosa was very delicious, highly recommended. Plain dosa was so so. Good staff and good service.

Please avoid! There are better restaurants around. Worst staff, took an order and came to the table only after 50 mins with a wrong order. When asked about the food the staff even argued that's how it's made. All the gravy we order were very bad. Overall a disgusting experience and bad food.

Honestly, not having much expectation as so many Indian style restaurants in Geelong hit and miss a non-consistent, we decided to buy Dosa Hut. The service was extraordinary, and they were so proud of the different foods that they wanted to offer us a Sample and they did and Mar to our delight. It was delicious.. This definitely helped us in making a choice for orders, and when we had received the food that we ordered again, we were extra pleasantly surprised. The girls are running the show and there are no boys to be seen so we highly recommend everyone to come down here and have a crack.

So this place had great food and I would 100% recommend getting some takeaway Dosa. South Indian food is definitely something to experience. Great mango lassi too. Unfortunately the restaurant itself is quite dirty. There were crumbs of food all over the seats and one of the male wait staff looked like he was about to pass out. We definitely got the 'ugh please don't come in' look when we turned up at 8:30pm. I imagine the staff were wanting to close early. There was however a female server who was in very good spirits and smiled at everyone.

We decided to have some delicious lunch with family. Ended up at @dosahut_geelong 🖤Just one word - DELICIOUS!! 🤩The the first thing you notice is the beautiful aromas as you walk in the door. This restaurant is spacious and modern. Great ambiance with pleasant hospitality. And the best part it’s 100% Halal. We ordered 🍚Chicken Fried Rice 🍚Egg fried Rice 🍜Chicken Noodles 🍝Prawn Noodles 🥘Chicken Manchurian 🍲Chicken Chilli 🍛Chicken 65 (dry) 🌯Chicken 65 Dosa 🍨Gulab Jamun 😋Totally loved the food here and the spice level. We had "Chicken 65 dosa+vada+idli". Dosa and vada were really superb and freshly made. 🤩The Chicken Noodles and Chicken chilli was divine and the Chicken Manchurian with Fried rice was mouth watering. They've nailed the taste and flavours of the dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed every meal and drinks ordered.😎 💯Food was full of flavour, chicken was tender and cooked beautifully. The dessert - Gulab jamun was a great finish. . Lovely food lovely hospitality!! Great place to go and enjoy some delish food!! We had a nice family time with family. The food quantity was enough to serve all. The reception was very friendly and accomodating. We would luv to visit again. 🥰Our server Arsh was fantastic, he was extremely helpful and very friendly. He also gave us good recommendations.😃 Definitely our go to for a good continental and Indian meal.

Dosa hut geelong never again, been there last Wednesday, extremely poor quality food. Ordered dry chicken Manchurian and paneer dosa. Chicken Manchurian full of oil, chicken was swimming in oil (see photo below), taste was terrible, no consistency in dish. Paneer dosa stuffing got excessive amount of spices, burnt my mouth, taste was horrible. Just avoid this place and save your money for better places around.

Don't bother ordering dosa as they have no idea what a dosa is. Noodles was too salty with 95% noodles and 5% vegies. $19.90 for a small serve of noodles... you got to be kidding. Rip off not recommended👎

Good food. Generous portions. The (egg paneer) dosa was especially impressive in size and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!

Only one server takes care of all the restaurant, beside waiting on tables she was a cashier, bussing the tables and filling up all to go orders. So the service was below par. Food was just the same very bland. They have so many things on the menu so it seems like nothing is good. We ordered three different things all below par. Also, please don't use the restroom.

The food is super spicy, I am an Indian who can eat very spicy food but they serve food which can make you sick and then they say only you are the ones complaining. The food is priced 40% higher than the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. The service has gone down from good to average to very poor. The staff is rude and says this is how we serve. Used to be our favourite place in Geelong, now one of the worst and unfortunately the owners don’t care as there aren’t too many choices in Geelong. UPDATE: The owner's reply to this comment says it all. Wow.

Worst customer service ever in dosa hut. Tried to order food at 3:45pm wouldn’t pickup call. Then finally picked up with no greeting rude voice saying they are opening back at 4:00pm. Totally understandable if you are closed but advertised to be open. Called back at 4:00pm asked if i can place order as I really wanted to try the food. Girl was taking order like she is paying for the food rude AF. Please pay them well or find better employees. I have never had this kind of behaviour in any dosa hut before. Really disappointing and concerning. Best of luck you really need it.

Very excited to see ‘Dosa Hut’ in Geelong. Great location and fantastic service. Went there twice. Just a bit disappointed with chutneys, especially the red one. It appears nothing but some ready made tomato sauce, mixed with pickle sauce ? The white chutney is sticky.. Not sure what it’s made of. Hope they would use some South Indian recipes to make justice to the restaurant name.

Just got the food at home and found this wrapper in the curry it’s very disappointing because we were regular customers of them but from last few visits we were ignoring their bad hospitality and services but we are really shocked 👎🏻👎🏻

Placed takeaway order and waited for 45 minutes but still nothing. I understand sometimes it can take extra time but when i asked again after 30 minutes they said we don't have what you ordered. Like are you kidding me you could have told me while taking the order. How can you not know and make us wait for over an hour. Ridiculous so disappointed.

I have travelled all around the world and experienced real Indian food. There is very few places in Aus that actually have the correct taste that you find in India. Dosa Hut provides real flavour and the staff are always friendly. Geelong in particular seems to really dull down the flavour of the original dishes. At Dosa Hut you get the real deal. Goat curry and Dal Makhani are my favourites but the Indian-Chinese menu is also very accurate.

We had bad experience twice last week I ordered Few items they all came with too much chilly we didn’t eat anything we threw all food in the bin. Today I ordered dry chilly chicken and dry gobi manchria both came with full of oil gravy. Gobi manchuria came with raw uncooked gobi with any coating just full of oil gravy.Again they spoiled our night and money. I tried to call them but they didn’t pick up any my call.No apology no regrets.very bad experience.
