Over the 6 years I have been a "guest " at Tropic Star resort the rent has gone up every year and the services have decreased. I am a 6/6 guest. Since arriving over a week ago I have put in 3 work orders to have my lawn mowed and trimmed. No response. We used to check in on arrival and get a nice bag with the rules, activities and hang tag for the year of our visit. No longer get the year tag but are told it must be on our nametags to attend resort events. Also the activity book was not ready. Our entire street is currently only occupied by 6 units. Only 2 are occupied by guests. That doesn't mean we don't want the street to look nice. None of the lots have been mowed. Management has told us they want the park to look nice for potential new guests. This park would not survive without volunteers. I have done my part by weeding, trimming and decorating tastefully the outside of my unit. One other change is a rule that no plants of any kind can be planted in the ground. After the big freeze last year there is hardly any foliage, citrus or colorful plants left. I was hoping that for every tree or flower lost in the freeze they would replace it with a new one but they just keep cutting them down. This new rule has never been a rule for over 25 years. I understand asking for permission before planting but this we are told is a total NO to any planting. I could go on but you get the drift. Management, please help. Thank you.

Lovely park and great people for the most part,however... get a bad neighbor like we had ... he attempted to enter our rv several times, complained that we were refilling our water tank, unplugged our power 2x, even turned off our water. Complained to the staff repeatedly and we were told we could no longer rent there. Accused us of using SEVERAL aliases but refused to provide the names! They ruined our trip, telling us to come and pick our site then told us they wouldn't rent to us when we arrived. Beware of this park. Also if you play poker let the manager win or you will be blacklisted at oak springs. My wife and had considered buying a park home we dodged a bullet.

Sure wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing a trailer in Hawaiian Isles in Ruskin, FL! We are 6/6 residents and in the few months since we purchased, we have been threatened with a $150 fine if we put out something they deem unacceptable as household garbage and just a few days ago learned that we will be fined $125 if we don't pressure wash our trailer by January 1st. We are not at the park during the holidays so have no way to comply. I've heard many complaints from other residents about the manager so hoping he gets replaced soon.

We had reservations. Paid over $700. Deposit. We had to cancel due to my illness. The only way to get your deposit back is to show a dr note. I have MS and can’t handle the weather which is my personal choice. My dr won’t give me a note for that. So we were told no refund!!! ( we scheduled last year for this winter 1 year ahead) ! Don’t tell me they won’t be able to rent our site for the winter!

I spoke to Andrew, the manager regarding our Passport America not being honored. He proceeded to call my husband a looser amongst other disrespectful words on the phone while I was trying to conduct a conversation with him. He initially said he'd send a refund of $45, then called me back to tell me because of my husband's attitude, he was not going to refund me. He then started yelling at my husband and I asked if he'd be professional & he kept going on as if he wanted to instigate some sort of fight. I have never seen such an unprofessional representative in my life! This man needs a serious attitude adjustment as well as his meds checked. This is the absolute WORST representation for a company, ESPECIALLY customer service. This is not how any person should be spoken to or treated. No wonder they have 2 stars. Unbelievable!!

We have been going to Pioneer Creek Rv Resort for 10 years. The residents of the park are most wonderful people I have ever meet. That is why we continue to go back. Last year we had a change in management and the park is now run down, grass is not mowed, holes dug that just sit there….I can’t imagine any new campers wanting to come in with the way the park looks. None of the 6&6 renters dare complain because then they will kick you out of the park. It’s amazing the difference one year can make!

The one star rating only reflects proposed changes. How are snowbirds at any of the Wilder Parks in Florida reacting to the proposed set of rules that states that the snowbird season will be October 1st through March31st in the coming year? Asking for many wonderful friends at Blue Parrot.

I have to say that Andrew is seriously a wonderful individual. Regardless of what these reviews say I have spoken to this man on a personal level and he has been incredible to me and my wife. He's working hard to make the best community for us and after a conversation with him I grew more and more respect for him for what he has to deal with on a regular basis. It's hard to be the boss I completely understand that but he does a great job and he has been so respectful to me and my wife. I'm so grateful for the respect that he has shown me and I look forward to many more years living in an wonderful Community like blue parrot

the springs is an ok park that falls short both in living up to advertising and on site management. Only one washing machine which does not qualify as a laundry, hot water heater leaking all over the floor, park office staff blaming corporate for everything. Manager is often not there and when you catch him or leave messages he blames office staff for not telling him about an issue. I plan on staying, but it could be a good park if anyone cared.

