Korean & Japanese food combined! Serving both cultures and the food is great! Usually it's one- sided, but this place does an excellent job of giving a taste of both cultures. Quantity and quality are equivalent as well as prices. Good place for date or outting with friends. Highly recommended, will go again.

First time having Bonchon, and it was yum. Do not underestimate their spicy wings. Their seasoned fries is delicious and huge portions. The Staff is very friendly and their prices are good. Will definitely try them more.

would order from here about once a month. last nite we ordered the large spicy combo and not the spicy combo. good as usual on the wings. the drumsticks. it was raw in the middle. not like slightly under cooked it was raw and not just one but like most of the drumsticks. oh well. i guess will not be ordering the drumsticks. wings is the way to go.

Chicken tasted OK. Wasn't so crispy and actually the soy garlic sauce was little too salty, later that day I was really thirsty. Prices aren't bad. Oh and the seasoned fries had sugar on them? Was overly salty/sweet.

Pros Tips: 1) wings over big drum sticks 2) mix and match - soy garlic and sweet chili (unique flavor ( get bbq anywhere) 3) EAT RADISH! It's vinegar with sugar so it's damn sweet and helps you eat more 4) eat one soy drumstick then eat one sweet chili wing. 5) ADVANCED. eat one bite of soy then I e bite of sweet chili. ***SUPER LEVEL*** RIP THE MEAT MIX TOGETHER AND PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH!!! 6) for ultimate drink with a sprite, get your own though cause who wants to pay over two bucks a can, right. Con: this is double fried and you'll feel some heart palpitations and grogginess afterwards but the bliss was nice while it lasted. :) $30 for 20 wings.. you'll be good after 10-12, anymore and you're stuffing it. Either way enjoy another 6-8 for lunch tomorrow.

Well let me say first off this place is awesome. The chicken is great. Fried just right juicy and crispy. The flavors on the chicken we got were soy garlic and sweet crunch. So good. The fries were crisp and delicious. The soup tacos and pot stickers were great as well. We will be back.

Bonchon Bayside has a pretty good selection of food items. We visited on a Saturday evening and were seated relatively quickly. The servers were friendly. This location is not very big, however there was only one other family dining in. It seems as though they have many orders that are pick-up/take out. We ordered the drumsticks, half soy garlic half spicy, the korean bulgogi tacos, and the parmesan truffle fries. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely return for the food, especially the tacos. The only reason this location does not receive five stars is because the floor was VERY slippery. As someone with a disability it was a dangerous establishment. It is a hazard and an accident waiting to happen (of course, hopefully this is rectified before someone is injured). Otherwise, a great location and thank you for a wonderful experience!

If you are looking for great tastings chicken wings this is the place to be. Their wings were super crispy (which were a plus for me) and the portion were big. The relaxed ambience of the place made me want to stay and not leave. I highly recommend this place... p.s. their tacos are amazing

I had heard from friends that the wings at Bonchon were the best. I was somewhat skeptical due to the fact that I have never had Korean food. Well to my surprise I finally decided to try the wings. I was pleasantly surprised. They were tasty, well seasoned and crispy. They did not disappoint!!👍💯 not to mention the service at the location in Bayside was on point. The Cashier was very professional and exceptionally nice. I will definitely be returning.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place was clean. You must be patient as they cook to order though. It is a very small place with about 3-4 tables. The food was tasty (ckn legs, wings,, Cole slaw) but the garlic parmesian fries were a little strange because they were sweet! Not the taste Iwas looking for! Also the Bayside location, due to it's size, does not have a full menu. You must travel 10 more minutes westward to their Flushing location for that. Otherwise, it's worth the trip to try it at least once and you'll see.

They fry the chicken at the time of your order, so yes there's a 30 mins or more wait. But it is worth it. Freshly fried, not overly seasoned chicken. Friendly staff. At the time of my visit, no on-site eating but plenty of delivery options via uber/door dash. Off street free parking along with on street paid meter parking.

Best fried chicken I've had! Not only is the chicken crisped to perfection but the coating of sauce is absolutely divine. We ordered a medium order of wings with half tossed in soy garlic and the other half tossed in spicy. I would say if you're not used to eating spicy, it will definitely be spicy for you but if you can handle the heat, the taste is delicious. I loved both flavors. The food was definitely the shining light of this place but the service was great too. I'll definitely be ordering from here more often.

I’ve had Bonchon in Manhattan so I wanted to try to Bayside location since it was closer. I came the other day and it was great. Food came out at a reasonable time. I had the small combo (6 wings and 3 drums) with a side of kimchi and coleslaw. Chicken was great, the batter was light and airy not greasy at all. The sides countered the chicken very well. My food came up to about 20 bucks. My server was really good and I gave a tip at the end. Will def be coming back.

We love eating out. Yesterday we found this fine place which friends told us about. We enjoyed a delightful time there with great cooking and a professional team and an impressive cook. We put this venue in our phone list and we will certainly return soon. We highly recommend.

Food taste great and fresh, but for some reason this KFC location in particular always upsets my stomach. Also they offered a great combo deal, called in an order and was told they didn't have that deal. Got to the store to pick up and they had a huge poster on the window again promoting the combo deal, asked again in person and was again told it's no longer available. I think you should take the sign down and the promotion off the website if that's the case.

