    I signed up for the 3 month guaranteed weight loss program. Paul and Alex were my trainers and they created workouts that were challenging, yet appropriate for my ability level. Both were always attentive, friendly, and patient and offered easy-to-understand instructions on how to fix my form to avoid any injury. Before Peak Performance, I didn't look forward to going to the gym, but now I do look forward to my training sessions with Paul and Alex as each session is different and engaging. By the end of the program, I lost 15 lbs and 7.6% body fat. I didn't think I would actually reach that number, but thanks to Paul and Alex's guidance, I met my goal. I've tried Orange Theory Fitness, Weight Watchers, and YouTube workouts before for 1-3 months. However, I never got the same kind of results that I got from the weight loss program at Peak Performance Fitness. I'm really happy with my results and I would highly recommend this program to anyone who needs that extra motivation, structure, or accountability to get into better shape.

    Although I rarely write reviews I felt it was necessary to do so to let others knows how incredible Peak Performance Fitness is. To call it is a gym is actually a disservice. It is so much more. Peak Fitness is a gym with top notch equipment and very clean and sanitized (so important in our Covid world) but is a center where everyone feels comfortable and part of a team. The trainers are all college graduates and are exercise physiologists who are not only trained and qualified but friendly and positive people who love motivating their clients and helping them achieve their best. The manager is excellent and is caring and not only knows everyone by name but also knows their individual goals. He is always responsive to questions and concerns. Peak is not a gym where you are a number that signs in. You feel at home here. When I joined years ago I was out of shape and looking for a place to improve my health and more importantly a place I would feel comfortable going to. I also needed a program. I found this in Peak. I met with an amazing trainer every week for a long time while working out myself on other days with a plan set up for me. But even after I discontinued training the trainers and manager still kept tabs on me and continue to advise me and help me reach my goals. I cannot say enough positive things about Peak and highly recommend it!

    We had a terrific experience at peak performance. Our 10 year old son plays travel soccer at an academy. He did a few months of sports specific training at Peak Performance. His exercise physiologist, David, was absolutely spectacular. He related well to our son. He taught him different stretches. They worked on strength training and injury prevention biomechanics. Our son wanted to do 2 hours session on the weekends! That’s how much he enjoyed the sessions. He didn’t want to stop training with David. The entire fitness team was great to interact with. Paul was especially good at staying in touch and always following up with answers to my questions. We have also tried a speed school in the area and we feel that the sports specific training at Peak performance is way superior. Our son enjoyed the sessions at Peak a lot more. The sessions at peak were especially better at focusing on strength training with close attention to injury prevention. The other speed school focused less on injury prevent and our son often left that place with minor muscle strains. Thank you David and Paul. You guys were terrific. We will be back in the future.

    I went to set up a plan for exercise in a gym or at home. My coach, Derek, did an excellent job helping me through the machines at Peak. More importantly, he set up my daily workouts that I can do at home or while traveling. Derek really listened and responded to all my concerns. Very professional.

    About seven months ago, I started my fitness and weight loss program with Peak Performance Fitness. One of their exercise physiologists that helped me on my journey was Francis. He is professional, courteous, knowledgable, and patient. He has been able to assist me in gaining muscle and losing 30 pounds of fat during our months of working together. Francis is well-organized and willing to accommodate my schedule. Overall, the fitness team provided me with the knowledge and accountability I required. I'll keep using the advice I received to reach my weight loss objectives and maintain the healthy lifestyle they helped me establish.

    I am a 70year old patient at Ivy Rehab due to a severe fall Needing PT for extended time due to my injuries. Seeing the Peak Performance side of this facility I joined the gym. To further my healing journey. I was blessed with Derek B. As a fitness trainer showing me the use and equipment of the gym. I now have weekly sessions with Derek who is aware of my frame and my weaknesses Therefore giving me particular strength training for my needs Derek pushes me. Which is necessary in My case I will continue to work with Derek in my healing journey I’m getting better

    I started working out with exercise physiologist Titus in July 2023. Since we started he’s made me feel very comfortable and I no longer completely hate exercising. He designed a custom program for me and is always switching things up so I stay interested and don’t get bored. He even convinced me to run a 5k which I ended up winning 1st place for my age group. Also love that it’s not overly crowded like most gyms in this area.

    Very professional place. Went there for the fitness and weight loss program. I had gotten hurt at work a while ago and was having trouble maintaining a healthy weight and getting back in shape without hurting myself further. Derek helped come up with a program to help me without that fixed my form and taught me different ways to exercise. They're very knowledgeable and well trained there. Would definitely recommend the weight loss program or if you’re looking to recover and get back in shape from any injuries

    I have been going to Peak Performance Fitness in Lynbrook and with their weight loss /nuitrition program I have lost both weight and inches. I enjoy my workouts and am learning to eat healthly. My trainer is the greatest!

    My experience at peak performance has been great I have been going for several months my weight loss experience been significant I’ve lost about ten pounds so far thanks to the nutritional guidance of my personal trainer Titus I’ve come a long way I still have more to lose but with hard work and his pushing me to do my best I’m glad I started there besides everyone there is very nice atmosphere is great I’m very happy with my progress

    I started at Peak Performance after transitioning out of PT at Ivy Rehab and it has changed my world! Especially returning after covid lockdown… I feel that I am in a safe and clean environment and my Exercise Physiologist Louise is the best! She has helped me build strength and stamina and that has improved my activities of daily living! Not only can I run up and down to the laundry room without feeling exhausted, but I competed and placed in their Turkey Trot and felt so accomplished! Their team is kind and knowledgeable and I have recommended Peak Performance to family and friends!

