I went to Peaceful Waters for one hour walk in the morning and it was amazing; there were many birds, dragonflies, butterflies, and reptiles. The park opens at 7 am and there are many activities you can do there. There were a lot of soccer fields.

This place lives up to its name. Very nice spot to get away from society for a bit. I love how quiet and peaceful it really was. The small trails makes it even more fun to walk around and explore a little. Keep in mind it's not a huge area but nice enough to go for a walk, meditate or even read a book under a tree.

An absolute gem! You have a few choices on your walk. You can stay on the boardwalk, or you can exit the boardwalk and walk in the grass. Everything is maintained at a first class level. The boardwalk is very smooth. You could easily push a stroller on it. The pics I took begin with walking the perimeter and then end with the boardwalk. The boardwalk is not a circle, it is out and back. There are numerous benches if you need to take a break.

We were looking for hiking trails when we came across this peaceful place. I wouldn't say it's great for hiking, but it is a wonderful spot to stroll around and enjoy the scenery. There's a lot of water, reeds, trees, and a long boardwalk with grassy trails off to each side. Also, it's perfect for bird watchers; several people had expensive cameras to photograph the many birds. There were a lot of herons, coots, limpkins, ibis, and others.

Very busy day at Peaceful Waters. Egrets and herons by the dozens. And then there were the otters. Cute little family with three pups playing and hunting. Great place early in the a.m. Quiet 🤫 and peaceful.

I enjoyed spending about two hours there photographing nature and wildlife. There're many birds, ducks, butterflies and a green iguana. You can walk on boardwalk or path to get up close.

Still haven't seen the otters, but today there were four Roseate Spoonbills. A really wonderful experience. It's nice that you're able to walk off the boardwalk here too!

Quiet and peaceful boardwalk and walking trails. Usually under 10 people walking at a time so a great place to walk alone or with a group. Take notice of the river otters throughout the preserve, saw family of five the last time I was there. Nice retreat with the kids.

We found this beautiful nature center by chance: we were looking for soccer fields open to the public and found them at the Village Park Athletics Complex in Wellington, where we then discovered this small hidden gem in it! You can walk on a boardwalk that goes through the middle of the park; or you can walk on the trail that surrounds the park: both ways are more or less 1 mile walk (no dogs or bikes are allowed). We visit it almost every weekend (when not too hot) to wind down after having played soccer or basketball: it’s so interesting to see how the landscape change during the year! Despite the signs of alligators, we haven’t encountered any so far, but we still don’t venture on the trails during mating season because they are very close to the water… better safe than sorry. But you can see many different birds, turtles and even river otters! A great place to relax and take pics.

Very relaxing environment to take in all of the wildlife! We have brought family and friends here, and they all have really enjoyed it. You see all sorts or birds, ducks, bunnies, lizards and we even saw a family of otters playing.

It's New Year's day 2024. Why not spend it with nature. This was a very non busy place. I saw many ducks birds and an Otter. I would definitely go back. Everyone had magnificent cameras with long telephoto lenses. I had my phone 🤳

Visited in late January - perfect weather, lots of wildlife! Nice little boardwalk to stroll around looking at the beautiful Florida wildlife. Saw egrets, great heron. Ibis, otters, turtles, and even a racoon! Perfect for an hour or so stroll or less, more if you are hanging around to take photos.

Very peaceful and beautiful views of mother nature. Great for an afternoon walk and great for photography. We did go in mid-June so the heat was a bit overbearing and we had to leave quickly. We saw a few birds during our walk.

Beautiful patch of nature on the edge of a city park. Great place to stroll and watch for wildlife like otters, sandhill cranes, and a huge assortment of other Florida birds.

10 Stars!!! Wow! Very well maintained decking and grass Trails. The trails loop around and connect to each other in many places. Nice lengths for the entire family, even a wheelchair. Lots of birds.