Placed an order with doordash so I can pick up the order selected if an item is not available contact me. Get to the location and they cancelled the order because an item was not available. No attempt to contact me, does not know anything about that option. A little bit of consideration would of went a long way saving me the trip. Ended up placing an order with Mad For Chicken.

Workers were unprofessional and seemed to be flirting with each other. Although the Flushing location is further, I will be going there from now on because their customer service is much nicer.

My go to are the sweet crunch wings and seasoned fries. Sweet crunch wings are always great. The seasoned fries can vary. Some of the times, they taste amazing and have a lot of seasoning (you can see the white cheese-like seasoning and parsley). However, other times, I've gotten them and they have been bland - almost no seasoning! Hence, the 4 stars. I've also gotten the tteokbokki, but it's wayyyy to spicy for me to comfortably enjoy, but if it wasn't as spicy, I'd really love it.

Korean Fried Chicken, always delicious and always a party favorite. This visit I tried the new flavor (August 2021), sweet chili and it didn't disappoint. They were sticky, sweet and a hint of chili pepper. I'm not that tolerable with really spicy food so this is not for those who love heat. This is for those that want that sweet and pepper-y taste. Drumsticks were so juicy and the wings were great. My favorite is still the classic soy Garlic. Their pickled radish is excellent.

One of the best Korean Fried Chicken restaurants in the Bayside Queens area. I'm sure there are other options in Manhattan but this location is quaint and has just about 4 tables for dinning in. They are extremely busy with takeout orders for delivery. Nonetheless, the food is great and as expected from Bonchon. Parking can be tough depending on the time of day as the lot in front of the restaurant caters to multiple stores in the shopping plaza. Staff are friendly and helpful when inquiring about menu items. Definitely recommend giving them a try! The Soy Garlic and Spicy Wings and Legs are Amazing and a must try!

Tried Bonchon chicken for the first time today and it was good but not what i expected. The portions are a great size but i felt like everything was a little... sweet? I got the soy garlic drumsticks and i wanted them to be crispier, they were a little sweet tasting as wellm the seasoned fries were weighed down by the seasoning and didn't travel well. But the staff were very friendly and it was easy to order from the website. They have a small parking lot but there was a decent amount of street parking.

I ordered some wings for pickup and they were terrible. They tasted stale and dry and flavorless. And they were super small. In this economy, you think I have money to waste? Smh

I’ve ordered here at least 2x a month (both take out and dine-in) and each time the large/wide guy is behind the counter, the service is terrible because he is extremely rude…and somehow food quality is below average too when he is there. Seasoned fries barely have any seasonings and soggy.

Korean fried chicken in it's core, it's what you expect to get. There are three flavors to choose from with their choice of chicken wings or drumsticks, or a combination of both: soy garlic, spicy, and sweet crunch. We ordered the seasoned fries, takoyaki, and the small combo of 6 wings and 3 drumsticks. It was odd ordering the takoyaki, but it was a welcomed addition to our meal. We didn't have the chance to taste the sweet crunch, but if you wanted to try, you can get 3 sweet crunch wings to your order for an additional 3.99.

The place doesn’t really look like much when you pull up it’s located On a street with a mini mall , there is parking but it’s tight so be mindful . The staff was pleasant. the inside of the restaurant looked a little busy due to boxes everywhere , Social distancing was practiced . There is no inside dining dining due to COVID and no outside dining . I ordered the 20 piece wings half and half ( spicy and soy garlic) and potstickers. The order came with a small cubed radish . The chicken was so good y’all! They were sitting in my car for a little while due to the distance but when I ate them they are still Crunchy! Fresh and the sauces were flavorful. The soy garlic sauce is a mild flavorful sauce, the spicy sauce has a deep flavor with a kick but it might be a little too spicy for people that don’t like spicy food so please take caution. This is definitely something I would try again. The potstickers were good as well they come with 8 pieces and I had them in the half and half sauces as well. They were stuffed , crunchy and full of flavor. One of the best potstickers I have tried . The radish I didn’t like that as much it had a different texture and smell that I didn’t really care for so I would pass on it but it’s free with your order so no harm there lol . Oh please Call ahead of time . The food takes about 25 mins to prepare. Happy eating !

I love bonchon chicken. I've eaten in multiple other branches many times. However, when I ordered take out at this restaurant, I was disappointed at the size of the chicken. I ordered a medium for 2 people and it didn't fill us at all. I had to cook another meal after the chicken to fill ourselves up. I ate most of the chicken before remembering to snap a picture but most of the drumstick were very small and even the wings were smaller than usual. There was also a lack of sauce on some of the chicken, which made it lack flavor. I hope that the next time I order from this restaurant I will have better luck with the sizing.

First time here. Food was delicious. I had to try the wings and I can honestly tell you that wings are the best I ever had. It's outside has crunchiness and when you bite you get a little bit of the sweetness as well. I had the bull dak as main dish. It's on the spicier side of the spectrum and for those who are not used to real spicy food I would give a word of caution. But the sauce and cheese went well together along with the chicken. Overall I would recommend this place.
