Fantastic dog friendly lodges overlooking lake. Owners allowed is to exercise dogs in a field as there were no horses in it so we could let them off lead

We stayed in “Percy” absolutely superb place. Was perfect for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids) Has its own outdoor hot tub which was huge. The whole place was clean and very tidy. Percy isn’t right next to the lake which is fine for us especially with the kids. Had its own place to park our cars aswell. You still get a lovely view of the lake and there are plenty of walks around to go on. Great wee play area to have a game of footy etc on, a tennis court and also a basketball hoop. Kids loved it. We loved it. Thank you.

Currently staying in a Superb Lodge 'Charlie' 2nd to 7th September. Upon arrival we experienced the WOW factor in every way. The whole lodge is very spacious. The decor is individually designed beautifully. The beds have super comfortable mattresses and all bedrooms are beautifully designed. The kitchen is very well appointed and every utensil, crockery, cuttelery and pans etc are provided and all in immaculate condition. Cleanliness is outstanding. The views from the large and very spacious verandah is fabulous looking out over the lakes. Plenty of varying wildlife to observe from the comfortable outdoor furniture and table and chairs. This is a truly stunning holiday experience which has the WOW factor in every aspect. Made even more special by the magnificent weather this week. Booking here you definitely won't be disappointed. One of the best holidays we have had this year. We stayed in isabella. The layout of the cabin was really good with the bedrooms along the back of the property and a large open plan kitchen/diner/living room space. Amazingly well decorated and fantastic views of the lakes. Most morning we went for a 20 minute walk around the lakes. They have a hot tub that can be rented out that looks great too. Tennis courts where you can access the rackets and balls and basket balls too. (The equipment is a little well worn but does the job). We have booked for next year already as it was such a great place to visit with local town Richmond and Catterick racecourse well worth a visit too.

Absolutely stunning place could not recommend highly enough, we rented the Jules lodge and found it very spacious and comfortable

Beautiful place, so peaceful. Lodges are 1st class, located around the lake all with lovely views . Very quiet and within easy reach of Richmond and the Yorkshire dales. Perfect get away for a relaxing break.

Just spent 3 nights in the most beautiful lodge situated in the perfect location, over looking the lake with beautiful greenery surrounding it. We stayed in the Jules lodge which had its own hot tub, ideal for a girls break that we were on. The properties cleanliness was on point, the lodge had been throughly cleaned. It was also equipped with everything you needed and also came with a starter hamper which included tea, coffee, bread, milk, crisps, biscuits and cake, which we thought was a lovely touch. If you a looking for a relaxing break with a luxury lodge and beautiful surroundings then Brompton Lakes is the place to go. I would highly recommended it. Also would like to thank Ryan at the reception desk, any queries we made he saw to straight away. We will definitely be returning again.

Finally got to go to Lodge 21, booked originally in 2018 for 2019. Lived upto our expectations. Beautiful decor, comfy beds, immaculately clean and lovely welcome hamper. 12 girls had a great weekend and enjoyed using the hot tub. We also used the BBQ hut to cook our tea on the Saturday. Would recommend the pizza from Pizza van. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely book again.

Lovely luxury lodge situated on the lake. With the river Swale running close by. Lodge has everything you need, a real home from home. Fantastic scenery. Shame there is not a country pub in walking distance. Although plenty of amenities a 10 min drive away.

We stayed in lodge Lulu for 3 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly! We have 3 children and 2 who have autism aswell as other disabilities. We normally have a hard time with the children but they had a lovely time here. The staff at Lulu went over and beyond for us as we made several requests based on the children's needs and they managed everything 10/10. They are very approachable and kind indeed. I have nothing bad to say at all and I usually always have something to say! Thank you very much and well done to the staff. They are a credit to the business!

Stayed for my wife's birthday, had a wonderful time.very relaxing, hot tub was very nice, be careful not to put too many logs on the burner to warm it up.will definitely book again for a bit longer.the private chef was fantastic.

Beautiful place. We stayed in Florence, south facing lodge. We took everything for self catering but was pleasantly surprised with staples. Also last but not at all least, very welcoming food and drinks basket. We have stayed 5 times and booked again xx

Second time here both for birthday celebrations, absolutely gorgeous place, the lodges are beautifully decorated to a high standard, the staff are lovely everything is catered for, every utensil pots pans and glasses you need, dressing gowns for use round the lodges and hot tubs! We brought our dog second time he loved it aswell, it’s the perfect place for a get together, we will definitely be rebooking we just need to get our dates for next year together, thankyou

Stayed here with my family for 4 nights. Location is beautiful and plenty of lovely walks. The duck's really made my day with all the quacking off.

Loved everything in it. The cottage and the rooms as well as the beds are big and cozy. The view on the lake was amazing . One of the best cottages I have been in . Self service. There are no restaurants at the place.

Brompton Lakes is an oasis of calm and a beautiful spot for a quiet, peaceful retreat. The lodge (Abbey) was beautifully appointed with all we could have required for our stay. It was Spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. We love to cook and we found the kitchen to be modern, and we were provided with all the necessary utensils and cook ware. The beds were enormous and extremely comfortable, a joy to lie in listening to the birds. Loved the big TV, not that we watched much, but the best part of the sitting room was the log burner and large supply of logs to make the lodge even cosier. The bird life around the lake is another lovely thing, from mallards quacking away on the roof to geese and swans feeding as well as many types of songbirds you can’t look far without seeing something. We brought our Labrador who loved his time here. Lots of space to exercise and a nice walk around the perimeter of the site which gives great views of the River Swale. You can even go down to the beach and skim stones. Really recommend a stay for anyone seeking peace, bird life and comfort.

Beautiful Brompton lakes. Visit every year and it is so tranquil. Just stunning. All the properties are stunning. See you next December.

Fantastic place to spend quality time with family. Lodges are of a very high standard with cracking wood stove, logs are supplied. Views are stunning when sitting on veranda overlooking lake.

We so needed some time away to recharge after a difficult year and lots of sadness following the death of our mum. Loved it when we came with mum last year so decided to come back. We had a lovely time and will be back as soon as we can. Our new favourite place 💖

Beautiful lodge, stunning location, well worth a visit, its our first time here and I'm pretty certain it won't be our last! My only complaint was the tin opener which didn't work!

Stayed in Jules this week. Amazing ! Loved it. So peaceful & perfect. Lovely waking up to the beautiful scenery. Jules is great if you have little ones as it's not directly on the lake. Brompton lakes is the perfect chill retreat. Free bike hire, plenty of goodies come with the lodge, it's like home from home. It was our first visit & I can't wait for our next. My mother in law has just booked for a long weekend after I told her how lovely it was. Theres a reason why this place is always so booked up. It's just fabulous. Kids are safe & go off to play football or go on the bikes on their own safely. Theres plenty to do locally in Richmond. Such a beautiful, picturesque, idyllic place

Beautiful lake and eco lodges

We've been staying in the Abbey Lodge and it's been amazing. Lovely to wake up to the birds on the balcony. Only down side is that one of the bedrooms is way too hot but the fan provided helped. Would highly recommend this place for a staycation

Beautiful lodges, hobbit esc! Set around a peaceful lake. The lodges are modern with great facilities. The lake is clean and full of wildlife which our son loved to watch. 2 minute drive into Richmond what more could you want.