    I have been working with Louise, as my physiologist since 2016. She is extremely knowledgeable and competent. She knows which exercises will help me the most. She has given me excellent guidance with my health. I am so glad to have her working with me.

    I have been going to this gym for a while now and I have been very successful in its weight loss program. It has helped me lose weight at a reasonable pace and I am feeling a lot better because of it. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to lose weight or gain muscle mass.

    I have been coming to peak performance for last 7 years on and off for both physical therapy and weight loss programs. Staff is unbelievably knowledgeable and honestly fantastic. From the trainers to the physical therapist themselves. Great everyday gym as well!

    In March 2021 I was feeling out of shape, lacking in energy and quite a bit older than my 73 years - I believed I was heading in a downward trajectory. Something had to be done but what? I considered joining a local gym but the memory of a long past “training“ experience made me hesitate. How would a commercial gym address my age and poor condition? Then I remembered my close friend, in her mid-80s, who continues to snowshoe and cross country ski. She has worked out at Peak Performance and Fitness under Paul’s gentle and effective guidance for years. I decided to commit to Peak even though it meant a 30 minute drive from my house. The gym is clean, well-maintained with modern equipment. At the heart of Peak is the fitness team of college educated physiologists. They are all pleasant, patient and extremely knowledgeable in the mechanics of the body. When I started training with the beautiful and inspirational Louise I was barely able to pedal the exercise bike for five minutes to warm up. Louise planned our sessions to increase, not only my strength and endurance, but also my balance and posture. Very critical components of healthy aging! And training at Peak has been fun as well as effective. In the fall I began training for the Massapequa turkey trot as part of Team Peak. In December we participated in the “reindeer games” weekly challenge. There is a unique feeling of community at peak fitness! My decision a year ago has been truly life-changing. I notice the difference in myself - no pain in my hips during long car drives, energy to keep up with my athletic grandsons and a feeling of confidence. Life is better! It has been the best investment I have made in myself!

    Peak Performance’s Guaranteed Weight Loss Program is the complete package! I recently finished the 12-week program and was able lose over 45 lbs. The exercise physiologists, Paul and Alex were amazing and so supportive with helping me with my weight loss goals and in creating a healthier lifestyle. I was able to meet with Alex weekly to help customize an exercise and nutritional program that worked for me. We were constantly reevaluating my progress each week and he was able to support me with the challenges that came my way with eating and exercise. Overall, the fitness team provided a welcoming and positive environment that gave me the knowledge and accountability that I needed. I will continue to use the information that I was given to fully accomplish my weight loss goals and continue with the healthier lifestyle that they helped me create.

    The best weight loss program available is Peak Performance's Guaranteed Weight Loss Program! As of now, I've lost more than 15 pounds after signing up for the 12-week program. I had such fantastic assistance from Francis, the exercise physiologist, in reaching my weight loss goals and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Every week, Francis and I were able to work together to create a personalized fitness and diet plan. He helped me overcome the obstacles I faced with food and exercise, and we regularly assessed my progress each week. I received the knowledge and accountability I required from the fitness team in an all-around welcoming and motivating environment. I’m super excited about future accomplishments together.

    I have been going to Peak Performance in Lynbrook for about 1 year. All the exercise physiologists are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and the environment is extremely welcoming. People of all ages and fitness levels work out and greet you with smiles. My trainer does an amazing job at gradually increasing the difficulty of various exercises to help me stay strong and he changes up my routine so that I do not get bored. I highly recommend this gym if you want a small, welcoming environment where you will enjoy going.

    I’ve had such a positive experience with the Personal Training and Weight Loss Program at Peak Performance. My trainer Alex created an amazing individualized program based on my personal goals, observing and evaluating my baseline strength and cardio ability, and analyzing the results from my data. Alex increased the intensity and challenges of the program as I showed progress, while also making sure I always kept proper form to avoid injuries. The personal training with Alex, combined with the independent program he created for me and the ongoing nutritional consult resulted in a 15 pound weight loss in 8 weeks. I lost 5% body fat and am down 3 clothing sizes. This healthier lifestyle helped me avoid needing blood pressure and cholesterol medication. Coming to Peak made me a stronger, healthier, more energetic, and much happier person. I have a much better mindset about exercise and nutrition and now I love coming to the gym. Thanks for the motivation and great results!

    I joined the weight loss program at Peak Fitness a few months ago. Not having exercised in a long time, I was nervous about joining a gym and feeling out of place. I was happy to find a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is very friendly and takes the time to remember your name. I have been training and having weekly nutritional consultations with Titus, one of the exercise physiologists, since I started coming here. Titus immediately made me feel comfortable. He is not only professional but also personable and easy to get along with. He has taken the time to get to know me and understand my goals. He motivates and pushes me to succeed during my workouts with exercises I didn’t think I was capable of doing, yet knows when my body needs rest. He has created a personalized program for me and adjusts it as I continue to improve. So far I have lost over 15 pounds and 5% body fat. This program has provided me with the guidance and structure I need to succeed. I look forward to continuing my journey at Peak Fitness. I highly recommend Titus if you are looking for one-on-one training sessions. I encourage anyone considering joining Peak Fitness, to do it. It has been a great experience.

    I’ve been going here for about 9 months now and it is awesome. My progress has been great and the way they operate is great. I always have a fun time with all the trainers. Not overcrowded in the gym.
