Great nature center with some hiking trails, play equipment, gift shop and a native plant nursery. The native plant selection is impressive and reasonably priced. The staff are kind and knowledgeable.

Both easy and more moderate walks available on shaded paths. There is a very nice and well stocked store that specializes in all kinds of bird related and outdoor items. The manager and clerk are very friendly and knowledgeable

Beautiful and well marked trails. Nice play area for kids. Make sure to speak with Roxanne while you're there- she's a well of information. The gift shop has a lot of really cool things for kids, gifts, anyone. Take some time to explore the 7 herb beds in the front. They are planted and maintained by the volunteer Piccadilly Herb Club. Enjoy!

They were so helpful picking out native plants for a berm on my back hill. Great selection and prices. Only the monkey flower was root bound, the rest had plenty of soil unlike what you typically find at home improvement stores and garden centers. Will be back in the spring for more.

We did a guided walk through the nature reserve and it was awesome! My kids loved learning about the plants and birds around us, catching tiny little toads which are in abundance this time of year, and we even bought a few native plants for our garden at home.

I love coming here year around. There is always something changing and this time we came for the bird feeding class. The class was indoors, so we didn't find it, but meandered around the trails and watched the birds play and the fish swim and squirrels stash nuts for the winter. It was fun to rustle through the leaves!

Had a Birding 101 presentation today which was very informative. Then a walk thru the gardens to hear and observe birds and their habitats.

Beautiful, well maintained nature reserve and hiking area. Family friendly, with educational areas and play areas, and cool kid-oriented items in the gift shop. Note: because this is a nature reserve, no dogs are allowed except for assistance animals. Hartwood Acres park is nearby and allows dogs (on leash) if you wish to bring your pup along.
