Beautiful building, friendly staff, wonderful acoustics. Got tickets for a concert ahead and was able to get good seat locations. Off street parking available which is free after 6pm, be early and find good free parking. doubletree a block away also offers paid parking

First time coming to the Grand, the staff was really friendly and the building was beautiful. I was worried about finding parking, but there are a few lots within a couple blocks of the theater. Overall a great experience

Great venue and awesome selection of events. Seats are a bit tight for taller people but still highly recommend.

Beautiful theater, comfortable and affordable seats. I like how intimate it is, a very warm and inviting place with great acoustics. Refreshments at a reasonable price too!

This is a great venue for performances. It's a beautifully restored opera house in downtown Wilmington. It's intimate, and because it is, the acoustics are great. The best seats are in the orchestra. They have plenty of legroom. The seats in other areas are less spacious, especially in the balcony. Legroom is an issue for me since I am 6'-4", so I always get orchestra seats when I can. The prices for the tickets are always reasonable. The people who work there for the events are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Grand Opera House as a venue for performances.

Wonderful venue to see a concert. My wife and I were there for Ben Folds on his Baby Grand.

We saw Lyle Lovett and Chris Izaak here. The Copeland Hall here is intimate. The acoustics were excellent and the volunteer(?) Staff were helpful and happy. This is a great venue to see a low-key musical show.

Attended my brother's 50th b-day party upstairs! The room was great and met every need for the party! It's a great place to hold an event!

Great looking building with nice acoustics, but I didn't like the fact that one of their staff members tried to insinuate that I entered into the venue without paying. Makes me wonder if they had a negative attitude towards certain people? A bit insulting, considering that I paid $85 for a concert that didn't carry the same energy as other venues in Philadelphia. I saw the same group at the Dell a few years back and they "turned it out" that night. They are good, but not the same at the Grand Opera House. I am a techie, and I did like their Sound System, even though the Sound Engineer had the music sounding unbalanced at times. Because of the building, I would go again if the right act were performing there.

Wonderful sound! Not a bad seat to be had. Truly a great experience, but the staff is really strict about cameras. One of the only venues I've ever been to that doesn't allow personal photos.

Saw the Simon and Garfunkel show here - staff very friendly and helpful and clean facilities. The seats could be a little wider would be my only gripe. Other than that, a very positive experience and a delightful evening 🌆

Went to see The Marriage of Figaro, and the performance was great. Although, we had to wear masks the whole time due to the covid levels. The venue is really nice. It's a bit small at times when everyone is moving like during the intermission, but it was never too bad. I definitely think it is worth anyone giving it a try.

The show was wonderful. Charles Walden and Dante Carter were awesome! The night was good . If you purchase tickets from here make sure that you're not told they will reserve them without cash. I was a friend of the performer who asked me to reserve two rolls of seats the seats were reserved but they still gave them out and the people we got to purchase them couldn't sit there they said it was because there was no money given although the person on the phone said we didn't need any. So the staff is not all on the same page as they should be.
