ORLANDO is amazing! I’ve been stuck wearing my hair in a ponytail for over a year but after his services, I’m finally confident enough to wear my hair down. Before him my hair was flat and so unflattering; now it compliments my face and it’s exactly what I needed. His layers are perfect and his styling is beautiful. Isaac told me that most likely I would see the gray as soon as I always saw it with other colorists! He lied!! His color was amazing, vibrant, not brassy, just beauty-full and the best part is that I didn’t see the gray the way I had before I began coming to him. His stylists have always been great, I’ve been coming for cuts and blowouts for years. And his main salon assistant Lucy is a special breath of fresh air! I drove from NJ to this Salon not knowing what to expect. I read so many good reviews that made me want to give it a chance and I am so glad I did because I was so satisfied with the way my hair looked and the amazing attention I received from the ppl that work there. By the way I have curly hair and after dying my hair my curls looked healthy not all dry and weak like in the past when I got my hair dyed. Definitely will come back here. Isaac was the one that took care of me.

Now my hair is sensational! He is very professional and down to earth! He knows his business very well! He listens to you, gives you his recommendations before touching your hair. I went to Riva for the first time and I was so happy to be welcomed so warmly! Some salons treat you like they’re doing you a big favor, but the staff at Riva is so friendly. Lucy shampooed my hair and was the sweetest lady. Orlando was so nice, talking with me a few minutes to get an idea of what I wanted. With some input from him, I knew I was in good hands. He knew what I wanted and gave me a beautiful cut and blowout, and gave me some advice on how to take care of my hair. It was so nice to meet him and he was so sweet and friendly. AMAZING price for the quality. I have been to 3 different salons in the past few years (after only going to Albany for my hair before that). Those places really messed up my hair and I was so traumatized. Jody was very reassuring and lived up to her word. Jody (colorist) gave me such a STUNNING color; I was blown away. It blends so naturally with my hair; I’m still floored by it! Julie (stylist) did a phenomenal job with my cut keeping the length as much as she could. I love both their personalities, they’re very sweet and kind. This is definitely my new place. I’m a Virgo sun & moon - we ain’t easy to impress! Really, really, thank you, I’m beyond grateful. I feel like a new person! Highly recommend!

I had the best experience with Stella! I have curly hair and she was able to give me a great haircut and blow out that really helped keep the shape of my curls. She was so nice and professional, I always go back to her now.

Orlando was amazing! I went in not really having a vision and told him to just go for whatever he thinks would look good and to give my hair some life again. I love the cut and will definitely be coming back here for all my cuts

This was my first time at RivaSalon and it was amazing. To start, the salon is very beautiful and I felt incredibly welcomed by the owner, Isaac. I am very particular with how I like my hair cut and the curly hair specialist- Luna- did a very nice job. She listened to my concerns with my hair and what I was looking for in my hair cut and she did just that. You can tell she is a serious professional as she knew a ton about curly hair and was very educated in the type of products to use. I left RivaSalon feeling more confident in my healthier curly hair and with a better understanding of how to take care of it. Will definitely be coming back!! thank you.

I’ve been going to Riva since it opened. I’ve tried numerous stylists and had both good and bad experiences. My main and biggest complaint is that I do not feel like the stylists listen and I find it hard to tell if I’ve gotten what I asked for until I’m home, when it’s too late to speak up. From a person with long and thick hair, if you want a standard, layered haircut with a nice blowout at a reasonable price, Riva will work for you (Alex can do this beautifully in record time). If you want to consult with your hair stylist to try something new, I wouldn’t recommend
