A great starting point is Mi Pueblito, which is easily accessible on foot or by taxi/Uber. From Mi Pueblito, it takes around 30 minutes to reach the top. Along the way, you can observe monkeys and birds in the trees, among other things. Once you arrive at the top, you can admire the city on one side and the Panama Canal on the other.

A great hike to try out for sure. Only down side is that when you reach the top there’s only a partial overlook of the city due to the trees obstructing the views. I get it’s a nature preserve but a few clipping of branches wouldn’t hurt 🤷🏻‍♂️. On the other hand you get a nice view of the huge flag and the canal at the other side.

From the bus @ Policia National, it was a 45min very green & paved hike to the hill. The views are stunning but there is nothing else there so plan accordingly. Mid way there is a little store w vegetarian & vegan options & drinks.

It's a place for tourists and locals, from the top of Ancón Hill you can see the whole city, also the Panama Canal, Panama Ports, Panama Bahia, Cinta Costera, Casco antiguo and famous constructions as Revolution Tower, Trump Tower... Surely I'm missing other places. The hike takes about 40min and it's definitely worth it. At the top of the hill the Panama flag waves. Hope yo enjoy some of my pictures. Some things to point (Panama Government) as we can always do things better... There is no trash cans in the way and not a single water station.

Amazing views of the city of panama and panama port and canal facilities. The hike up there takes only 20 to 30 minutes from "mi pueblito" and you can see some of the local wildlife

Such a gorgeous place and very unique. We saw carpenter ants, several gold weaver spiders, agouti, and tamarins on our hike up. There’s supposed to be sloths there as well, but we didn’t see any unfortunately. Traveler hack: we had our Uber drive us 1/2 way up the hill.
