Took advantage of the VIP option and so glad that I did! The sculptures were amazing! After viewing, we went into the VIP section and relaxed on lounge chairs near the concert stage. Sunset was amazing! We enjoyed three adult beverages and 2 other drinks along with a seafood boil meal with our entrance. Bathrooms with AC, 930 fireworks, front row concert viewing. We were able to take advantage of the free parking and transportation which made the evening even more awesome. Just follow the footsteps back out! I underestimated the event so if you're interested I'm going next year, don't sleep on VIP tickets.

This festival was not what I expected. It's a small more intimate artsy festival. Lots of vendors, food, art and artists! I loved the sculptures and all the small events on the schedule. I got the general admission ticket and it was perfect for my first time attending. I also had child in tote. This place is not stroller friendly so definitely bring a carrier. All in all loved it hope to attend again.

What a amazing experience! We came for the Sand sculptures, but feel in love with the ambiance at the pier, it was an great day with the family. Purchase your tickets online and remember to get your free picture.

These Sand Sculptures are breathtaking and itโ€™s amazing to see the skills these sculptors have, I wouldnโ€™t even know where to begin I can barely build a small castle with a dollar store pail. Personally I think itโ€™s a little pricey (14.00/per person) when it only takes 5 maybe 10 mins (at the most) to go through but itโ€™s nice to come enjoy every couple of years very serene and something different to enjoyโ€ฆ an added bonus is its right on Clearwater Beach (other then the hard to find parking) whatโ€™s not to enjoy about Clearwater Beach where you always feel your on vacation with every visit! Lots of food trucks, Live Music, face paintings and so much more it was a beautiful night out and we were fortunate to have the perfect weather to go along with such a perfect night!

This was my first time attending. Iโ€™m from NH and always attended the yearly castle contest in June. Loved your artist display. A couple suggestions were to put what artist did what castle and where they are from. Also the poster that had the artist pictures and names maybe add where their from from. I had a great time especially liked the voting supporting educational artist program.

This has been the best festival the pier has had. tl was a hell of a drummer and knew exactly how to mix the songs and styles so that we never stopped having fun. I wish I could find his music/business page to support him. The BEST performer I've ever got to see on stage, he had a huge presence. Man I hope he's back next year!

We had a great time at the Sugar Sand Festival this year. We really enjoyed seeing the sand sculptures. They were so impressive. Our boys also had a great time playing in the sand at the beach. Can't wait to go again next year.

The sugar sand festival was a fun day! The sculptures were pretty cool, there were food vendors, live music and the pier had vendors as well. FOUR STARS BECAUSE: One word of caution: parking has changed down at the beach...what used to be city parking "pay per hour" is now owned by a private business and they are charging $35.00 to park for the day. I personally think that is ridiculous. You can try to find street parking or park downtown Clearwater and take the ferry or Jolly Trolley over.
