Loved this little bar. Really feels like your are back in time. It also has a very Melbourne vibe about it too, you wouldn't think you'd see this in Geelong. Glad they've made Geelong more classy with fun bars like this. Lots of cocktails on their menu, very friendly staff and they also put some popcorn on your table to really set the vibe. Love it.

The 18th Amendment is a Chicago prohibition themed, speakeasy cocktail bar now with two locations. They combine elegance with innovation, providing not only exciting and beautiful cocktails, but they taste incredible too. 🍸 Initially only intending to come for a drink or two, my friend and I ended up staying for hours, trying almost every cocktail on the menu. There are about 4 with special effects, I appreciated this concept, it really was a lot of fun. 🪄 The service from start to end was exceptional, happily offering to tailor make something or recommend a cocktail to your taste. If for whatever reason you don’t like it, they will replace it with something else. They would rather have you enjoy your drink than sit there with one you don’t like because honestly, is there anything worse? On a Wednesday we were quite shocked with how busy it was! Loved the music too, a lot of popular songs covered to make it sound like the 20’s. An absolute vibe, well done. 🎶

Absolutely love this bar! Everything is just 5 stars, the professionalism of the staff is phenomenal, love how they always top up your water. Will keep coming! Bartenders are also so professional in making the cocktails!

Amazing themed bar in Geelong CBD themed around the prohibition era in the US. Whilst the drinks are pricey, the atmosphere, the amazing service by the staff and the quality of the drinks they serve make it a worthwhile experience. The cocktails all come with their own backstory and I highly recommend taking the server's advice around which one to choose based on the flavour profile you are after. Novelty cocktails sever in a treasure chest or a mini bathtub add to the fun and make this a memorable part of your night out. We have been there for both pre and post dinner drinks and had an enjoyable time on every visit.

Hands down one of the best bars Ive ever been to, come here regularly. love trying out everything on their menu and am always happy leaving. Ive watched them make bespoke drinks and they put a lot of love, attention and skill towards creating something truly unique. Love the lighting, atmosphere, the popcorn and the snacks aswell. everything is really well priced, I have payed the same if not more for cocktails at regular bars/pubs which just arent even remotely special like this place. bring a date, bring a friend, bring the whole family!

This was a great quirky bar with good staff and a wide variety of drinks. Would definitely go back. Impressive selection of whiskeys and gin to choose from also. Cocktail list was interesting (see my photos) but very hard to read in the dark. 🤣

The atmosphere was lovely and I enjoyed the theme of the place. The people who work there were nice and friendly even when it was busy. The drinks were delicious and I had such a good time. I would definitely recommend and go there again.

My friend and I dropped in on a busy Friday night. The staff were lovely, drinks came with only a short wait, and the atmosphere was friendly and upbeat. Great 1920s vibe with excellent wait staff who provide a great hospitality experience. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this bar! We did have to wait a little while for seats to become available but that was our own fault for not booking. We were taken to another bar just around the corner while we waited. The atmosphere was amazing, along with the service provided. Drinks were as described and had plenty of options. I would highly rate 💯

A must go when in Geelong! What an awesome concept. The interior of the bar is just so gorgeous, every detail is perfect for the era. We loved the music covers playing in the background, just such a cool atmosphere. Service fabulous, cocktails incredible!

First visit here, the bar has a wonderful ambience to it. With the old style music you feel like you are stepping back to the 1950s or even earlier. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come back.