The management is extremely rude and disrespectful to the guests, pool has been closed, dirty or freezing much of the time we have been here (6 months). Water gets shut off randomly with no warning to the guests in the park. People walk on eggshells trying not to upset management so they don’t get kicked out. I have never seen anything like this in my life. The park has amazing residents but they are going to lose them if they don’t get management under control. So many units for sale, people trying to get out while they can still get something out of their permanent units or get thrown out by management. I would never have believed that managers could be so bad in an RV park it’s almost like they have a goal to get rid of the long term residents and they are the best thing about the park. Absolutely inexcusable.

We drove 3000 miles from California and were looking forward to "all the great amenities " at the Blue Parrot in Lady Lake Florida. What a disappointment. The dog park is great as is the pool. Thats it. All of the activities and amenities listed on the web site are not open. No water aerobics, the pickle ball courts are over grown, no net, same with the shuffle board area. The rec room is locked, has been since we arrived Sept 2nd. NO PLANNED ACTIVITIES AT ALL. They should update their web page to let folks know that none of these amenities and activities are not happening until November. And no wifi as was listed. Will not recommend staying here to any of our friends and family. Will post this info on the RV Facebook groups as well. Huge disappointment.

I called the corporate office today and got sent to Andrew's VM! I was told he would be in after lunch. So left a message and never got a return call on a question on why I must pay to repair a part of the parks sewerline that is under the ground! And comes up to connect to mine. I already got to fix own plumbing in my place! There drainage is causing my back up , it's clogged with dirt and grass that I have already cleaned out.

We made a reservation for mid January 2024 thru mid February and looked at the site map to choose a site. We live in Chicago and happened to be in the Ruskin Florida area in June and were quite disappointed when we visited Hawaiian isles. The site map is a lie, in all honestly. The white area that says ‘rv sites’ is mostly park models. The park is old and run down. The pier that goes out to the bay is in need of repair and was partly underwater. When I emailed them asking about repairing the pier, I never got a response, nor did I ever get a response to other emails I sent in regards to the condition of the property. The property seems poorly maintained. We won’t be staying at Hawaiian Isles. We would rather suffer through January in Chicago than deal with a month at Hawaiian isles.

We have been renting a site from Hawaiian Island RV Resort for awhile and they are constantly making changes within the community. Some of the changes are with NO regard for their tenants. This morning they decided to change some of the electric meters. To do so, they had to shut down the electricity in our area which disconnected our Air Conditioning. No advance planning - they just cut the power and we suffer the consequences.

I have lived in Hawaii and Isles for over 15 years. I’ve had managers come and go with the managers. We have now are fantastic. Bob and Kim are doing a great job. They are some of the best managers we have had since I’ve been here, but they are blocked my former management. We have some problems with the water and electricity from time to time but it’s an old park. Bob and his crew are doing everything they can to give us the best surface available and quickly as possible! My hats are off to them. I love it here.

I have been a resident of Trophy Gardens for 30 years now. First in a rv , then a park model and I am now in a mobile home. The resort has the most wonderful managers and the people here are like a loving family. The activities are endless. Something for everyone.

The Resort at Silver Springs Garrett is a wonderful manager and keeps things going which in a resort this size is no small thing. He always goes above and beyond and is super helpful, courteous and professional. We are on our 2nd year lease and because of Garrett and his strong leadership here with his staff, it's a wonderful place to call home. He even hand delivered a package that FedEx was too lazy to bring to our RV. They just left it at the door of the unopened office.( weekend)

I live in the Springs RV Resort in Silver Springs Fl. We have been here many years and love our park. There are some issues from time to time as with all parks but all in all, the staff takes care of them in a timely manner. There is a lot of things to do within the park as well as in the surrounding area. Very nice people .

I had an issue with my booking and cancelation request and I heard back from Wilder right away. My issue has been resolved and the customer service has been great. Thanks!
