A beautiful beach. Had a wonderful time at the Sugar Sand festival on the 13th. There were vendors and artisans everywhere with great food, art , crafts and gifts. Plenty of things to do for adults and kids. Rides, playground, street performances, live music and a fireworks show arty pair 60 at 8:30pm to top it off. They were also showing Jurassic Word on the beach for free this night. One of the best beaches in .

Well it’s a pier facing West on the Gulf of Mexico where people gather to watch the sunset every night. They charge a dollar to get to the end of the Pier and there are no drinks allowed (or any alcohol allowed anywhere on the beach). For cocktails and live music Key West is better but this isn’t bad. Other good places to enjoy the sunset is the Sandbar the rooftop bar Jimmy’s Crow’s Nest.

Best Beach that I have ever been to. White sand of Clearwater is amazing! Water is clear and clean. It has amazing and beautiful sunsets. Sometimes if you are lucky, you can spot a dolphin in the sea as well. Good halal restaurant that is nearby is Mirage Restaurant. They have sitting place with tents, chairs etc that you can rent otherwise you can bring your own. Parking immediately next to the pier is usually always full but you can easily find parking in nearby areas.

I’ve been here countless times and it never seems to disappoint. It can get awfully busy here sometimes but that adds to the festive atmosphere and fun. Very touristy area so if you’re looking for a beach less crowded and touristy, just go south along the beach towards St. Pete beach and the crowds will start to thin out.

Its a 1000 plus foot fishing pier with a bait house, telescopes and awesome viewing decks. Buy a dollar, catch a sunset and have a good time! Beach was very clean, there are close-by restaurants, bars and shopping places. Also, at the beach there are many live shows to experience. There are always lots of Pelican, seagulls and other birds to see. I was not lucky enough to spot a dolphin though. There are many gorgeous gift shops where you can buy artefacts and jewelleries made from shells, pearls, sea glass, etc. Be prepared to navigate the crowd a bit as this place gets busy during the sunset time. Just relax, click some pictures, do some people watch, enjoy the abundant sunshine and call it a day with some great food and beer!

Very busy. We went for the sand festival. Beach and pier were great so we're the street performers. The only parking we could find was in a garage at $30 a day. There were lots by the hour someone said he thought it was $4 per hour.

Wasn’t there for the sunset but got there for the sunrise , low tide and shelling , beautiful area , if you visit like we did in the Fall , parking is no problem…. as it gets warmer it becomes more crowded

Can’t beat a sunset on a beach. The sand is clean and fluffy, it wasn’t too too congested- especially the further north you go, the pier has vendors, street performers, and fishing access, and there are restaurants and shops up the nearby downtown strip. I think as far as Florida beaches go, you could find better quality water and waves as every time we went was warm, shallow, murky water. Still a beach nonetheless with more than plenty to do or just the ability to relax. Worth a trip! Next time we plan on heading up further north to kayak the smaller islands!
