Lots of Japanese style gardens. Cool walking trail, kinda weird hours but worth it if you can make it during the day

This is a local hidden gem and beautifully cared for. Perfect for spending an hour or two walking through and exploring. It’s lovely seeing the way that the area is maintained. The flowers and birds and beautiful, and the area is a nice escape from the hustle of the town and tranquil. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Small cute gardens for a nice short walk. Went in the end of August. Wear long pants if you tend to get bit by mosquitoes. A nice place if you are looking for some quiet and not a lot of people

Very serene and beautiful. Such a good walk and lots of resting stops with benches. All the attendees were very observant of wearing their masks.

It's very beatiful place especially in spring and summer. Trees, flowers, and birds are everywhere, I believe that It will give you peace of mind for sure. If you live in Floral Park, it would be wonderful experience to walk through the garden. But it doesn't open regularly for some reason, although it says it opens from noon to 5pm during weekdays.

Has a special peace in this place. Perfect for a walk with one person and to clear your head. This isn’t an all day event type of place. Just somewhere u go with one person for 15 20 mins max but completely worth it

Sweet little gem!! So much shade & beauty. Beautiful way to enjoy nature for an hour or so. 1/2 mile walking trail around interior perimeter (park is fenced in), and a lovely 1/4 bridge walkway that cut through the gardens, all shaded. You can also walk 3/4 around the exterior of park on a paver stone walkway. Also shaded & lots of park benches. Brought my 90 yr old mother in a wheel chair- she loved it. Lower gardens not accessible to wheelchair but we saw plenty from afar.

Beautiful garden and picnic areas. There was a little children's area and sensory garden that's really thoughtful, and 2 small free book libraries. Serene vibes and refreshing air and scenery.

We were looking for somewhere to stretch out legs on a recent visit from Pennsylvania and happened upon Centennial Gardens. We loved it! It was such a nice place to take a little walk, clean and peaceful.
